    Great service. We listed our time share and while there were a few issues on our part RedWeek staff were constantly updating us on how to fix them. They responded you pour queries within 24 hours if not, sooner. Would definitely recommend them.****************

    I love being able to rent out my timeshares via Redweek and have done so for many years. I appreciate the Verified Posting option and have utilized it frequently. Redweek has always been responsive and timely with their communication to me.

    SCAM! We rented what we thought was a 2 bedroom at Westgate Smoky Mountains through RedWeek. We needed an actual two bedroom as we were traveling with my elderly parents and they needed daily assistance. A week before the trip, Redweek calls me to do a "Verification" call with the resort, only to find out that it isn't an actual two bedroom, but two one bedrooms "near" each other. When I asked for resolution, I was told I'd receive an email or phone call once ******* spoke with their manager. It's now been 24 hours and with our trip in six days, we don't have much of a choice at this point. Why would you do the verification of the unit AFTER taking my money and confirming the booking? Now we have to make the choice of taking the risk to see what they give us or lose out on over $2000 of flights and timeshare rental because of their false advertising.

    We are sorry to hear that you feel we've advertised falsely. However that is absolutely not the case. 

    As soon as we received the confirmation from the owner of the rental, we immediately attempted to contact you to confirm the dates that you wanted. Throughout the week, we sent you five emails and attempted to contact you via telephone five times and didn't hear back from you until Friday morning. 

    To make sure everything is correct, we always perform a final verification, to make sure that you receive the unit you booked and with this particular resort, they require that you be on the line when we perform the verification. We know that it can be quite cumbersome, but we simply want to make sure you receive the correct unit. This is why we always advise to not book any nonrefundable travel arrangements until you receive Final confirmation on your booking.

    I can see that our rental team will be trying again to reach you tomorrow to complete the confirmation. If there is a good time to reach out to you to complete the verification, please just let us know via email.

    Their resale department is under staffed and has the worse customer service ever. We listed our timeshare with them, and the closing never happened. You are not allowed to call them. They don't share information and there is absolutely no responsibility. There is one supervisor, who of course, can not be reached by phone. Timeshares are a scam and Redweek is one of the few places where you can sell them, but it's been a miserable, frustrating experience. No resolution, and no answers.

    We are sorry to hear that you feel our **************** is lacking. I've reviewed all of the communication and see that the resale team has always responded in a timely manner with updates regarding your sale. 

    The buyers of your week are in ******, which can cause delays and as our Resale manager and Contract manager explained, the buyers are not in default of contract, as the contract will not expire until November 15, 2023.
     
    Having documents notarized and authenticated outside of the U.S. is a very complicated and time-consuming matter and the buyers are doing what they have been instructed to do by the ******** government and the notary.

    We were scheduled to travel to West Maui on October 28-November 4, 2023. We opted to cancel within our 60 days prior to arrival due to the massive wildfires in *******. We pleaded via email with the owner to ***** our full refund due to the state of *******. The resort in West Maui is **************** Ocean condos. West Maui is scheduled to reopen October 7. Due to the devastation of the area we do not wish to travel there at this point. No one will even consider our request. We asked Redweek to contact the owner to request our full refund, but we still did not hear from the owner. ********* Airlines also altered our flights to Oct. 29, at different times with a much longer traveling time. We did receive a full refund for our flights. We understand we signed a contract, but to be penalized 50% of out money due to a situation not in our control seems unkind.**********

    Thanks so much for sharing your experience.

    We are all deeply saddened by the devastating fires in Maui. However, it's important to understand that we're required to follow the terms of each rental agreement and cannot authorize any refund without the owner's consent, unless the resort is closed.

    The major resorts in Maui are re-opening to guests today (September 15th), so unless the resort actually closes and they officially cancel your reservation, we're bound to follow the terms of the agreement.
