      This company is a nightmare to deal with. Had the misfortune of my bank over-paying them by a significant amount (extra zero!) for my mortgage. While they have acknowledged that they have received the money, have received notice from me both verbally and in writing that it is an error, and state that they will gladly reverse the overage...they simply don't do anything. It's been weeks and multiple calls and I'm no closer to having the money returned than when I started.
      It's either extreme incompetence on their part or a deliberate attempt to discourage/dissuade me from getting my money back. They still haven't been able to email me the necessary form they claim I need to fill out - and - each time I speak with them they give themselves a full WEEK to resend me that email. A week!!
      At this point I fully believe it will take working with a lawyer to get them to return the money. How they have an ** ****** with the *** is a serious mystery!!

      If I could give them zero stars I would since one of their employees didn't read my paperwork they only paid my flood insurance didn't pay my homeowners insurance then gave me a way more expensive insurance after not paying the insurance I already went with now I have to get quoted elsewhere and they have me fix their mistake that they won't even own up to terrible don't do business with them

      There was an alleged lapse of insurance coverage.
      It has taken me at least 8 hours of my life to finally get the proof submitted, get the refund to my escrow account, which is now with another servicer - so no refund yet...

      This place is the worst. I was grant a Federal mortgage assistance program called **** *** *****.which is NOT a deference. It’s is straight assistance from the federal government if you were affected by Covid. Long story short, I was granted the money but the program specifically states while you’re in the program your credit will not be affected. The whole time I was in the program unfortunately, loan care reported all the months late even though they were eventually paid through the program. When I call lawn care about this, they’re requesting me to send them copies of my credit report proving that they reported it late. What a run around all they have to do is see that they reported it late and fix it but instead they would rather me jump through hoops hoping I will just drop it. They’re also very difficult to get on the phone. Steer clear.

      Do not recommend for your loan. Their processes are not sufficient and cause issues for the borrower. Wait times for representatives are ridiculous and most times they are not equipped to handle your concerns.

      Absolutely horrible company to deal with. They lose track of my mortgage payments and then tell me it’s my fault. Now they put me on a 6 month probation period and tell me that I can only send certified funds. Lol…. I send them my mortgage payment and spent even more money to send it through ******* *****. A week later I call them. Nope, we didn’t receive it. I sent it to the exact name that I was told to send it to. Now I have to try and get my ******** bucks back and they still haven’t received a payment. It’s so **** up that I almost think this is being done to me on purpose. Nobody that answers the phone has a clue on what they are doing. 10 years so far on paying my mortgage and never had any issues. Now it’s all out in space just floating around. Yesterday I was told to file a complaint at “paymentresearch@my loancare.com”. Can’t find that website. Nothing comes up. Painful…. That’s all I got. Steer clear of this company. You’ll be happy that you did.

      If I could leave a lesser rating than 1 star, I would. This mortgage company CONSTANTLY creates issues where there shouldn't be. Everything from losing our insurance check which we had sent them for endorsement, to literally losing our mortgage payment... to which they responded that it's not their fault for "reasons". There have been many, many other issues; these are just the two most recent. If you're considering LoanCare [or an affiliate] for your loan, and you happen to come across this review... please DO NOT use them. You WILL regret it.

      My loan got transferred to this company without any choice on my behalf. They didn't pay our home insurance despite it being escrowed and now I have to pay a $*** fee to get it reinstated. Been dealing with this for three hours, whole workday is gone and no one still has any answers at LoanCare. Can't wait to pay off my house and be done with them. Scammy company!

      I have been with LoanCare for years.I have Direct-Deposit and have never had a late or missed payment. My mortgage was ***, however the *** payment was removed about a year ago.after 11 years of payments on time. My experience with LoanCare has been positive and very easy on me personally. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LoanCare.
