    On 7/23/2024 I paid *********************** in ******, ** $546.60 in physicians' fees online, calling up their suggested website of *************************************. A link for Doxo came up first in line, stating that they were for medical payments, so I clicked on that. I used my debit card to pay $546.60 plus Doxo's fee of $19.74, as per my bank statement. On 9/10/2024 I received a final notice from ************** stating that the bill had not been paid. As per their statement, Doxo paid the money to a Connecticut doctor's office, ******************, who cashed their check on 8/8/2024. I am not a patient of ******************* and have never been there. My last e-mail from Doxo on 9/18/2024 claimed that they were "investigating" my claim. They have not been in touch since, and will not return my phone calls. I contend that Doxo accepted my money, using Geneva's account number on their correspondence, and paid the wrong provider. If they won't pay Geneva General directly, I want Doxo to refund the money I paid them so I can pay my doctors. I am currently searching for legal help for this obvious negligence on Doxo's part.

    I am rejecting this response because: I do not recall the confirmation email doxo is referring to. They still posted that link to their own website when I originally tried to access Geneva General's third party ******, which was misleading to begin with. Also, doxo and their representatives have no right to dictate whether or not I contact BBB or any other party about this matter.

    I was paying my sons tolls and E-Pass requires you to pay thru ********************** and when you are redirected to the website, I paid the fine and the fee charged at the time of payment. Today I noticed a $5.99 charge on my account and one phone with the bank we discovered that since January 1, 2024 every first of the month every month. $5.99 x 9 months = a total of $53.91. ********************** has been withdrawing from my account. I called them and they said it was subscription which i never agreed to. Why would a subscription be necessary for a onetime payment. I requested a refund in a check since i had to close the card. I was denied a full refund.

    In regards to the $5.99 fee, this was due to your selection of enabling doxoPlus upon completing your payment to E-Pass - Non Customers Paying for Toll Violations on January 31, 2024. doxoPlus is a monthly subscription that provides five safeguards for secure bill pay, including identity theft protection, credit monitoring, private pay protection, and more. This can only be enabled by the customer.  

    According to our records, you contacted doxo Customer Support on October 1, 2024. Our agent assisted you in canceling and refunding your doxoPLUS subscription for the past 4 months, in accordance with our policy, totaling $23.96.     I was trying to pay an amount to NC QuickPass. I googled the information and it took me to a website that had all my info. The charged me $6.00 for the service. I paid $897.21. The money was withdrawn immediately. I went to the *** to clear up my registration issue and they said I still had a balance owed to NC Quickpass. I called and that when they informed me that many people mistakenly go to this website make payments but they arent affiliated with NC Quick-pass. I called Doxo and was told it would take several weeks to get my payment to NCQuickPass. What are they doing with the money that it should take so long to process? I feel cheated and angry that this continues to go on ensuring people continue to get cheated. I know what to do what about and how to resolve things for myself but what abt the people who dont?

The selected ****** only accepts payments by check, which results in a longer delivery time, pending ***** compared to other payment methods.     this company allows random users to register as another entity. opening up to scams as people can be tricked into paying their bill through a fake page. absolutely criminal.

    As previously discussed over the phone on September 19th and the 23rd. doxo is a legitimate independent bill pay company.  doxo provides users with one of the largest bill pay directories  for their regular household bills using one simple secure login. 


    Billers are added to the doxo directory based on user feedback and suggestions.  There are multiple verification steps to determine each ****** is a legitimate business before being added to the directory. doxo is a safe and secure location for users and billers alike.  


    doxo does not have an agreement with **** ****************** The doxo website specifically mentions this throughout the payment process.  Since we have no affiliation with **** ***************** the agreement doxo has is with the user.

    9/16/2024-recurring every month for $5.99. Its a doxoPlus subscription that we never signed up for. They do not have our name associated to any account and tell me they cannot cancel the subscription. They seem to have 2 other names associated with this account but i do not know who they are. . I have no idea why im being charged. Doxo said they cannot cancel subscription and that I would continue to get charged. ive already disputed the charge with my bank. However, I do not want to keep getting charged. And if they are doing this to me, how many other people are unknowingly affected? It is there company. they should be responsible for their subscriptions. I want to file a formal complaint so this doesnt happen to anyone else

    I was duped into signing up for doxo to Pay my energy bills a few months ago. Since then I dont receive bills from ********** I get notices from doxo. I always pay ********* directly. Never use doxo.Now I cant access my ********* account directly. ********* shows old email address that I no longer use and cant access.I am trying to delete doxo. Its been impossible to do so and doxo requires a $14.95 cancellation fee. But will not accept my credit card. They also require that I send a cancellation letter to their main office which is in ******** I believe but it wont print.

    On May 31, 2024, ************************* came out to treat some trees on my property. I was sent a paper bill shortly after. However, I also received an email from what appeared to be ************************* but via Doxo. Thinking this was legitimate, I set up the account for ********************** and paid $144.94 total (included some fee for payment) on July 1 only to find out the next day that ************************* does not utilize a third party vendor for payments and to date, payment made to Doxo has not been received by *************************. I have since cancelled my credit card ending in 1357 and attempted to resolve through my bank (US Bank) used due to the fraudulent nature of this company to no resolve. I paid ************************* directly by phone using my debit card ending in 8548 on 7/3/24.

    On September 3, 2024 at 5:22pm, I contacted Doxo customer service via their Online Chat and spoke with Jhel who assured me an electronic payment was sent to ************************* on July 8, 2024 and that they would email proof of payment clearance in 48 hours of that date to my email address with doxo: ****************************************************************************. 

    To date, proof of payment clearance has not been received via email nor has ************************* received said payment upon inquiry with them directly on August 28, 2024. 

    Please reopen my case against Doxo for further inquiry as to the clearance of payment and receipt from **************************

    What we are stating is that Doxo did not send in proof of payment to  us as requested within 48 hours of asking but they submitted after you already closed our claim. The proof of electronic payment does not reflect on Daveys end and I will forward you their official statement. This company did not complete their part in the transaction and only debited from my father's account to which ******* provided provisional funds back to my father again AFTER Doxos statement to you and my father which is inaccurate according to *****. Please see separate email statement from ***** to include in rebuttal.

    A payment from a Doxo website was not received here at **********. Doxo is not sponsored by or associated with Davey Tree at all. They are some kind of website that people use sometimes to make payments, and they claim they would send us the payment, but we have never received payment from them. They appear to be a scamming website that we have tried to get out to our customers that they are not associated with us.

    On September 9, 2024, a dispute was filed with your card company, which prevented doxo from taking further action until the dispute was resolved. On September 18, 2024, the dispute was resolved in doxo's favor, and no refund is owed by doxo.

    3/27/24 I made a credit card payment through doxo to ABC Waste Disposal. I did not notice this was for the company in *** 6/6/24 I received notice from ABC in ************ IA that my account was delinquent. I showed proof that I paid but they pointed out that this was in ** & that they do not do Business with DoXo. I called ABC in ** & explained the **************** said I would have to call Doxo. I have made numerous calls & sent numerous emails. My emails are not answered & the answer from the phone calls is they are working on it. I do not get any resolution.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, however I had called ABC Disposal twice after Doxo told me that payment was sent on 3/29/24 & they could not find payment. That is when I emailed Doxo 4 times & Spoke on the phone several times to *********************************** & ****** & was told they were working on it. ABC changed systems which is why they couldnt find the payment & now have. Doxo should have responded to me so that I understood what was happening & that they were not working on the problem.

    I made two transactions with doxo to pay my auto car loan one was for $4,999.00 and another for $364.04 however both transactions were canceled right after and supposedly refunded. Doxo claims they never took the funds out however they did and never returned the funds. The transaction was pending in my account now its been posted so theres no way the transaction was canceled and refunded or the funds would have never left my bank account so Im afraid after reading reviews that I was scammed for my money

Please note that doxo processes refunds immediately, but your card issuer may take up to 5 business days to process the refund back to your account.
