  I own Delta Plumbing in ****** **. I subscribe to ***** List and placed a monthly budget of 500$ just to try them out.1st week my bill $1365.00 2nd week $1800.00 I called multiple times a week to dispute but there would always be reasons etc Again Monthly budget was $500 I urge all business owners to stay away from this service Also found out that the other companies that work thru Angies List charge double if not triple what the rates should Be. Please call Delta Plumbing before getting over charged

  called Home Advisor powered by **** on February 15 for refrigerator repair. could not come out till February 18th, charge of 345 dollars. We were never told the visit was just for diagnostic review. Service person arrived, he was very nice guy, he diagnosed our refrigerator and we were told the thermostat and a fan unit had to be replaced. He removed both items, we were told then this was just diagnostic visit not repair. He told us what to order( parts) we ordered them and had them put in, not by Home Advisor, the refrigerator is still not working. Diagnostic review was incorrect. Will never use this company ever again! May be that is why it is not BBB Accredited, because they are a horrible company. I would not recommend this company !

  I AM AN ELECTRICIAN. I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 2008. ANGIE'S LIST HAS BEEN CALLING ME TRYING TO GET ME TO USE THEIR SERVICES AND WON'T STOP CALLING ME. I HAVE ASKED TWICE AND THE CALLS CONTINUE. I AM GETTING TIRED OF THE HARRASMENT.

  Please read these reviews before committing to these sales reps. *** all a scam for you to pay them money for nothing. ****** started a landscaping ********************************* list found us in our first season when we were desperate for clients. They made false promises they never followed threw with. They said we would triple what we were paying to them monthly ($300). In the 3 months we paid them, we never got any contracts. We got maybe 2 calls in 3 ************* only wanted estimates nothing was official. The day my husband met up with those clients they were confused bc they said there was already a crew that came the day before stating they were our business & gave an estimate. My husband didnt have any workers at the time. Nothing about this was normal. When my husband tried to cancel the sales rep was no where to be found & customer service would not terminate the auto pay even tho they said we could cancel any time. There were several times when my husband would log in to the app, it was another members information. Their credit card ***************** name. When he tried to report that as well, no response from Angies list. We ended up having the cancel our bank card for the payments to stop coming off & now they say we owe them $600 even tho services canceled the same time the first payment stopped. Please save yourself the hassle. They are not here to help businesses. They just put you in more debt.

  I have a small cleaning co. I joined Angie's list for leads, so far in the 6 month since I joined I have NOT received one good lead. They gave me some free leads then when I got a lead ( which was not a valid phone number) they still charged my credit card. And when I asked for a refund they said ok but instead they gave me a free leads. In my opinion it's a scam and they pray on small business.

  They estimated Ice damm removal at $500 ,when 2 contractors looked at it they said it was way under priced. A third contractor said he would do it for $750 but wanted $350 down payment. Since he was from ******* I checked with Angie's list and the had him on their approved list. Needless to say I have never seen him or my $350 again. They should not be allowed to do business in this state if they claim they have vetted a contractor and are not willing to back it up! It's scary to think of haw many non legitmate people they have shared your personal information with.

  What an absolutely awful company in my opinion. How they stay in business is beyond me. I signed on with ***** leads but I ended up getting a bunch of terrible leads that you have to pay for even if you cant contact the supposed customer. Yes I got some jobs but to me its not worth the headache. My **** ******* also seems incapable of answering his phone or returning my voicemails which forces me to call customer service and that is a pain. I will be cancelling my services with them and will be much happier for it.

  Please do not and I repeat do not sign up for this service ***** ads is a scam they scammed me out of $600 and I have not gotten any good leads I've gotten repeatedly of a person that didn't have the money to get the job done. When the sales rep called me and was explaining everything he told me he would be there every step of the way in which he was not which I had trust in them because he sounded trustful which I should have better known they started out telling me that it was $400 a month and I instantly was like there's no way I can afford that and then try getting me to pay $300 a month and that they had all these jobs lined up and then I hesitantly still was like I don't know man then after 10 minutes on the phone with him selling himself telling me I'll be there the whole time and I'll after 2 months he'd be saying that I would b happy for signing up which now I am not because I have not gotten one job from this and then tomorrow I have to pay another $300 or I'll have their collections department harassing me the people that you deal with through Angie's List are very rude and inconsiderate and it's all for themselves it's almost like a wolf on *********** type of deal it sounds promising but in the end you're the one getting slammed so now I'm trying to sit here and contact people and I'm getting nowhere besides dealing with the rudeness of Angie's List customer support cuz all I want to do is cancel this and save my money that I do not have but they don't care as long as the money is coming in for them they don't care if you make your house payment your truck payment your daughter's birthday present they don't care keep the money going to them or it will be on your collections my best advice for you is to not make a deal with them you might as well make a deal with the devil cuz you'll probably get more they're lucky they even have the option to get a one star they don't deserve any stars

  False advertising bait and switch $19 offer when you call them they want $78
