The WORST manufacturer there is!!! Stay away, I promise buying/owning their vehicles will be the biggest mistake you will ever make! They do not back their vehicles or warranties. You will be turned away if you bring your vehicle in for the same issue multiple times! We bought a platinum extended warranty and it does NOTHING! I filed with "VW Cares" and they DO NOT CARE, they need to change their name to VW DOESN"T CARE!! I filed with BBB Auto Line and they DO NOT CARE!! Do your research before buying from ANY manufacture!! I sure wish I did because then I would never be in the position to own a $50k vehicle that is a piece of crap!! This is the WORST vehicle I have ever owned, and I have owned many! And now I am stuck unless I pay MASS amounts to get out of it! They back absolutely NOTHING!! STEER CLEAR!! My 2023 Atlas Cross Sport had issues 100 miles in and has been in the shop with NOTHING fixed for the last 2 years! They always say "Oh that's normal" and it isn't! Volkswagen you ABSOLUTELY DISGUST ME! The worst there is by far!!

We purchased the vehicle (ID 4 2021) in August 2021 and had our first 10,000-mile service performed on May 24, 2022.Within the first year and a half of ownership, we experienced the failure and replacement of the first battery cell on April 4, 2023.During subsequent years, we have had to replace four additional battery cells: two in the second year (August 2, 2023, and December 20, 2023) and two in the third year (September 24, 2024).These issues have caused significant frustration, difficulty, and anxiety regarding the vehicles reliability. In September 2024, I experienced a battery range reduction that nearly stranded me on a highway late at night while commuting home from work due to faulty battery cells.Following the fourth battery cell replacement, the dealership test-drove the vehicle before returning it to me. They received a notice indicating that a fifth battery cell required replacement during the same visit. As of November 8, 2024 our vehicle was still being serviced by our authorized service agent when we sent a certified letter to Volkswagen ************** There has been no response to our request. I have filed a BBB Auto Claim as well.Given the frequency and severity of these electrical system issues, we are concerned about the vehicles overall reliability. We rely on our vehicle to safely transport our family, including three children, to and from school, work, and other appointments, and we do not drive with confidence, as your slogan states in a Volkswagen ********** addition to the battery cell replacements, we have encountered numerous other minor faulty product issues, such as door latches, handles, panels coming off twice, and the driver-side armrest being replaced. These issues, while concerning, pale in comparison to the vehicles electrical system problems. I also called customer care to confirm address for our letter and waited for 40 minutes before I finally hung up with no answer!

Despite my ** app indicating that my car was in 'good health,' my check engine light unexpectedly came on. After taking the 2022 ****** back to **********, NJ **, I was informed that I needed an oil separator. Both the service and parts departments informed me that this part was on backorder and a likely time for delivery was 3-6 months, in addition, I was told that Volkswagen has parts backorders affecting over ***** customers nationwide. This situation has rendered my vehicle unusable, because driving it would put me at risk for significant damage. I was told no loaner vehicle were available and that there was a lengthy waitlist for a loaner. After several calls and visits to Burlington VW, I attempted to resolve this issue through ** corporate offices and called their ***************** which proved to be as equally frustrating. Despite multiple calls with representatives and even a supervisor, my requests for further escalation were denied, while being told that the dealership themselves are given the authority to handle customer issues locally, leaving me with no option but to deal with the dealership directly.I engaged with the *************** Managers with no relsolve. Left with very limited options, I thought that the dealership would be able to offer me a reasonable solution if I chose to purchase a new Tiquan. I explored the possibility of trading in my 2022 Tiguan for a 2024 model. I was offered a reduced trade-in value due to the unresolved repair, in addition I was only offered the standard discount on a new purchase. Requests to discuss this matter with higher management have gone ************* confidence in **'s commitment to customer satisfaction has been shaken, and I am now reconsidering my future loyalty to the brand

Complaint Summary: ******************** Consumption in 2021 Volkswagen Passat, High Repair Costs, and Lack of Recall Assistance In June 2024, I purchased a 2021 Volkswagen Passat with ****** miles from Enterprise Car Sales. Within a few months, I encountered a severe and persistent issue with excessive engine oil consumption, with the oil levels dropping significantly after only short driving ************ confirm the problem, I brought the vehicle to ****** Westside Volkswagen for an oil consumption test. This test confirmed the issue and cost me $600. I was informed that diagnosing and potentially repairing this problem could cost approximately $1,700, with full repairs potentially ranging between $7,000 and $15,000, depending on the extent of the damage.I reached out to Volkswagen to inquire if any recalls covered this problem, but I was told that no oil consumption recalls apply to my vehicle. I believe Volkswagen should take responsibility for these issues, as such severe oil consumption is abnormal and potentially indicative of a design flaw or defect.Desired Outcome: I am seeking assistance from Volkswagen to cover the repair costs or provide a fair resolution. Excessive oil consumption at this mileage is not expected, and addressing this issue would reflect the brand's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. For prospective buyers, I urge caution when considering Volkswagen vehicles, given my experience with this unresolved issue.

Volkswagen repossessed my leased car while accepting every, on time, payment. I did go over my lease. This went on my credit report. Is this common practice?

I bought a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta brand new off the show room floor from Scott Vw in east providence r.i the day I bought the car It shut down on me completely in the middle of the highway on the way home sense then the vehicle has been in and out of the garage for repairs 7-8x already I put in a claim for Vw to buy this vehicle back and they refused because I live in Massachusetts but bought the vehicle in r.i the vehicle has always been serviced in Massachusetts as they told me to do. Now my vehicle is automatically slamming on the brakes almost causing rear end collisions as well as one of my keys now don’t work and my Vw car net is not working either and keep in mind they just replaced that whole system completely. I’ve asked Vw to do the right thing and buy this vehicle back as it’s a lemon and they refused because I live in a different state from where i purchased the vehicle if your looking for a safe reliable vehicle stay as far away from Vw as possible run if you can they will take your money and laugh in your face when there product hurts you or your loved ones.

I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport and had to replace the fuel injector 1 which costed me $1700.00 and I am no where close to ******* miles. When I did research on this video, this fuel injector should have lasted in this vehicle at least 10yrs. This was so unexpectant. The vehicle started stalling, when I pushed the gas it was like the vehicle did not want to move forward. I am requesting a refund back for this repair because I do not believe this part should have went this quick in a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport.

I purchased my ***************** brand new in March of 2021. After a couple months I was having issues with the radio and my phone working through my hands free features. It was always random if they were going to work. I took it back to the dealer. They said ** is aware of this issue, and working on a update fix. Well after 3 updates, and 8 times in for new parts they can't seem to fix the problem. I've been very patient for 3 1/2 years. Not anymore this is ridiculous now ************** wants me to start all over again and bring it back to the service center to be fixed Ha Ha!! I have also called and emailed *******. on this ongoing problem 5 times. They don't seem to stand behind there s***** ************...the dealer ship has been great through this mess. They come pick up my VW, and leave me a loaner with NO charge to me. I wish Corporate ** had some scruples.

I purchased a 2024 VW Jetta Sport on May 29, 2024. I have never owned a VW, but believed that they were safe and good vehicles. This vehicle has been in the shop for over a month, but it took 2 months to schedule service for computer issues, bad brakes, SOS never worked, wiring issues, and more concerns re: lack of safety in this vehicle. The a/c doesnt work correctly. Its hot in the ******* area, and I paid for is new vehicle that should have had everything working as a brand new vehicle and instead been informed that I purchased a lemon with a problematic brand. VW has been a struggle to deal with and demanded a buyback because this vehicle has too many serious issues and still does. I have been lied to by VW and I need a new, safe, and reliable vehicle to commute safely and comfortably to work and appointments. The vehicle is scheduled to go to a different dealership because ***************** VW sales and service has failed me from the purchase of the vehicle. I have received the runaround and informed that VW vehicles have several issues. I shouldnt have to continue suffering with an unsafe, unreliable VW, and continue to bring the vehicle into service centers and told that I will continue to have problems owning this vehicle by service advisor. I need assistance. This has been over 3 months of me pleading to have VW to buyback this vehicle since June 2024. I am returning to ****** or ****** I never had these issues with them. ***************** sales is horrible and told me a week after purchasing the vehicle that I need to call ***** VW number to file complaints. Enough is enough. I have been stranded with this vehicle and still do not have the tools needed to change a spare. This was a ************** and I need Assistance!!
