I think Id say ********************** citizen. We need more option to get an electric power from another sources so we dont get hostages by this hawkish on human people here that they dont care about their own

If i could give this company 0 stars I would. I am being cross metered within my apartment. This process started on January 20, the lady I spoke with (****) to start this investigation was rude. She did nothing but blame me and tell me I was wrong about being cross metered for 2 hours and 15 min. Now five days in I have yet to get a case number, an investigator, I am still paying for the other units electric, the investigation is still in pending status. I was guaranteed someone was going to come out the other day and nobody called according to the associates I spoke with. They will give you a guaranteed date but not show up. The process is supposed to be 15 days Im not confident It be resolved by then. I was told I could email dominion but that can take up to 5 days for a response. I am coming up on 8 months of paying the other units bills. This company has terrible customer service.

I missed a payment due to fraud on my credit card in SEPTEMBER 2022. My bank issued me a new checking account and I was trying to pay everything that was associated with auto pay. When the eclectric bill came, I wrote a check - on my new account. It came back with a $20 charge and saying that I missed TWO payments and could only pay by credit or debit or cash somewhere. I have been trying to resolve this account since. Again today, I was on the phone for two hours trying to pay the bill. I explained that the fraud was for thousands and scary when someone can easily assess one's checking.... The third person wouldn't resolve the issue except to take payment. I'm relieved the huge (small home) bill is paid BUT - I will have to go through this same mind-bending, stress inducing headache again next month. I explained that I am an older person - I don't need this grief.

Terrible. If you ever have an issue make sure you have the name, date and time of the person who you spoke to!! I've been calling Dominion for the past month about a bill transferred to our account from a **** we were in for less than 24 hours due to the **** being an ADA **** (services were stopped on the account the next day after I called and the rep informed me I needed to complete it online), I've spent over 1 hour on the phone with a rep named ******* on 11/28/22 and the issue was to be resolved per him only to see on our next bill it has not been resolved and guess what?... There are no notes in the file, total bs. I spoke to a supervisor on 1/3/23 named ****** who said she would call me back after they pulled the call and I have yet to hear back. Another hour wasted, now here I am calling AGAIN to speak to another supervisor in hopes this issue will be resolved. I have never received such terrible service.

I missed 1 payment in 1 year bc my phone broke and new phone was mailed went to wrong address thanks to **** And I missed a payment not even 2 weeks late. Could not get in touch with a representative for 3 days. Then when I did they had cut off my lights. And no way to have back on other then paying 100% of bill plus a new deposit of $145 added to bill so while we the people struggle bc of inflation and coast of living we are being robbed by dominon energy, they do not care if you are a single parent they have no way to cut your power om with half payment or anything. I only owed $350 and made every payment for 11 months straight. And now I have to pay $539 to have lights back on bc of the deposit they added on top of my bill and they will not take it off they have that as must be payed also. So if not bad enough to struggle as a single parent. But thanks to dominon energy I can struggle a lil extra this month dominon energy is a horrible company. I had to give 1 star to give review. SMH as if the people are not struggle enough with +**** gas and the grocery store being up 27% on everything. We have dominon making sure they cut off power when not even 1 month behind. Literally missed payment on oct 25th lights cut off on Nov 7th. And it's my fault I broke my phone and I have ebill so did not get paper billing . But the fact they have no way to reconnect lights other then 100% plus new deposit is smh unbelievable horrible company.

Called to schedule my service to be turned off and was told it would be done. Condo sold and they did not turn my service off. They are trying to charge me for the month between the sale of the condo and the new owners turning the service on. I called to dispute the charge and was told they would pull the recorded phone call of me requesting the service to be turned off and come to a resolution. Conveniently they cant find the phone call after keeping me on hold for 2 hours and then they disconnected the call. Horrible company and horrible customer service. 0 stars.

We moved out of our apartment in March 2022, but received an electric bill for a period in April 2022 for that apartment. I called both Dominion and our leasing agency on May 16, 2022 to rectify the situation and have the bill transferred to the leasing agency. The leasing agency called Dominion in May 2022 to accept responsibility for the payment and were told that our account would be transferred to their name to make payment. In July 2022, we received a notice from a collections agency that the bill was past due. I called Dominion July 13, 2022 and was told that the leasing agency did call and accept responsibility and our Dominion account would be updated to reflect this change and we'd receive a confirmation email. My account was not updated and I did not receive a confirmation email. I called back on July 18, 2022 and was told that a ticket had been created to make this change and that it could take up to a billing cycle for the change to be made which would be either August 4 or 5. No change was made. I called August 8, 2022 and the employee told me she'd change our status so that collections wouldn't contact us and reached out to billing and we should see the change by August 12. No change was made. I called back August 15, 2022 and the employee said all she could do was to submit another ticket and she would have a supervisor call me back. No change was made and a supervisor never called. In September 2022, we received another notice from a different collections agency. I called back September 27, 2022 and was simply told that I needed to work directly with our leasing agency to get the bill paid. When asked, the employee said they didn't even have a ticket system and that she didn't have a supervisor for me to speak with. The issue is still outstanding after 4 months. I was told something different every time I called Dominion (which took 45 min-2 hrs per call). Dominion needs to set up clear procedures to resolve issues. Don't lie to people.

We purchased a townhome in *******. The previous owner had a Dominion Energy connection. We tried to start the service through the Dominion website, but it didn't work. After a number of tries with long waits over the phone, we finally talked to a Dominion Energy representative on Thursday and requested the new service. We were told effective Friday it will be done, but on Friday the power was cut. We called around 3 pm and at around 3:40 pm were told that we have to send 2 proofs of identification to leaseid@domenergy ASAP, and power would be restored right away. We wondered why their customer rep didn't mention that on Thursday. Anyway, we were outside at that time and had only one identity proof. So, we drove home and sent the 2 identity proofs within 30 mins. And then we called again around 4:40 pm. After a long wait, at around 5:15 pm, we were told they received the identities, the manager has created a ticket, and the power will be restored by the end of Friday. On Saturday, we went to the townhome, and there was no power! We waited, sweated, tried to report the outage via the website (which miserably failed), and eventually called around 4 pm to find out they won't restore the power until Tuesday (the next working day!). Now, we have to cancel the housewarming party on Monday (labor day). In the past, we have dealt with other utilities to obtain service. Usually, this kind of experience is associated with utilities in developing countries. We are surprised even in these modern times, switching on a connection takes so much time and effort!
