      I got my procedure done in March of this year 2024 . Right after Easter. Sadly I feel it was such a waste of money. I still have uneven fat areas in my stomach, upper and lower. Not only that but when I did the consultation I was offered a cancellation discount so I felt it was rather pushed, and rushed. Like the numbers were and could be worked anyway just to get you to sign that agreement. I was told by the consultant that I would not need any extra surgery bc my collegen in my stomach was great, I would be completely flat after etc. as If I was promised bells and whistle just to move forward in the procedure. I did feel the pain of getting it done, its like there was no time for the anesthetic to work we just jumped in and got started, I said I could feel it but it just kept going and I just held in there. Later I had a reaction to something they were unsure of it was the antibiotics or the garment I was wearing? I went for my follow up and they said it will go down, and look so much better. Went to the massage and she said I was still extreamly swollen, but had not heard from any doctor . When we left after her trying to get me to purchase a package , I didnt seem so inclined to do so as I just spent so much money on what I had done, to me it was a lot and a choice I had to make within a week! Because the deal was ending and wouldnt be promised. So I feel she got my vibe as to not buying it right away and said well you dont have to come to youre 6 mth follow up, its really not required. Exact words. I find myself now still so unhappy and sad that this big choice financially, mentally and physically still has me feeling not much better at all. I feel like fat cells were missed or the procedure was rushed like I was some item on a conveyer belt. Onto the next..

      To begin, I was sold a false dream but did not discover that until several months later. I had the consult Thanksgiving weekend of 2023. I had to wait some months before I could go ahead, so I started contacting the *** in July 2024. After about a month of that *** not returning my emails or text messages, I find out they were no employed with Sonobello. Ok, not a problem but someone should have been monitoring that person's emails or an email should have bounced back stating that it was no longer active. I finally get a pre-op appointment with the doctor on 8/23/24. Dr. * then informed me that what I desire (what I was told could happen) was not possible at that facility. She then tried to convince me to come to her private practice to have the procedure done, which I refused. On 08/26/24, I contacted the new ***, ******, that I had been dealing with and informed her that the surgery was canceled due to what Dr. * stated and that I needed my deposit of $2,000 returned. I was informed that a check was sent via **** on 9/10/24 and that it would take "14 business days to get to me". This was actually the third response regarding my refund that I received. It has now been 43 days since I requested my deposit back and still nothing. The most unprofessional, disrespectful, thieving establishment I have ever encountered.

      I am rejecting this response because: I still have not received my deposit back. Supposedly a check was mailed on 9/10/24, still have not received it. The office manager finally returned my email regarding not receiving the check on Tuesday 10/08 (after filing the complaint) and told me that their accounting department could either issue another check and send via **** or I could provide my banking information for them to process an ACH. After much consideration, I provided my banking information. Thats when I was informed that my deposit would not be processed until Friday 10/11, 3 days later. Well, here are now a week later after providing my bank information and still no returned deposit. We are now on day 50 that I have been trying to get my money back.

      I tried to have liposuction and ab skin removal on 6/21/24. I loved the team, but it failed in the worst way. I learned from the *** and the failure of the procedure that I am *********-resistant. A lot of bad things happened that would take too much to explain, but I went thru an extreme amount of pain and a lot of confusion that caused situations for me. I'm sure this procedure works for many, but it didn't work for me. The *** had to stop because I felt everything. I look worse now than I did when this happened. I certainly feel worse. I deserve all my money back (except maybe the *** ***** The manager agreed that we both know I can't use the guarantee (which is that they will do it again if you aren't satisfied) because of being ********* resistant I can't do this again. The skin removal was the main reason I did this, and we never made it that far. I was told the manager would let me know what would be done about it. I was NEVER contacted, just refunded the amount of the skin removal. At my 1 month appt, I complained to the manager that I was never contacted and that I deserved a better refund. She said she could only offer the guarantee to have it done again, which we both agreed was an option that was not available to me. She said she was sure the company wouldn't do anything for me but she would contact them and get back with, I felt the company would. That was two months ago - I never heard from her and no additional money has been refunded. To be clear, it isnt the teams fault, I had a condition we didn't know about that made this extremely painful and unsuccessful. The amount of pain, stress and the amount of money I paid to look worse than before I started makes me cry daily. I believe I should get my money back as this was unsuccessful and cant be fixed! And the manager, *****, needs to be taught how to communicate and follow through. And why arent people tested to be sure they react positively to the numbing agent before the procedure?

      Hi,

      I saw a message today from the BBB dated Oct 22, 2024 stating the case was closed because I did not respond. I did not see the first message you sent on October 15th and I do apologize for that. Sono Bello states that they tried to contact me twice with no response. I have no phone messages from them nor do I have any emails from them and nothing appears when I do a search in my email from them. Their response to you is that I should contact "our center", but they do not give me a phone number. I will try to contact them tomorrow by calling the corporate numbers, but I am not convinced they tried to reach me. Or if they called, I do not answer my phone for unidentified numbers and they called from an unidentified number and did not leave a message. Please do not close this case. And please tell me what I need to do if I need to do something more than reach out to you to ask you not to re-open it.

      Again, my sincerest apologizes for not responding the first time, I have been waiting so I don't know how I missed your correspondence.

      I have many issues with hardened areas where the wand was inserted. Serious issues. I also have some reaction in my arms where it is like an itchy serious skin problem I have never had before and the garment they sent me home in was WAY too small and tight Not experiencing any results promised to me. I have areas that are hardened and formed from their procedure and. Was not aware of this possibility prior. I was not told of any issues except no weight loss which was on. But being deformed was not mentioned and is the result!

      I had a procedure completed at Sono Bello on May 16, 2024. The procedure was liposuction to 6 different areas on my body. I financed this procedure through ********, which included the non-refundable surgical fee. On 5/9/24 I requested to add on an area to the procedure, specifically the "banana roll." I paid cash for this add-on. The receipt is attached below. During the procedure, Dr. ****** informed me he would have to do the banana roll on another scheduled date as he had reached the maximum safe dose of ********* injections. Later, I decided that I did not want to have another procedure due to various reasons. I initially reached out to *** ******, the office manager via email on 8/5/24 and 9/4/24 requesting a refund. I heard nothing back from her. I have called the office approximately 4-5 times and spoke with various office administrators who took notes and sent my request for a refund to their office manager. I still have heard nothing from the office. They were extremely eager and timely in taking my business however now that I want a refund of something that I paid cash for, I have not even had the consideration of a call or email from the office manager which is quite unprofessional. One of the office administrators offered 10 free massages at the ******* branch instead of a refund. I declined, stating I would like my money back. I am very displeased and disappointed with this business and am respectfully requesting assistance from the BBB to help resolve this issue. Thank you.

      I keep getting spam emails from this company. I have deleted, reported and even set it up to filter from my email and I STILL keep getting messages. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!

      SonoBello uses pressure sales tactics, downplay the risks, use false advertisement and then will keep all your money when you decide to cancel. I originally visited SonoBello on March 29, 2024. Before having the procedure, I had to be cleared by a cardiologist, which I scheduled, saw him & was cleared to proceed. During the consultation I was led to believe that actual plastic surgeons perform the procedures. The consultant told me that in (3) days I would be back to work. Untrue. On June 10th my daughter phoned me, concerned & alarmed when she found several negative ******************** on BBB. She went over them with me. I was really frightened by this new info. I found out that I would have to wear a special garment for 6 weeks, I would be swollen & I would have leakage. I never was told this during my consultation. They also never told me that I could DIE from this. The BBB complaints included stories of patients that have actually died!!! Originally, I was told that I had to pay in full before I could get a date scheduled for the ************* did pay the entire price of $9545.81 before my scheduled procedure which was to be June 11, 2024. On June 10th, I called to cancel the procedure & was told I would not receive any refund. I tried disputing my credit cards. SonoBello rejected my dispute & the charges were placed back on my accounts. According to the ******************* stories that I read about, this is what they do. They are misleading, take advantage of vulnerable, and in my case, elderly women. They spout a short downtime, make it seem simple, safe, non-invasive, can't book the procedure until you pay all up front, then when you decide against having the procedure & want to cancel, they tell you that you THERE IS NO REFUND. I expected to pay a cancellation fee, but I do not understand how they can keep all of my money when they did not do the procedure. This has to be the biggest SCAM.

      Im unhappy with the results of my procedure. I feel I was misled about the results. I feel they didnt do all they could or what they said they would. I paid for waist as well and received no waist definition whatsoever, so Im confused why that charge was added onto it when they didnt do anything for my waist. They didnt remove all of the loose skin on my abdomen. And they didnt remove the max amount of fat they could. They told me I barely had any fat to remove during the surgery. I remember asking multiple times to ensure everything was being done because I knew I wouldnt want to go through another surgery again. I was told I would be flat and not have to **** in anymore. I left having to **** in still. They told me that they cant do anything about the excess skin thats still there, which she admitted she agrees there is still some there. She said they could just do more lipo, but I would have to lose weight first. Before the procedure, I was doing very low carb keto. But since Ive added healthy carbs into my diet and then I started lifting weights and was taking creatine. All which made the scale go up, not including any swelling. But they dont take any of that into consideration. You can tell I didnt put on body fat. Ive been working out and lifting weights and eat healthy, whole foods. But they refuse to even see me till I got back down to that weight. My lower abdomen is hard and protrudes. Im not sure if its visceral fat, swelling, or needs more lipo. And then like I said I have no shape at all which they shouldnt have added that charge if nothing could be done for my waist.

      I had the appointment and they said they couldnt fix the issues, they said nothing could be done. I would like a refund for the waist portion since they did not do that, they just charged me for it after saying they would contour the waist and add definition. They could have told me right from the start if that wouldnt be possible with my body type instead of adding that separate charge when I have a blocky waist still. Now Im left with having to find a way to pay for skin tightening procedures since they left me with loose skin still. I just want to warn others and help prevent them making the same mistake I did because I might as well have gotten a full tummy tuck if I had known this outcome and for the price. They told me they didnt wanna do anymore lipo either because it would make it worse. Im just really unsatisfied with this for the price I should have been satisfied or at least not lied to about what to expect. My lower belly is protruding out. Loose skin. No definition. And they said nothing can be done to fix it. So now all Im hoping for is a refund. Thank you.

This is why we offer our patients our Satisfaction Commitment, this commitment states We understand that no physician can specifically predict or guarantee the final results with cosmetic procedures. Despite the skilled work of our surgeon and a successful procedure that provides a cosmetic improvement, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and dissatisfaction can occur. Should you find your results to be unsatisfactory, your surgeon would like the opportunity to evaluate your results. If your surgeons evaluation determines your results to be deficient,we will touch up the area at no cost to you. Ms. ****** met with our surgeon on December *******, to review her results. During this visit Ms. ****** also shared she recently had a back lift. Our surgeon noted that she does not have any soft tissue fat volume that would require a touch up. Ms. ****** then voiced concern regarding her waist. Our surgeon also noted that she has had two rounds of liposuction on the waist area; once with us during her procedure  and then again when she had her back lift. He did not recommend a touch up in that area due to the risk of skin necrosis due to lack of blood supply. Ms. ****** has had wonderful results. Our Financial Agreement which she signed and initialed states "We have carefully explained to you the elective nature of this procedure. You have been informed of the risks of this procedure. Please be advised that we do not offer post-procedure refunds under any circumstance. No refund is due to Ms. ****** as all services purchased have been rendered. 

      Our management team attempted to contact her after she reopened her BBB complaint but have been unable to reach her. We ask that she please return their phone call at her earliest convenience.

      I spent thousands of dollars on a procedure that was supposed to be non-invasive. One week out of surgery I began bleeding and was instructed to go to the *** The ** doctor looked at the incisions and would not touch them, yet another several thousand dollars billed to me. Again, back to the Sono Bello clinic for a check-up for them to tell me to keep bandaging the wounds. I did so to only end up back in the ** for stitches on wounds that would not stop bleeding. This time over an $8,000 ** visit billed to me. Back to the clinic I go again with now an infection inside the wounds so the ** cuts the stitches open and now I am forced to take more meds and pack wounds myself at home. This goes on for now almost 3 months. I am still packing a wound. The procedure was a complete disaster and utter mess. Not to mention the only week I was supposed to be off work turned into over a month. This was the most awful experience in my life......
