I purchased $46.08 in ethereum from a coinme machine. I then followed the instructions on my receipt to redeem. I went through the app and attempted to verify my identity and had several errors. I tried again online and was then told that crypto was not available in my area and to reach out to support for a refund. That was on Nov. 28th. The cornstarch machine stole money from me. I had 40 dollars in change that I counted over 5 times. Then I had 15 dollars in dolalr coins. The total at the end came out to $38. That makes no sense at all. And I would like to be refunded.Business Response

I went to a **** ***** store in my town and I bought BTC with $380, but the machine would not give me a voucher! At that time only was I able to actually talk to someone at CoinMe I believe it was, though it couldve been CoinStar, but at any rate, I got back a temporary voucher but it only had a pin number on it, and over the past several weeks, I have chatted with the agents on the CoinMe site and been given different case numbers every time, but I have always mentioned the incident number of the voucher that I got, which I hope will be temporary, but who knows, but I only got that voucher at all because there was a back-and-forth between me and the agent on my phone that they wanted me to do so between them and the stores manager, and ever since then I have been to the chat site at least once or twice a week every week, and I have made phone calls and left messages requesting someone to call me, but no one ever has yet, though I gave them all the information that they needed, and that they told me was needed! Yet, in all of this time, nobody has called me back, even though I spoke very clearly, and gave them all of the information that was requested, I still have never been contacted except maybe twice by emails, and I left them the information there that they wanted, which included a selfie of myself and a photo of my ID, which is my drivers license, and a photo of me, holding my drivers license in my hand, yet, nobody has reached out back to me, and even in one of those photo sets that I have sent them to no avail, I even held the voucher in my other hand, but yet, no one has contacted me back about it! They think Im just going to give up and forget about ever getting my $380 in a voucher or in a check if need be, back! Well, if they think that, theyre completely wrong! Because I will take this lousy CoinMe to the BBB or the ************************ (FTC) and see how much they like that! I used COINSTAR Bitcoin ATM machine at HEB supermarket on **********************************************************. and WWW.COINME.COM website platforms and ended up sending Bitcoin (BTC) to a wallet address:1Gci1vPdsKWayjkwZmjQDtp3Qcy4EqB6vR that turns out to be FRAUDLENT COINSTAR and COINME.COM have formed a partnership. Their platforms was used to facilitate and accommodate sending money to FRAUDULENT address above COINSTAR and COINME.COM are liable as they facilitated and accommodated the above transaction I asked COINME.COM to reverse the transactions. I am rejecting this response because: Coinstar is a partner of coinme. Coinstar can work with Coinme to please recover my funds sent to a fraudulent BTC address from your platforms combined, The transaction started with conistar, got coupon from coinstar to redeem in coinme and sent from coinme. Since it was sent then there should be a way to trace the funds and recover. them. Coinstar/Coinme would have far more greater resources to help me. Several fraud recovery companies have contacted me to assist recovering the funds with a fee up front and I cannot tell even if these companies are scams as there are many fraud recovery company scams also (***************** off someone who has already been frauded and scammed to fraud and scam them again. May our God have mercy on them). Coinstan and Coinme combined are well-known, reputable and large companies and since other fraud recovery companies can trace and recover the funds so can they. I PLEA to Coinstat and Coinme to help me recover the funds and ENSURE others like me DO NOT get scammed and frauded. I cashed in coins at a Coinstar machine in a ******* in ***********, ** yesterday. It calculated my coins to be $41.56 and shows that I'd receive $36.61 after fees. I went to the cashier and it wouldn't let them redeem it. I went to another cashier after shopping because I was told it may take a while for it to be able to be redeemed and it still told them that it couldn't be redeemed. I tried again, for the third time, today and it still didn't work. I also tried calling Coinstar but no one ever answered.Business Response

Put ***** worth of coins in coinstar and was issued a voucher for 38,36. This occured the afternoon of 9/21/2022. My wife and I both have some disabilities and we left the store (*********** in ******) and upon returning on 9/22/2022, they refused to honor the voucher. They said it must be redeemed the same day. on 09/20/2022 at a ******* in ************ *****, after a power outage occurred. I attempted to complete a coinstar process. The machine took our coins, did not provide a count of amount and did not provide a payout. The ******* associate witnessed the whole experience. Together with ******* associates, I called Coinstar. We were hung up on twice and once we finally were assisted, the customer support was rude and non existent. I was advised that there is no estimated time of when i would have a resolution. I was using this service because of the need for money. i cannot be without this money for a un estimated time. We were advised that we would receive the money when we receive it.. These are exact words. this is not appropriate and is stealing. Wow?!?! I mean I understand extorting the little man is real, but a **** percent charge for service, and a same day (new to me and largely hidden!!!!) expiration? Are you absolutely choking on air? Because that's how I feel regarding this corporate endorsed theft. I have a keno ticket with a possible value of zero that has a 6 month redemption! But when I convert real money into a real voucher that I think I can used, even only within that sole brand, I found out well after the fact that it actually expired if I didn't use it the same day!!!!! Coinstar is obviously a big time organizer, not giving any level of concern (hmmm... do poor people NEED coin machines in times of distress?? Big wonder!) at all for the people that it makes its money off of. Absolutely disgusting and the next time I cash in my coins it will be with a bank or by hand sadly, which really is sad! I went to change a significant amount of coins to A gift card and a Coinstar kiosk at a ******************* supermarket in ******** *******. I have done this transaction dozens of times before and I am very much aware of my options. I chose to change the coins to a gift card which carries no fees rather than to cash which has a 12% fee. For some reason, the machine did not take my selection and created a cash transaction with a $51 fee. I noticed the mistake and before terminating the transaction I called a store employee who tried to help me. She pointed out to a phone number on the machine which I called for service but the service representative said the transaction cannot be reversed or canceled and I signed a consent form while I was in the session . I explain to **************** that my intention was to get a gift card with no fee and that for some reason the machine did not take the correct action. Its also important to note that the screens were changed from the last time that they did the transaction and they have a different design now. I request that the fee of $51 be returned to me and that I should be made whole for the mistake. I also think the charging at 12% on an exchange of coins to cash is excessive and abnormal.Business Response
