I have a Navy Federal account and I lost my ID but I still had access to my account and I tried to make a purchase and they would not let me said it was fraud so I was told to call in so I called In . to the call center I got one of the most rudest customer service people in my life. The woman hung up the phone on me then I called back in to find out who Im talking to and the guy will not give me the manager name said that was against their policy, so I go check up their policy. Their policy is to give me their name so Im highly upset and my distrust in the bank so making me close my account. You are not a valued customer at Navy ******************** .

I am very disappointed with the customer service I received from Navy ******************** while trying to fix a discrepancy on my account. Approximately I was advised that I needed to bring my automobile title to avoid my interest rate being raised. My monthly payment went up approximately $50. I was advised by several representatives that I just needed to bring in the proper paperwork and my payments would go back to it's original amount. I delivered all of my paperwork on Tuesday,June 11,2024 at the branch in ************. On Monday, June 17,2024, I was advised by a manager that my paperwork had been delivered th *********, Pa corporate office on June 12,2024. I was also advised that my payment will remain the same until it is processed. My problem is that eventhough I have no control of how long the third-party take sending it to the proper location. So I will still be getting penalized until then.

On 4/25/2024, I had the unfortunate experience of threats and ultimately the call being disconnected while in conversation with supervisor ******* regarding my mortgage loan application. This incident left me feeling unheard and frustrated. As a member of this credit union, I expect a level of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions, especially when discussing important financial matters such as a mortgage application. However, the disparities in treatment and the overall atmosphere of my interactions have left me feeling marginalized and discriminated against for these reasons listed below: During a conversation with a member regarding my mortgage loan application, I was subjected to discouragement and unwarranted insinuations regarding my eligibility for the loan product. I was met with discouraging remarks suggesting that I may not be approved for the loan, with insinuations that implied I should reconsider my application altogether. I was asked if I could provide a down payment for a product that is advertised as 100% financed, which contradicts the terms and conditions outlined in your institution's loan offerings. Staff made derogatory remarks regarding my credit history, mentioning collection accounts and accusing me of having a much lower credit score than what I actually possess. These comments were not only inaccurate but also highly unprofessional and demeaning. After requesting a copy of my credit report the institution pulled, I was misinformed they could not furnish my request and to contact the credit bureau instead, which is in direct violation of my rights under consumer protection laws.It concerns me that these incidents occurred within the context of my mortgage loan application process, and I cannot help but feel that my race played a significant role in the mistreatment I experienced. The discriminatory undertones of the remarks and actions taken by staff are unacceptable and have left me feeling marginalized and disrespected.

This is the worst credit union I have ever had to deal with. My *********** zelle me rent money got mad because I wouldn't give it back, did zelle fraud they took the money on a Saturday due the holiday on Monday I had to speak with security, they released my money back to me but told me i couldn't get my account back nor could I open an account with them Never Again. now I have all the proof in my phone where my *********** paid me for rent ,to send money to her son etc.. the security department never asked me for my proof and they fixed it so that I cant do an appeal . Now how can I get FRAUD when she sent me money???????? If I could give them a ZERO I would. Might i add I have had this account over 3 years never done anything wrong and I work for the City Of *******. Navy Federal Credit Union In ********** has ruined everything for me.

I had 9.57 in my account to send to my external account to pay a BILL that was on automatic withdrawal, and WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, Navy Federal canceled it and then applied it to my credit cards. I already have pending payment plans and applying 9.57 was not only against my will BUT ALSO A WASTE considering fees and interest...so that does not even take care of the credit card in any substantial way. This is NOT okay!!! I am already facing financial hardship and doing the best I can, which is NOTED on my accounts with Navy ******************** due to the calls I have made with them. I am doing my best to at least stay under 3 months behind on my accounts and show good faith to pay given the schedule payments NOTED on my account!!!!! I want my money back---it is the principal. What is the point of communicating with your bank and keeping the accounts from closing when they do things like this?!?!

I have been trying to add my wife to my joint checking account for over 8 months now. Back in August I accidentally tried to add her before her official name change took place. However, we have resubmitted all requested documents several times to include her proof of residence, marriage certificate, and drivers license which all reflect her married name. We have filed an appeal 3 times already and still nobody that works Navy Federal has been able to resolve our issue. We are very disappointed as I have always loved banking with Navy Federal up until now. We have no choice, but to go with another bank at this point.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I have banked with them for about 2 years and recently I got scammed out of a lot of money The scammer called from the Navy Federal customer service number and acted like they were a representative. They told me my account had been compromised and went through all the transactions. I believed them because I recently experienced a fraudulent charged and had to go to the branch to get a new debit card, they ended up taking a lot of my money out of an account via cash app and through my banking app. Even tried to apply for a loan!!! I was told my account due to it being compromised they were trying to investigate. Navy Federal claimed they sent me emails saying I was responsible for paying it back and I'm the victim go figure. Woke up on 05/18/24 to NF removing funds out my account. Jeopardizing my lively hood and my other bills coming out. I'm screwed out my money and to top it off 3 days before my vacation. Thank you, Navy Federal, for ruining my trip and not keeping me update but instead take almost 800 dollars out of my account on a Saturday knowing I won't be able to see any one in person until a weekday
