I went to ********* to get laser surgery. They talked me into a tummy tuck. I gave him a $900 deposit. They canceled me for pre-op and then kept a schedule. I went in for the pre-op and I was told my blood pressure was 43 over 60. That was not a concern to them. I decided to opt out of getting the surgery and canceled it and they will not give me my deposit back. I did not like their procedures and not caring about a person's health and if I was healthy enough to do this. Thank youBusiness Response

********** I paid them $900. I canceled in time and they still will not give me a refund. I am looking for a refund before I have to go to small claims and *** them. Their policy is to cancel which I did and plenty of time. I would like a refund. I have been going through this with them for months to get my money back. I had liposuction of 8 areas and loose skin removal on march 26, 2024. I arrived and everyone was nice they gave me a cup of pills and I have no idea what they were. They took me into a room that looked more like an office and did not look sterile. I was talking to the dr while she was giving me lidocaine injections and she tells the nurse to give me another Xanax. Then the lights were out and 4.5 hours later I was awake getting picked up by my husband. I had no pain and did not feel bad. I went two days with no issues and day 3 I could barely walk because I had a lot of pain. I slept about 2 days and continued my pain pills. I followed all the post op directions. My husband was told I would be leaking for the next ***** hours. I went to week one of post op appointment and I saw the nurse and she took pictures. I told her I was still having drainage and a lot of pain. She gave me a release to go back to work. I worked 5 days and by the 5th day I was having a lot of pain and swelling. I took my bandage off my abdominal incision and I had the worst smell I have ever smelled. I had puss and blood coming from the incision. I called the doctor and she called in Amoxicillin for me. After the end of the antibiotics and the incision was getting worse. I decided to go to ER and the doctor said it looked like a botched surgery and referred me to wound care. I went to wound care a few days later. I informed the surgeon who told me I did not need to go to wound care. I ended up going to wound care and the incision was debrieded and medication applied. I went to the surgeon after the wound care Dr and she acted like this was Normal. She did use a huge needle to stick in my abdomen to make sure I had no fluid. For the rest of my life Im going to have a horrendous and uneven scar. I paid a lot of money and missed a lot of work. I still have an infection and Im on my second antibiotic. I will contact a lawyer if needed!!!! Worst experience of my life. Im on 3 weeks of painBusiness Response

I visited Sono Bello for my Pre-operative appointment. After the appointment I did research on the better business bureau website and found multiple complaints on their website. I called Sono Bello located in *********** today and spoke with **** (Sales Consultant), she informed me that if I cancel the initial deposit of $2500.00 surgical fee would not be refunded to me as per the signed financial agreement. Why would the surgical fee be withheld if there was no surgery. I stated that I am not comfortable having a procedure with so many negative reviews and would need a 100% refund. I called **************** and put a stop on the deposit. I expect a full refund from this Scam of a company!Business Response

Thanks you for contacting Sono Bello. We are sorry to hear ******************** experience has not been exceptional. **************** visited our center for her consultation appointment on March 29 and purchased her surgical package. She signed her financial agreement at this time and gave a deposit of $2,500. On April 9, she came in for her pre-operative appointment. During this appointment she met with our surgeon validated her candidacy, reviewed risks, and procedure. On April 15, she gave another payment towards her procedure for $1,300. It wasn't until 5 days later that she decided to cancel her surgical procedure. Our Financial Agreement which **************** signed and initialed clearly states that scheduling a procedure will require a minimum non-refundable fee of $2,495 and that this amount would be credited towards her the price of her procedure. This agreement also states that once the patient has completed the pre-operative appointment with our surgeon that any cancellations will result in 100% forfeiture of the procedure cost. This kind of policy is required to maintain a very busy surgical schedule. **************** has disputed the charges for the payments that she has made and we plan on refunding her the $1,300 and this is as a customer service gesture. She however is not entitled to a refund of the deposit. We attempted to contact **************** after we received her complaint and her disputes but she has not returned our phone calls. We ask that when she is ready to discuss her case/ options that she please contact our center.

I had a consultation with consultant named *************************** on 12/11/2023. I was seeking information on getting my front and back rolls liposuction and also my waist. I was specifically concerned about my skin tighting as I'm older and know skin elasticity isn't the same as when younger. So I asked ******** about this as otherwise I wasn't going to do it. She had me remove my shirt and told me no problem your small and they use Lazer while doing liposuction so everything will be tight again. I took her at her word. She also kept telling me I would get a better price if I paid within 24 hours. (500 off) which I felt pressure to make a quick decision. Which I did as I'm on a fix income. That isn't a good tactic to use on people but it worked.Ok I had the procedure done on January 9th 2024. I went through the pain etc. I'm not really seeing much of a change. Keep in mind I'm small and only 120 lbs. I got to my 3 month visit .I told the person giving me my check up and she has my before and after pictures that I don't see a difference. In fact I think it looks worse. She calls in the nurse who takes pictures to doctor. They tell me it's loose skin and can't be fixed! Other than ***** treatments to tighten my skin. I get ahold of the director and he agreed to give me 4 treatments. The person ***** says it takes 10 treatments to fix. They tried twice to sell me more treatments which I haven't even started. I paid enough. I was lied to from the consultant and I want the 10 treatments to get this fixed or my money back to go to a good plastic surgeon to correct! My skin looks like a Wrinkled Sharpei. I asked and she told me no problem with my skin tighting. I never would have done this if I was told I may have loose skin. The staff and doctor was very nice to me but the consultant lies and management let's them get away with it to make money. It's a production line. Stay clear and read all the complaints. I have contacted **** at Sonobello from the corporate office. She left a message and I contacted her but we played phone tag as I do work. She told me after I had my 4 ***** ********** I could get 8 more or I could take the 4 ***** treatments and get refunded $2000.00. She also told me to call her after I finished my treatments to tell her if I wanted more treatments or the money. I haven't started my treatments nor has ****** from Sonobello contacted me...until this is treated or I get some money back this is not resolved!Business Response

I do have appointments on May 22nd, 29th, June 5th and 12th. I was told after those appointments I could get more ***** treatments or get a partial refund of $2,000 .00. I am to tell them what I want to do and after I decide what I want to do I will then drop the case if they refund the money or give me the treatments. They are working with me but nothing has been resolved or will be resolved until after my last treatment on June 12th....once I get the check for the $2000.00 or more treatments that they promised will I then drop the case.Customer Answer

May 23,2023 I paid for a procedure for fat removal of inner/outer thigh and hip area at Sono Bello in *******, ** and had it done a couple of weeks later. The procedure went well. I had noticeable results shortly after with lots of bruising and swelling for many weeks following. At my 3 month follow up there was some unevenness but also still some swelling bruising and lumpy skin at inner thigh area which they said was normal and full results take about 6 months. Shortly before my 6 month follow up I moved to **************. When I called Sono Bello I was told I could have my follow up at a SC office. I contacted the Columbia, ** in November to schedule my 6 month follow up and was told I need to call the Hanover MD office to have my records sent to ********. I did that and called a few days later and was told they dont have the records and couldnt schedule my appt until they were received. Finally a week later they scheduled my appt for the following week.I drove 3 hours to the *************** and was taken back right away where the nurse took pictures which took less than 5 mins and told me there was no doctor available to see me and someone would call me to schedule another appt to come back to see the doctor. Before I was basically pushed out the door I pointed out the glaring areas of concern I had which she had no comment about. When I had my 3 month follow up in ******* after the nurse took pics we sat down and she showed me comparison photos so I assumed at the 6 month visit she would do the same considering thats when you can expect to really see your results. It seemed very clear to me why she didnt want to do that is probably because she didnt want to address that issue which was why she was in a hurry to get me out. For the record my inner thighs look absolutely horrible. I went from having fat inner thighs to having one bigger then the other that looks like a big dent in and worst of all loose skin that looks like a 100 year old woman. The nurse told me to call back to schedule to see doctor. I called a few days and was told they still couldnt schedule me and someone would call me back. A week later ****** called and left msg with date and time in February (3 months after 6 month follow up) and said if that time didnt work I could call back to reschedule but it would be an additional 3 months later.
When my appt date finally came in February (Luckily i marked the date on my calendar for the following Friday by mistake ) because I got a voice mail indicating the my appt for that day was cancelled and that they texted me the day before to reschedule and if I would like to reschedule to call back! How convenient before my procedure any appt I had I received a call and multiple text msgs where I had to reply to they would repeatedly call back; but that was when they wanted my money!
I didnt call back to reschedule because I didnt trust that they would do the same thing again after driving 3 hours to get there I decided to wait a vol longer and see if I say any improvement which I didnt even after exercising 5 days a week Im completely disgusted with my results and its going to cost me more money now to fix what they did not to mention were going into summer and I cant even wear shorts because my legs look deformed!!

I am rejecting this response because:***** then practice mgr left a msg for me on Monday, April 29. I called him back the next day and left him a msg. He never returned my call so I called, again Thursday May 2. He answered the phone that day so I spoke with him and he told me there was a doctor at the **************** who was able to do the procedure to fix the area of concern if I was interested. I told him yes that would be great. He said he would send my records over and i would be dealing with that office going forward. After not hearing anything for a week, yesterday (May 9) I decided to call the charlotte ******* The lady I spoke with said nothing was sent over from the *************** and she had no idea why I was calling. She was very helpful and offered to email ***** and told me I should also call him myself. Later that afternoon ***** left me a msg saying hes calling to give me an update by the time I was able to call him back the office was closed so I called first thing this morning and once again left a msg and once again Ive gotten no response.It appears that Im still just getting the run around and at this point if there is not a doctor that can fix my deformed legs within the next month I just want my money back so I can go somewhere else to have it fixed Next month will be 1 year since I had my procedure and 6 months since Ive been trying to actually speak to a doctor!!! I think Ive patient long enough. I cant even put on a pair of shorts much less a bathing suit because of so embarrassed how my legs look

January 18,2024 I had lipo and skin removal costing approximately ******. They say you can go back to work no problem at 2 weeks no problem. I was not healing and the nurse refused to give me an extended note for my employment. My employment was willing to give me more time off if Sono Bello would provide me a note. They denied me. I ended up going to the emergency because when I called they only offered me if I could take pictures and send them in. In a day it will be 3 months I had the surgery and I am barely starting to heal. They offered the dr to call me to answer the questions. He did not call I had to call him at which point they put me on hold while the dr looked over my chart. He finally comes on about 5 minutes later asking me what I needed from him. He did not know the history of my concerns supposedly they had spoken to him prior about me yet he knew none of prior pictures or concerns. My bellybutton looks deformed and I have very bad creases on both my sides aside from my incision still healing below the bellybutton to the slight left. I would ask for a repair but, they have scared me too much to ever get cut on again- maybe not a full refund but at least for the pubic area I paid ***** dollars for and it doesnt even look like they did anything. Its only more lifted because of the skin removal. I went to them because they claim less Down time, do to this I needed to resign from my job and now that I am able have had to reappy which it has put me in a financial strain. The most difficult part is I wanted more confidence in myself and this only made me more self conscious about my body.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I apologized for not communicating? Is a lie an apologized for being so angry that I had reached and reached out and all they asked me to do was send pictures. Those other pictures are about 2 months out. I want to be seen to be assured I would not get worse. Then they say to appease me they have the dr call he didnt call I had to call home and when he did get on the phone he asked what my issue was when I called before 2 times they told me they would have the dr check my pictures and would get back to me. He had no clue if patients healing is important to them why did they put me off. I should have been seen when I was not healing to assist me or console me!!!! I know have anxiety and stress over.. 2 weeks they claim!!! Then when I wasnt healing I needed more time off they would not see me nor provide another note so essentially I had to resign and reapply when I knew Id be safe to return by *********** looks like a **** o and they were supposed to do my pubis area that looks no different ***** dollars more for that and it just looks pulled up which is natural going to look like that because the skin removal but looks like no lipo was done there. I have been made to feel like a cow on an assembly line. Everytime I talk to these people they only seem to make what they say. Then lie I apologize for no communication??? Shame . I will look to see where I can get some help to fix this let alone the my side a wrinkled worst experience of my life. This has me doing a permanency plan and everything. I got a consultation on 3/25/24 & was railroaded into getting surgery. The consultant set my surgery for 4/1/24 bc there was a sale on the surgery. I was not sure if I wanted to do it that soon as I wanted time to think about it. Before I had even said yes to the surgery, the lady had already reached out to the dr assistant confirming the appointment on 4/1/24. I then gave my deposit of $2,000. I was scheduled for an over the phone pre op with the dr, who was 3 hours late to the call. I called the office to see what was going on. They said the dr got busy. They rescheduled my pre op appt for 3/29/24 & the dr talked about the surgery. I sent in before photos to the dr that afternoon. The dr assistant said that she would send prescription meds for surgery to the pharmacy, which never got filled in time. The dr called & left a VM on Sunday, 3/31/24, with concerns. I tried to call back & was not successful. I called Monday morning, 4/1/24, at 8am, 9am, & finally got someone at 10:30am & said that I didnt have the meds for the surgery & to cancel the surgery bc I was also still 4 hrs away & my surgery was at 12:30pm. My consultant called asking why I canceled & I told her that I didnt have the meds for the surgery & had not had a call from the dr for my pre op yet. The consultant scheduled me out for another surgery date & I said that I could not make it that date as I had to work & she said I could just take the day off & that I would not be refunded my deposit bc I had already been approved by the dr for surgery. The dr had never stated that I was approved as of yet. The consultant did not take me serious as to saying I couldnt take the next surgery date off from work & she just kept saying I would not regret getting surgery. I am just trying to get my deposit back & move on. This place is so unorganized & did not allow me to cancel my surgery. I had to have the surgery by end of April to get the discounted *********** feel as if I was rushed on my timing.Business Response

Due to health issues and personal I choose not to proceed with this procedure through sono Bello. At first I was going to set another date but after the bad customer service how could I trust these people with my life. After speaking with them and informing them of canceling they went a head and charged my credit card for services not provided. I'm willing to take this as far as I have to because this is ridiculous for Sono Bello to keep my hard earn money for no services used. And for them to give me the run around stating that there's no corporate person that I can speak with is ridiculous as well. I want my full refund.Business Response

On June 13, 2023 I had a surgical lipo procedure at Sono Bello in ********** to include Lower ABs $3,995.; Upper ABs $3,995.; Waistline $3,995.; ABEX $5,595.; Pre-Op Appt $495.; Recovery Pkg $922.56. There were promo discounts totaling $7,600 for a total cost to me of $13,892.56 Within a couple days of surgery I developed an infection with rash and itch that lasted for weeks (see pics). It was a major issue to get in contact with doctor and to get phone calls returned. When contact was finally made and appt to see doctor was scheduled it was determined that the waist line could not be performed because of my body structure. I discussed this with *************** sometime later and he let me know that he did not determine refunds that they were handled by other office staff. A short time later my incision developed scar tissue on either side of my navel and I now have two tennis ball sized hard lumps and the smooth ABEX upper/lower abs I was supposed to have is now ugly lumpy/bumpy. I talked with my GP and scheduled a CAT scan to ensure nothing else was going on medically to cause these issues and the results were clear showing only scar tissue. I have seen a *************** at Sono Bello for another opinion but I am electing not to have more surgery which may cause me more problems. I have tried on many occasions to contact ***** to talk with her about a refund but to date have not been able to get in touch with her. She indicated to the receptionist that she did call me and leave a VM on my phone however I have no record of any such VM and have not been able to contact her since.I feel entitled to some portion of a refund if for no other reason because the waistline could not be delivered as promised and paid forBusiness Response

I have many different problems that began when my husband and I came to do the consult. Lies told by **** the very nice women who just wants to make a sale.The lies: Down time is 3 days and then I will be up and going because I would not be under anesthesia! This is Bs- I had my surgery 2 weeks ago Tuesday and I can hardly get out out because pain because my incision is infecton, Im so swollen. **** made is sound like I would be back to work. She also gave me a quote to have my hips, back fat and all of abdomen liposuctiond and to have loose skin removed. We paid over ******. Then **** called saying I would also need to have my pubic area liposuctioned. She said I would not be able to pay another 2800 and I told her I couldnt and she asked me what I could afford was 1400. She said the would work. So we went 2800 to 1400. So I have paid close to 1200,00 for this procedure and over 2 weeks and I have absolutely no energy, Im having not only zapping nerve pain but really bad pain at wound incisional pain but my back and hips hurt. As long as I stay still its okay its that not bas. I called and was seen by another Dr and I have no ideas and he did seem conerned.2. I was suppose to be awake during the procedure and I guess I was talking to much so she told nurse to give me another Xanax and I was out through all 4 to 5 hours of surgery . I called and let them and they called in gabapentin which I already take. Im 2 weeks out and should be feeling better not worse. I did get a rx for Amoxicillin!Business Response

Unfortunately, as with any surgical procedure we are unable to predict how someone will react. The majority of our patient have a fast recovery, however there are some that experience complications and healing is slower. Our center has been in contact with ************** and she was seen on April 17 for a healing check. She is also scheduled for another healing check appointment on the 24th. We will continue to partner with her during hear healing process. We have also received her other BBB complaint and will address it with her when she is in center. We ask that if she has any questions or concerns that she contact the center directly, it is the most effective way the have her concerns addressed.
