      I went to the eye doctor on May 16, 2025. After my appointment I was told my balance was $98.43 even tho I have health insurance and I have been coming to this doctor for years and all I ever paid was$20.00. I asked why the receptionist was rude didn't really explain why. I just received a statement from my insurance company. They paid $97.46 and my responsibility was $20.00. Why was i charged $78.43 more than I was supposed to pay? I think I am due either a refund or an explanation as to why I was charged so much.

      I have been going to My Eye Dr on ***********, *******, ** for over 25 years before it was My Eye Dr. I go there because of the excellent service from ******, the eye glass fitter and all of the physicians were excellent. I had the worst experience with *******, the manager today. She is rude, unprofessional, argumentative and not knowledgeable of insurance. I have never encountered such disrespect from anyone as I did today. I have an inflammation from dry eye and have a follow-up appointment with **. ******* in 2 weeks, she is thorough and very kind. But, I must find another ** because I will not step foot into that place unless ******* quits or gets fired. Having an eye issue is stressful enough, cannot have any more negative encounters with this rude woman.

      Was charged for glasses, contacts, and eye exam 3 months ago. My insurance covered a good amount, I paid over $400 out of pocket that day. I get a bill this week saying I owe $168. It's stating only $202 was paid. My credit card company has sent over the transaction showing I paid this already. But now they are lying and saying I owe money. False accusation. So what are we going to do to solve this problem?

      Do not close; this is for central office ** ******** office in ********** VA has staff shortage for months ; walked in on May 2nd to replace defective longchampglasses , they said they could replace bc I paid for insurance in Dec. Need central office to call manufacturer to order frame and lens asap , staff is very busy so need central office to place order bc no status update sine 5/2 after calling. I will not be returning for eyewear in new year

      I went to My Eye Dr on 10/19/2024 to buy glasses. The tech was helpful and walked me through my insurance coverages and what I would pay out of pocket. The amount out of pocket that I paid was $80, which was for the remainder of my frame cost ($55) and my copay for polycarbonate ($25). The only other thing I got on my glasses was the STANDARD anti-reflective coating, which is covered by my insurance. Now, My Eye Dr is saying that I owe $70 for PREMIUM anti-reflective coating that my insurance requires a $70 copay for. I did not receive premium anti-reflective nor did I ask for it. I contacted My Eye Dr months ago and even had a three-way call between My Eye Dr, my insurance, and myself. My insurance showed that I was being charged for premium anti-reflective, and My Eye Dr showed that I only received standard anti-reflective. My insurance stated that the bill was input incorrectly and thus I was being charged incorrectly. At the time, My Eye Dr said they will put my account on hold for 30 days while they preform an inside investigation. Now, months later we are back where we started. I would like My Eye Dr to fix their billing issue and cease contact with me.

      The manager names ***** doctor and staff at myeyedr are unethical. My glasses prescription doesnt expire until June. I had glasses made here in April. The prescription seemed to give me headache as it was too strong so I wanted to change it which requires just a recheck. The manager and the doctors kept pressuring me to get an exam. I didnt need an exam as my prescription is still valid. I just needed someone to double check the glasses they made and just adjust the right lense. They refused to give me a refund on the lenses or do a recheck for me to check my glasses. The only option they kept giving me was to get an exam, even though Im not due for an exam for another month or so.

      I am rejecting this response because: the doctors and the managers pressure you at this office to do exams even when your prescription hasnt expired. Thats not very ethical, especially on the doctors part. This must be changed and handled better.

      I went to the MyEyeDr location in ************. I had a good experience with the doctor who was fine & the person who checked my eyes and things changed with the sales *** when it was time to pick my glasses she said I had great benefits and said I can get 2 pairs for a minimal cost. After she went to the computer she kept saying the numbers were pulling up incorrectly then she said she "fixed it". She said it was over $500 after *************** can take my card. I asked her why am I paying $500 what did the insurance cover. She could not answer and said it covered most of it. I told her remove the glasses & just downgrade it to 1 pair. After that she said she was still having issues. She started saying she has to "manually" add all of the information as the computer wasn't doing it correctly. She came back & said the $99 pair of glasses I requested now would cost $326.44. I asked her how did it go so much she said that the insurance didn't cover the lenses and fitting. Afterwards she charged my card & folded up the paper that she said was my prescription & put it in the envelope & said I can pick up later on 6/6. Then she closed the store directly after I walked out. When I got in my car I checked my "prescription" and it was a bill where I was charged for so many different upgrades I didn't ask for. One of them was $147 for grey polarization. I never requested that. She also added $30 insurance on the frames I was not aware of that. $49 for back AR side coating. $55 for I cost silver flash. I have never in my life written a BBB complaint. I need a full refund this is unacceptable and unethical practices. I do not want glasses and will not be returning to MyEyeDr again. I request to refund me this is unacceptable I'm very concerned about the practice here. I will NOT be picking up the glasses I DO NOT want them.

      Horrible experience all the way around. First time the doctor got my eye prescription wrong. Went back tried again and weeks weeks weeks later my glasses came in. Then my glasses were crooked and they were too busy to fix them. The *** said I would have to wait 30 minutes or come back when somebody else could bend them in shape. Later on I get a bill in the mail saying I owe money. I take it up there. They say no that was just an account error it came back off. Some weeks later My daughter gets a bill as well. Same thing what the insurance didn't pay we paid in cash. Local office says just ignore it same thing it should go away. Well I ignored it. Then I started getting phone calls and I answered the phone calls and your service **** do not say anything to me. I tried to answer over a dozen calls from y'all. Every time you call I answer and nobody says a word to me. It became to the point where it was like harassment everyday. I was getting multiple calls and answering and nobody talking back to me. I even called back and try to talk to somebody about the issue and was rude and immediately told me that I was being recorded and I should be careful what I say and not to be hostile I couldn't deal with his attitude so I hung up cuz I was not even hostile. He is telling me I am being rude because I'm upset because I've got numerous calls everyday and was unavailable to talk to anybody. Basically I can't get anybody on the phone and the location told me I didn't owe anything. Your company called me a million times and I answered and every time I was not able to communicate with anybody which is Ludacris now I'm starting to get random phone calls from collection agencies so I'm pretty sure you ***s passed it on to a collection agency when I didn't owe you anything in the first place. Complete horrible experience. Spent all kinds of money out of pocket and from the insurance to get harassed by you my prescription still wrong and my glasses are bent.

      I ordered glasses over 2 months ago, 1 pair came back the other wait for second pair was over a month, so I cancelled and ordered another pair, now its been 3 wks and no delivery. I called and was told expected date of 5/16/25 however that wouldnt be correct because the guy that does the glasses wont be bck until 5/20/25 and ts nothing they can do. Well this is absolutely unacceptable, I have been going to the same location for 8 years always purchasing high quality glasses each year running amout is about ******* or more, seriously this is disguisting for anyone to have to bare that must wear glasses reguarly, Does anyone care ?????????????????????

      I ordered new glasses at the end of 2024. I paid my order in full at the time of purchase. I picked up my glasses around 4-6 weeks later, early 2025. I then received an invoice in the mail for $75, no explanation of the additional charges. Now they've sent me to a credit collector for that $75 because I did not pay. But they've also failed to give me a detailed explanation as to what the additional charges of $75 are for. I've never been charged additional monies after the purchase and pickup of my glasses and I've been wearing glasses for many years. I have an 830 credit score, I pay my bills but you cannot charge someone after the purchase is complete additional money and not give them an explanation on what the charges are for.
