  I revieved a cal from Angie's list at 16:02 Monday, *********** for 2mins 59 sec.Spoke with a rep/solicitor that wanted to know if I was still interested in leads for work for my business. I informed the rep that I have already asked the call center to stop calling me. The Angie's List solicitor became negative, then insulted me by saying " as a technical person i should know that i can unscubscribe in response to the emails i've been getting."I informed the rep that I have already done that, and it only stops the emails, not the calls. I have informed the rep that i have tried multiple times to delete my profile/account information from Angie's List. The rep then sarcastically claimed that since the phone call was unpleasant for them, that they could just as easily say that they will discontinue calling me, but then not actually employ the *** required Do Not Call functionality. I am still uncertain if I have been added to the Do Not Call list, as the conclusion of the interaction that I had with the Angie's List Rep was made moot by thier comment in closing. I would also like to point out, that I was civil, and respectful. It was only when the Angie's List rep isulted me, and proceeded to mock my profession, that I became agitated. I began the phone call by stating my rights as mentioned by the *** to NOT CALL me anymore, and pointed out to the rep that i understood it was not directly thier fault that i wasn't removed already, but that I simply wanted to make certain this would be the last time I had to request Do Not Call.

  If I could give this company a zero star I would. The first week of November, my mother had a small plumbing problem, and I did not know who to call. I got online and saw the **** advertisement and started filling out the online form, but stopped well before completion because there appeared to be no way to know who they would send to do the work. Emphasizing here: I did NOT even come close to completing filling out the form, made NO request for services, NO commitment, made NO appointments, and certainly did NOT subscribe to ****. Instead I stopped, got out of their website, got a recommendation from a neighbor and called a local plumber. However, within hours, **** barraged me with at least eight to ten messages and emails, including one that stated I now had an appointment for 7:30am on a Saturday for someone to come to my mother's home. I was able to stop that appointment, however, the messages and emails continued non-stop. The "representatives" began addressing them to "******", which is not my name, not even close. Each time I have either texted "STOP" as requested to stop these messages and texts, or let the person who is sending them know in no uncertain terms that I want them stopped, and have received several messages in return saying I am now unsubscribed from **** and will received no more messages or alerts. I NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO ANYTHING TO DO WITH ****. Nothing has stopped the continuous messages. Today is January 4, 2023, two months after the first messages and emails began, and I am still being sent these messages, and still being addressed by the wrong name. This has reached the level of outright harassment. I have tried blocking the messengers, and still they continue to send these. Whatever my opinion was before about this company, I would NEVER do business with them under any circumstances after this unceasing barrage of emails, messages and texts.

  Used this company and it was horrible! Got them for plumbing problem! They said estimate and fixing was ******! They came with nothing to work with ended up driving them to two hardware stores! Borrowed a tool that they took with them! Then said we had to cash app them ****** more dollars!DO NOT USE!!!!!!

  I signed up to use ****'s List Project to do a relatively minor house job. They quoted me a price and told me I won't be charged until job is done. In fact the app says that specifically. They also say they will "actively" find a pro to match your job. BOTH ARE LIES. They don't tell you if the appointment is a no show and you reschedule then your card will be charged. That's UNAUTHORIZED CHARGING. Also all they do is put your job on a posting and hope some pro bites. They'll say it has priority and actively matching you with a pro, but it's a LIE. In both my appointments for same job a pro was identified and both cases were NO SHOWS. I can just imagine their Happiness Guarantee is a BS too. I had two managers LIE to me about future monitoring of my job, and promise to send his personal email. The second one would not do it while I was on the phone, so obviously I knew he was LYING.I stopped the insanity and got my card refunded, but had this on going appointment setup continued with no shows, pretty soon it would have been past my billing cycle. VERY CLOSE TO A SCAM, certainly ZERO INTEGRITY. I thought True Green was bad, this is horrible. STAY AWAY from **** Project.

  I am a ***** pro / Handy and they are a rip off. Went to a job it was a no show I rung the bell no answer I texted the app it said call client and wait 30mins. I couldn't call app messed up. So I waited 33mins and then checked out but they denied my payment saying I was not there and I was late well I took pictures and they are time stamped so no pay got me and it not the first time at least 300 I. Hidden fees I want and need my money. They are on highway robbery

  Terrible service, had a pro that was to come out to the house between 11 and 1 and no one showed up, was given a phone number from **** to call my pro but number didnt work. Was told they couldnt track the contractor and they couldnt get hold of him. **** list was useless and I will never use again

  Contractors stay away!!!!! They continually charge your credit card after you have cancelled. The confirmation # is a bogus number that no other customer service rep can find. The reps lie & the rules regarding cancelling Change from one rep to another. Terrible!! They are suppose to be the one making sure customers get a reputable contractor but who watches them??? They are a scam I have called my credit card company for help because nothing works. I wish I could use zero stars

  I set up a business account with **************. I was promised ***** contacts in 3 months for $300/month, and if I liked the service I could continue at $300/month with an annual contract. Their contacts were all from out of state numbers with full voicemail boxes and would not respond to text messages (bots??). After 6 days of using their service I called to cancel. I was told that I would not get my initial $300 returned, and they were going to charge me an additional $1600 for cancelling my contract early. When I asked if there was a manager I could speak with, ******* ******* said "nope". I am very dissatisfied with this service and their so-called customer service.

  I am a professional house cleaner I run a business I pay a lot of money for these so called leads witch are not leads they are scams no one that I have received off Angie's list has given me nothing good I don't want to be in this contract with them no more I can't pay all this money for a 12 month contract for getting nothing but scams off these so called fake leads these are fake people wanting my services my business account is now frozen because of one of there so called people's checks got returned and now I'm in debt with my bank and Angie's list because they want there money too!!! This is ridiculous how I got my self into a company that is worthless they are not screening there calls and or doing anything to reimburse my loss !!!!!

  As a homeowner AVOID using Angie's list. They will hound you to death. I used them to find a plumber for a small repair and to look up handyman services. Now my phone, text, and email are getting blown up by them. Plus I am getting emails from Home Advisor who I didn't sign up with. They are also still giving out my information to plumbers 2 weeks after I had the problem fixed so I am getting calls from them as well. Wish I had checked their rating here before contacting them.
