      This company came around in Somerville with great deals. Unfortunately, the product is terrible. Not only is it nearly impossible to see upcoming recordings, twice a week I have to restart my modem due to poor download speeds. I never had ANY problems with **************** I can't wait to drop this hot potato. Definitely not worth the savings.

      This cable company does not have an online presence for communicating with customers. This company charges for tech calls when issues arise with their services. When an appointment is made for a problem with their service there is no mention of a service charge involved by the employee who arranges the appointment. This outfit needs to properly train their employees at their call center in ************** of the policies surrounding this companies services.Beware of false and misleading services from this company.

      I have had 4 techs out to my house in the past month because of no internet. Realize that each time Astound schedules a tech it takes at least 3 to 4 days before a tech can come out. Our internet has now been down for 5 days. The tech was out today and could not find the problem. Guess what? We have to wait for another tech. I have spent countless hours with your customer service They frankly are the worst I have ever dealt with and are unwavering in their inability to assist. They just dont care. I have been a Wave customer for over 18 years and have never been treated so poorly. If we only had an alternative to Astound, we would switch in a heartbeat.

      Horrific ****************** we were out of town and came back to a call from our short term renters that the cable and internet weren't working. Thought it must be a technical issue. Called customer service and after 10 minutes of winding my way through the phone tree, finally spoke to customer service. Turns out ******************** had turned off my service though my payment was just 4 days late. Unbelievable! What about a grace ******** Then they argued that they'd not disconnected the service but just disabled the service! Isn't that technically the same thing given that you can't use the service under either/ both conditions?AND they are charging a $40 reconnection fee I can do nothing about.I'll be checking out other options for my services but in the meantime wanted to warn any potential customers considering this company.

      I'm sorry to say that our area is serviced by a provider that does not care about public safety. 911 was called twice to my location because of a downed cable wire. A wire that Astound had fixed earlier in the day. On my second call I was assured that it would be fixed last night August 24th. Here we are midday August 25th I have called again only to be told that there is no possible way to fix this public safety issue of the cable laying on the ground until tomorrow August 26th. On the second visit from the fire department they asked us to call a sound cable to get this fixed immediately right now that day. I conveyed this message for my phone call more than once to the company and they showed no concern at all. So it took me on my third phone call five request to speak to a supervisor who was absolutely useless and maybe made powerless by his own company as to resolve a customer issue that is a public safety issue to kids dogs anyone who might come across this power line AKA cable line I am unaware how many of us don't have internet on this block but I'm hoping for my request that they are all issued a credit I'm not sure that that is going to happen. They do not deserve to have the clientele that they have however they're a bit of a monopoly and not much else available in our area I'm sorry to say.

      Our internet keeps going on and off. Yesterday it went out 147 times in a 24-hour period.Even though the problem was at their end, they said it was our fault and they would send someone to correct the problem. And charge us $80.We are an immune compromised household and told them that the repairman must wear a mask.He showed up with no mask. I said, "you have to wear a mask to come in."He said, "No, I don't". I said, "I can't let you in without a mask."He said, "I don't think I have one. It's been months since I've worn one."I told him I would give him one and he stomped back to his truck and put on a mask.He was extremely rude the whole time and didn't seem to know much about the equipment he was supposed to be checking. He kept mansplaining how cable equipment works on the computer to my husband who is a computer expert. My husband didn't say much. He said there was no point in arguing with someone that dumb.

      Horrible customer service and extremely deceptive pricing strategies for everything. My **** went up $60 in one month and the only explanation was that my initial subscription rate had expired?? What does that even mean? Trying to get answers from the customer service reps is a game of dodgeball. We had severe outages for six days when one of their network switches had burned up. When I called cust service they assured me credit for service would be applied, but next billing cycle, no credit. When I chatted to them about that they told me it would take one or two billing cycles to show the credit, so I asked what credit exactly are you applying so I know to look for it, she said she would email it to me and then mysteriously she disconnected from chat. We really only have one option for internet here and we're stuck with them. Their practices are deceiving and manipulative. I would give ZERO stars if possible

      They refuse to honor their flyers and their flyer promotion. Bad customer service and I even sent a picture of flyer. A month and a half before flyer expired. I wouldn't suggest this option. I quit Xfinity for Astound and now back with CenturyLink THANK GOD!!!

      I called 3 times. I emailed a copy of flyer. 3 calls later no deal, won't honor your flyer and refuse to lower ****. Thank you but no thank you. I switched to CenturyLink cause NO PROBLEMS with their service or billing! You did NOT honor your flyers and bad customer service.

      THE WORST PROVIDER of any service on the planet!!! I have had 2 separate experiences with Wave Broadband. Changing the name to Astound will NOT change anything!!!!! The service works less than 50% of the time. All customer service and tech support is essentially non-existent (even to cancel service when you move) since you have to spend 2-3 HOURS (let me say that again... HOURS) on hold just to talk to anyone; and they have no call-back system, so you literally have to wait on hold for HOURS!!! When you finally do get through (if you havent died first), the first response is, "you must have done something wrong." If there was any way to give a negative rating, I would give this company a billion negative ratings!!! Absolutely THE worst company I have ever dealt with in ANY industry EVER... I'm 75 years old!!!!!!! If you have a choice, ANY company would be better... even ******** and they are not good. If you consider living in a community that requires you to use Astound, go live somewhere else. The aggravation is NOT worth it!!!!!!

      Astound boasts great customer service. The only thing I liked about speaking to customer service was the agents were not from a foreign country. I could understand what they said. Aside from that I am in Washington. The call center was in *********. An Astound repair person was working on service in our area 4x in 6 days. For a short time before he showed up and during the time he was up the pole our phone internet and tv was out. That tells me the outage was reported and a service person came right out. I thought that was great. The last time he was out when he left our service remained off. We checked the neighbors and everyone had service. I called tech support. I reached a call center in *********. I asked for local contact and was told there was none. I would be scheduled for a call back which came the next day. I explained to the man on the phone as I had explained to the LV agent that this had nothing to do with our equipment or service that it was at the pole and our service had to be reconnected at the pole. I was scheduled for a service call 2 days later. We were without service for 4 days and it took 5 minutes for the service guy to plug us in after he showed up with a box full of wires and tools and was at our door with a mask wanting to come in and check our service. This makes me extremely angry. No one listened to a word I said. I have paid Wave hundreds of dollars over the past 10 years and now I'm paying Astound and I can't even contact anyone in my area. Or anyone with a pulse. What happened to customer satisfaction and pride of service. This is outragous.
