      Zero stars. 1.How can a public service company providing necessity for living arbitrarily cut off electricity that stops AC in 100 degree heat, internet, cooking, hot water without any notice in an account that is current for 30 years even if you missed one bill? Without internet how do you report outage? This is inhumane, no one answers CS calls and they don't call back. Fix this problem. It doesn't have to be a terrible company getting zero stars.2.How can a public service utility company arbitrarily discontinue your budget payment plan without notice and surprise you with a bill that is 4x more than normal? I am not interested in excuses. Make it possible to stay on budget billing once enrolled period. Make that available, Turn it on!3. Why is it once you discover this problem, you re enroll in budget plan, it cannot activate until you pay the current 4x more than normal bill??????? Again, I don't want to hear excuses. Turn it on!!!!!!! It's not like you are not getting paid the entire amount. Senior citizens and fixed income folks struggle to make ends meet. Turn it on... Make it work!4. Why is it you put a phone line for customer service but people have to be smart by not believing the message that no one is available to get a live person on the other end? Why when that person who finally gets on the phone cannot address any of your concerns? Online doesn't work either. Why do you bother? Why when you escalate to her supervisor, that person can only read from the provided text like a robot repeating that she has provided all the information available to you? Why is it when you hear the voice from the so called supervisor you get the distinct impression that she actually enjoys not being able to provide any service to you????? Why do you pay for these people? Or maybe they are robots, and you don't really want to hear nor address nor resolve any issues because you are the big monopoly and we have no choice but to suffer whatever dealt to us!!

      RIP OFF!! Apps dont work for online payments, returning payments causing late payments and marks on our credit scores ( mine WAS exceptional). Cant speak to anyone on the phone to make or correct payments ! The RIGHT hand doesnt know what the LEFT hand is doing!!! This is the most DISORGANIZED COMPANY I have ever dealt with!! It also took me almost 3 months to get my account straight when I had power turned on at my new home!!! Its a shame we are LOCKED IN with DOMINION ENERGY due to the Monopoly they hold in ******** Va. One either uses them or they have NO POWER!!!

      I called Virginia power for a transfer of service. I checked my email to confirm all was correct. The wrong transfer date entered, and noticed they charged me $260.00 deposit when I was told I'd only be charged $24.88 for service fee. I called back spoke with a gentleman, he updated the transfer date. He was conversing with someone by teams messaging and stated the deposit has been removed also. Long story short. It was not REMOVED! Called back spoke with supervisor, ******, in the midst of our conversation the call went DEAD! I have talked with three different reps., plus a supervisor that never took the time to call me back. I finally got *******, another supervisor. She apologized for all the inconvenience. She did not see anything noted by the previous people of the issue with deposit. She placed me on hold to review the account, returned to let me know she re-did the order and removed the deposit. I've had a day with DOMINION customer service like never before. I checked back, another rep stated only the $24.88 service fee showing applied. Just wish I'd gotten you earlier. Thank you *******! PS, Hopefully won't be calling back when I get my bill.

      Dominion does an awful job at transferring ownership of power at the time of a home purchase. We had scheduled to have power be turned on the day closing, however, they needed a copy of the deed to have power turned on. We signed our closing documents and deed on a Friday, and sent the deed over that day. They didnt begin processing the deed until the following Monday, and they have a 48 hr processing requirement that could not happen any sooner. This delay poses very severe health issues, particularly when its consistently 95 degrees, like it is now. Dominion needs a process where they can contact real estate agents like local governments do for utilities.

      This is a very predatory company. Do not sign up for their paperless billing. They will never actually send you a bill so that way you rack up late fees that they will not waive despite the fact you had no notification a bill was due. Then they make it incredibly difficult for you to actually pay them, anything to delay Satisfying your balance so they can keep adding more and more fees. At what point do we get to file a class action lawsuit?

      Dominion uses ***************************** for tree trimming, and does not appear to supervise this activity. This has been going on for years, with regular customer service reports to ********************. We use professional tree services almost annually. *** is the least professional, least knowledgeable, and most irresponsible tree service I have ever encountered. They make very deep V-shaped cutouts in trees, leaving them weak and vulnerable to split. They also create hazardous trees that are unbalanced or leaning. They appear to go far beyond what is needed. On top of this, *** routinely leaves tree debris in our yard and throughout the neighborhood including branches hanging from trees that fall afterwards.Our professional tree services have comment on *** created problems. Yet Dominion has chosen this company over and over again - knowing that it leaves debris behind, and damages the yards and plants of its customers. See the scathing Yelp reviews for ***, which reflect poorly on Dominion. The fact that Dominion continues to select *** is simply poor customer service. Tomorrow I will be bagging up more Dominion debris.

      I have an open situation with Dominion Energy related to automated bill pay and budget billing programs. In short, Dominion Energy has been made aware of the issues and more yet has failed to notify their customer base accordingly. This is a violation of Virginia Consumer Law. Paymentus is also culpable. Based on basic ****** search on national average, Dominion customer base and a simple formula, the impacted customer based is over 160K customers. Additionally, ******************************************* has violated their customer's privacy (failing to have an adequate QC program, mailing customer's information to the wrong party). This situation has been clearly known since 5/28 but allegedly occurred due to a systemic issue late 2023. The executive leadership team has been made aware directly via email and phone, however, they have not indemnified their customer base. Ongoing failure to make amends, offer restitution and seek preventative measure for this issue in the future, will result in notification to the Virginia ***************************** Federal Energy ********************** CFPB and Attorney General *************************' office.

      Horrible company. A bunch of thieves controlling American citizens and steal their pocket. It makes reason and unethical charges and you make one mistake and they slam you with funny charges. I have no idea how they won the contract unless they bribe somebody in the goverment to keep them in business, Terrifying reality that Americans are living under their control. They dont deserve not even a minus 500.

      Dominion sent a subcontractor onto our property to remove equipment with absolutely ZERO communication or advance notice. We walked into our fenced in backyard to find a man taking apart our AC unit. He was in an unmarked car with out of state plates. We called the police.

We have confirmed that a post card mailer was sent to the location in February 2024 to notify of the removal of the device. Also, the day of the removal a door hanger should be left on the door to notify we are there if no one answers the door at the time of arrival.       I made a payment arrangement using the automated payment system. Dominion did not uphold to the agreement made and claimed the call could not be reviewed due to it being made through the automated system. An agreement made on your behalf still needs to be upheld whether its automated or not! You choose to use this system as a option for payment for your customers. When an agreement is made between any business or customer it is the responsibility of all parties involved to keep the contractual agreement made. Dominion has refused to take responsibility for the error made and only offered options to pay again after I had already paid above the agreed upon amount. Furthermore my bill increased excessively almost triple the usual amounts. I requested that my meter be checked as it may be faulty. I was told that I cannot just request for it be checked. My bill this month is around $280, the bill in question is around $790. They repeatedly tried to convince me that it was the weather but an increase of triple my usual bill is extremely excessive and concerning. No space heaters or extra equipment used in the home whatsoever. Temp set to 70. A trip out to verify my meter is working properly is the least you could have done to put your customers mind at ease. This is a terrible company with sneaky tactics that treats you any way they want due to us having no other options but them. At the very least they should be held accountable for agreements made between them and their clients but nothing is monitored and no one helps. They know this and take full advantage of if. If there were any other company I could use for power I would. The Dominion Power Monopoly Of Virginia needs to be investigated.
