      If I could give zero stars I would I am a veteran and for 3 months now I have been trying to close my accounts.
      It is impossible to get thru to security department have been on hold multiple times for over an hour and had hang up.
      I got thru one time to a very unhelpful person who told me I needed to supply documentation and sent me a non working link to do so. The closest brick and motor is 2 hours away and they get terrible reviews.
      As I type this I have been on hold for 1 hour 32 minutes, all I want is my 40 dollars back. And security has locked me out of the app and online.

      As I get the alert someone was making an account I call in to report the fraud. As I'm on the phone with the fraud department all my money disappears they tell me there's nothing they can do just fill out the fraud packet. Online it says most members get money back within 24 hrs but it's gonna be 10 days for me. I have a business and employees to pay and kids to feed and bills that are due now not 10 days from now maybe. So I call to see if they got my fraud packet and was literally on hold for 5 hrs this bank is a disgrace and seriously need to close the doors with all their internal fraud problems.

      I am so upset and disappointed. My husband and I are trying to buy our first home and we were told that Navy Federal Credit Union will be able to help. So I decided to call since we do have an account with them to ask customer support about the homebuyers choice program and also about having a BK under us. Customer Service said and I quote WE DO NOT DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM APPLYING EVEN WITH BANKRUPTCY... LIES LIES LIES IT IS DISCOURAGING ?? WHEN YOU ARE DENIED FOR HAVING A BANKRUPTCY SO PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR A MORTGAGE LOAM UNTIL YOU HAVE HAD THIS BANKRUPTCY DISCHARGED FOR 4 YEARS. THANK YOU SAVE YOUR TIME AND CREDIT SCORE

      don’t know what else to do at this point but to write a review. Navy federal you have no idea how it feels to have your identity stolen and your bank account drained dry by a scammer pretending to be an sba Representative. I have went up to this branch and made many phone calls to get the issue resolved. I’ve been coming up to the bank since June 21 when this issue happened and at every turn your employees Millicent and Steven continue to turn me away after every attempt to get a fraud case opened up. They gave a very hard time every time I came up there. I had every last document saying what had happened to me with a case number from the lady who is now facing racketeering charges. You don’t understand that I haven’t been able to put food in my fridge, gas in my car and pay any bill for two whole months now because of this situation and now we are facing bills being stacked on each other and we have no of handling it but to continue to wait for this whole incident to be resolved. An issue that started June 21. I have faced so much heart break, mental anguish, depression from this whole ordeal especially from Steven who continued to not treat me like a member when I’ve been a member for over 15yrs now. I’m asking and begging people for food now to feed my family and that’s not right when I’ve never had to do that. I haven’t had funds to fill up my gas tank since June 21. We’ve been sitting in place working with the investigator to resolve the issue when at every turn on starting a fraud case Steven continued to turn me away. Five times. When on the phone I was told to come in to complete the fraud case only for Steven to send me away and not take any of the steps to help me. It’s Very discouraging and I have never felt so low from you all. I’m sorry Steven but this is not okay. My whole life , my whole family life has been in chaos because you refused to help us at every single point of me coming up there with a case number and evidence to help move this process for

      I have recently stared my business and wanted to open up a business account with NFCU. When i called to upload my documents the representative Summer asked "oh who are you catering to Veterans or everyone", i replied everyone because i cant help the veteran and not their family. I truly feel i was discriminated against in regards to my business. I then requested to speak with the Manager and Jasmine answered and put me on hold only to come back telling me that she was flagging my account and i would have to open up a whole new business. This was the worst experience i have ever had with a business. How can they ask such a question and penalize you for it and they continue to help veterans and their families. This is not right and i will not just stop here, i will continue to express my concern regarding this matter.

      I wish I NEVER opened (or attempted) to open an account. I "opened" the account with $10 and no problem. Received a welcome email and all. I tried to set up Direct Deposit but was locked out. I called Customer Service, only to be told my account was flagged for fraud! No prior notification from anyone! I was then told I had to speak with the Securities Department, only to wait over 2 hours on various attempts. This has been going on for about 2 months with no resolution. How can I fix the issue is I'm on hold and no one EVER answers? What kind of Customer Service is this, especially if you pride yourselves with helping Veterans. Unacceptable to say the least!

      Not sure if I would call this the Credit Union of choice, in spite of their reputation of being one of the larger Credit Unions in the marketplace. I just bought a car and this credit union had a much higher interest rate than 2 other Credit Unions that I researched. Needless to say I did not go with this Credit Union for my car purchase. Just today, I realized that my July statement was lost in the mail, so I did not pay my bill due 7/11. I have a very good credit score and for the last 2.5 years, my bills have been paid in full before the due date. This Credit Union would not credit me for the late fees and interest charges, since they claim that statements are available on line, and they are not obligated to make right when USPS messes up the delivery of their statements. My experience is that other companies would have considered that I am a very good customer, and forgiven the extra charges this one time. For these 2 reasons, I will no longer use their credit card. I am not recommending this credit union to anyone that asks me, and I am very dis\appointed that the Navy treats their customers so poorly.

      I had put my car in the shop and me and the warranty place paid for the same work and i kept sending receipts a numerous of times and the bank still don’t release my money (726.00)

      I’ve been a member for more than 25 years and since 2017, the customer service is like someone flushed a toilet. I got a text on 7/3/2022 about two suspicious transactions so I confirmed that they were not mine and messaged the bank. On 7/5, I departed VA for NY and logged into their app to update my travel preferences indicating I’d be out of town. On 7/15, while trying to pay for an oil change at Jiffy Lube, my debit card gets declined 3 times. After 2.5 hours of aggravation on hold, I reached a supervisor only to be told they could mail a new card to my home of record on file. Ahem, I’m on travel and you cancelled my debit card so I need one fedex overnight. Yeah, we can’t do that. What an inconvenience! So when I get home, I have to get a new card and login into accounts that autopay for. Few hours and update the card number. It’s my cash! You screwed me, again. You’re going to lose about 10 accounts. I’m out.
