I ordered a $60 evap valve. They sent the wrong one and since i wasnt signed into my account they said they can only give me the value of the part $3. Scamming people for no reason is not okay. As a mechanic i will never do buisness with them again. Their loss. Even ************ was wayyyy more helpful with my return.Advance Auto Parts

Frankly the worst service I have ever received. Bought TWO bad batteries at this store. Had to have my car towed to a mechanic because it wouldn’t even unlock the doors the battery was so dead and the car wouldn’t jump (AAA tried). The man at the store was incredibly rude to me, spoke down to me as if I were incapable of understanding the complexities of batteries. Had to have the mechanic explain on the phone why it was showing “good” but when the car cranked up, the voltage dropped from 12.6 to 4.6 and that was the problem. He then scoffed at me and told me only the store GM could do a return on a battery. So I came back the next day at 7:45 am when she was there, but she then refused to return the battery staying store policy and couldn’t understand why I didn’t come back to have it replaced, as if I didn’t have to tow the car to solve the problem. I can’t just tow it to advance and hope that it’s the battery, I had to have a mechanic look at it and buy a battery from them so I could drive it. Now I have a battery that I can’t do anything with and I’m out several hundred dollars. When I explained that the employees told me that I could return it, she basically told me that that’s a bummer but refused to correct her employees mistakes. 0/10 will never shop here again. This wasted a week of my time, I didn’t have a workable vehicle for 4 days, AND I’m out hundreds of dollars. Rude employees and useless management unwilling to correct their mistakes, with obvious lack of training/knowledge on any employees part and no accountability. Multiple bad batteries back to back. I purchased a started there for my vehicle in October now approximately 90 Days later the starter was not functioning properly causing damage to the flywheel in my vehicle. I had it removed and returned for replacement. Now 9 days later the same thing is happening. I have spent $300.00 on mechanic labor and now I have to do it again ?! I called their "customer service complaint line" and realised it is basically a powerless vent line. They will do nothing to rectify their terrible service by selling horrible quality ******** parts.Advance Auto Parts

I placed an online order from Advanced Auto Parts on 12-29-24. The order was for lower control arm assemblies, both driver and passenger side for my 2018 Toyota Tundra. The manufacturer of the lca assemblies was Moog. I used the order to home option as they were not available local for that brand, with estimation of 3-4 day arrival time on site when ordered. I used my PayPal account to pay for the order and DID receive a verification email from PayPal. I waited, but never received a verification email from Advance Auto Parts, nor a shipping/tracking number...EVER. I placed a call to customer service on 1-2-25 with no record of my order according to representative. I told him I had a PayPal transaction ID number and it was processed. He put me on hold then came back to say he found my order. I requested the order verification number (which I was emailed), and also requested an estimated ship date and arrival. The representative could not give me an ETA, but was quick to offer me a refund. I explained that I did not want a refund, I NEEDED THE PARTS. I found it odd he could not give me an estimated ship date, so I pushed on, pressuring him for an answer. He reported that it was to ship from one of their "stores" in TN. After pressuring further, I was put on hold so that the rep could "call that store location to see when they would ship items." He came back and said he'd have to send them an email because" they did not answer. I HAVE THE REFERALL NUMBER FOR THIS CALL. I then placed another call to customer service on 1-7-25, still with no return email or arrival ETA from Advance. I again talked to customer service who could give no useful information, and again offered a refund, with no ETA. Now finding out maybe it was "shipping direct from manufacturer." Again, I explained I was more interested in receiving the parts, not a refund or an offered "$25 online order credit" for my inconvenience. My order still shows in process, and have yet to receive further contact.Advance Auto Parts

Okay, so I went in the store( **** ** ** ********** ********* on Oct. 15. 2024 to purchase windshield wipers. They sold me the Onyx (1) passenger & (1) drivers wiper, she had a hard time putting them on, so I asked if they were the right ones, she said yes! I'm driving down **** **. this am in pouring down rain & the passenger wiper comes right off the CAR! Well, I only work 1.08 miles from Advanced, but I had to use them to get to work cause I COULDN'T SEE!! It scratched my windshield on the passenger side, so as soon as I got to work I called Advanced, they said come by & we will take care of it. So I went there, they replaced BOTH WINDSHIELD WIPERS BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T THE RIGHT ONES!! Then I asked about my windshield & he told me a bunch of bulls--t & said, Well we don't know how you drive , or what you've been doing with the car, so we're not responsible, WHAT?? What does the windshield wipers have to do with DRIVING THE CAR!! I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MY WINDSHIELD BECAUSE THEY PUT THE WRONG ONES ON TO BEGIN WITH & THAT'S WHY ONE FLEW OFF & THAT'S WHY THEY REPLACED THEM BOTH!! IF THEY WOULD HAVE PUT THE RIGHT ONES ON, NONE OF THEM WOULD HAVE FLOWN OFF!! SO THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY WINDSHIELD, I'LL SEE THEM IN COURT!! I DID NOT SCRATCH MY OWN WINDSHIELD, IT WAS THEIR NEGLIGENCE OF PUTTING ON THE WRONG ONES!! I HAVE TO USE MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS IN THE RAIN!!!Advance Auto Parts

I will NEVER use advance auto parts again ever! I returned an item today with a receipt. When item was purchased it was purchased with a debit card. Same as cash, they received payment immediately not paid by credit. The employee who waited on me could not explain why my refund has to be a refund to my debit card and why I didn’t get the courtesy of immediate use of my funds like the store did when I purchased it. In fact he didn’t bother telling me it would take 5 to 7 days to get money credited back to my acct. that’s ********! It was cash not credit! Put me in a bind. Up to this point I’ve used advance for all my automotive needs but after today never again. 5 to 7 days to refund cash is ridiculous. This was specifically the store on ********!Advance Auto Parts

My washer blade came off of my passenger side. I took it back up to Advance Auto Parts. The young man by the name of Joe came out with me to put it back on. He was very nice and very professional.
