  I cancelled my subscription in May 2022, in May 2023 they are still trying to bill our credit card and its been declined. Three times since Saturday 5/27/23. I called customer support on Saturday 5/27/23 and was told it was cancelled, yet card was billed on Sunday and Tuesday 5/30/23. Calling them during the week is a nightmare, because nobody answers the call. This is a horrible service provider that I didnt even use!

  "Pros" sent to do my job would only work an hour and leave. Only allowed 4 hours to do a 12 hour job. Contractors not qualified for job. Ended up doing the job myself.

  Honestly, I hired a maid and had to report this to ****'s list, who also did nothing, but the cleaner knew the exact square footage of my home, and nothing was CRAZY dirty. She had no supplies, and was mad about my vacuum, she couldn't mop because I didn't have one. She kept telling me what I needed for what. She didn't even get to my entryway, or make my bed. She left a bag of trash in my dogs bed. I had to hire Magic City Maids to come that night. She missed two rooms, and three bathrooms. My guest bathroom downstairs was ...my job to clean, and she didn't even throw out my trash. In the laundry room, she had just thrown a couple blankets in, and then left two bags of trash and two full trashcans. I can't understand why you wouldn't empty all the trash cans, my request said I needed own supplies and she said "supplies break at peoples houses and they're responsible", why she couldn't do literally more than just vacuum, minimal dusting in two rooms. It was just an all around poor experience. I tipped her, before I even went upstairs and saw that it was like hardly done. I got a scolding for buying the wrong vacuum. I was upset about the whole thing. Magic City did the whole apartment, two girls for the same price in less than 1.5 hours. This is three floors, three bedrooms, 3.5 baths - she knew that and quoted me for three hours then showed up and told me it'd be 5 hours. So it's a no from me. Also ****'s list should really be avoided, they did not address this at all, kept passing me along to other people, and wont reimburse me. FORGET ABOUT ANGI'S LIST. it's a failing business, they don't do any due diligence and won't rectify their mistakes.

  Signing up with Angie's list I thought would help my small disabled veteran owned business generate revenue. First month in using this platform I was charged an extreme amount for the leads that they sent. Most of the leads I would say 95% were not good leads, customers would not call you back, answer your emails and or would hang up on you. These leads are then charged to your account and billed weekly. You get opportunity's that you can select as an extra fee (Which is way more than the normal leads) a way to try to gain more business. Those leads you except on your end so you can hopefully sale a product or service to make up for the leads that they charge you for. Don't do that same bad leads and then you are charged even more. They don't give you any credits for the bogus leads and do Not support you as a small business. Charged $3,000 first month, billed $500. Not Worth Joining Save Your Money and try other avenues to generate revenue. Horrible customer service, and all they have done is taken hard earned money from my small company. Buyer Beware Angie's list is a joke, SAFE YOUR MONEY!

  i am a small business owner who has never advertised, gotten leads or used this business. They continually call my business number and will not stop. I have called multiple times. Today I was transfered 4 times and then disconnected.

  They use fraudulent false websites posing as local contractors, then once you reach out, spam you with dozens of applications from local business for months afterward. Don't use this service...

  I have been a member of Angie's List for 8 years. I used to be able to see a list of contractors that I am interested in and read the reviews, then decide who to contact and hire. Now, there is no list when I log on. I have to answer a questionnaire and give contact info (phone, email, address, etc.). Then I get calls from numerous contractors which I did not want to receive. My privacy has now been invaded. They no longer cater to the consumer, but to the commercial vendors instead. I would not recommend this service for consumers anymore.

  I had a guy look at my bathroom plumbing and he said I need a licensed plumber to fix the problem. ***** charged me $429.69 and didnt refund my money. The guy said he wouldnt charge me anything since he was there for 5 minutes and didnt do anything. I think I deserve my money back.

  I recently requested a plumber to give me an assessment of my sub pump that was not working. ****'s list asks for a description of the problem before matching you with a contractor. I indicated I may need a replacement or new sub pump but wasn't sure and therefore needed an estimate. They charged me in advance over $600.00 when the plumber came at the scheduled time, he assessed that the problem was a clog and no replacement was needed. I reached out to ****'s customer service to advise them that the charge needed to be adjusted since the sub pump was not replaced. I called 5 different times, and each time I received a different response. The last person I spoke to said I would be charged half the amount since I tried to cancel the appt....turns out they didn't pay the plumber the contracted rate but I got charged a price that would include the plumber's fee. **************** reps are not knowledgeable about the specifics, they have canned responses that are not intended to help the customer. I would not recommend using ****'s list, you are better off going online and searching on Yelp.

  Angie's list is scam . I have received countless fake leads which I am charged for . I went to cancel the service after 2 days and my account rep said he would wave the membership fee of ****** dollars just to prove this service works. I fell for it again hook line and sinker . After a week of receiving leads nothing become of them or again some were fake . I called me bank and my representative never refunded my money. So again I canceled a second time , and it took some convincing and fowl language before *****'s would cancel. 2 weeks later I am still receiving leads and angies list fraudulently charging me to my card on file. I HOPE THE GOVERNMENT STEPS IN AND SHUTS THESE SCUM BAGS DOWN. I have countless emails to.support my claims.
