    IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL IN ************************************ ************** Acct IQD0PNE803882 Amount $1464 this company appears on my credit report but I do not have an account with them nor do I owe them anything. This is fraud. They need to remove themselves immediately from my credit report.

    In response to your letter dated September 23, 2022, we provide the following information. 
    Ms. ********* account was placed with our office in July of 2022 to collect final move out charges owed to our client, ********************* Apartments. To ensure there is no confusion, her contract is not with us, but with our client. 
    Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to our client who provided additional documentation for the account, including copies of Ms. ********* signed lease, final account statement, and application. Our records reflect the same email address provided with this complaint was used to apply to the apartments and electronically sign the lease. Taking this into consideration, we disagree with the consumers assessment the account is the result of fraud. Furthermore, section **** of the lease explains that unpaid amounts may be sent to a debt collection agency. Copies of the consumers full lease and final account statement are being mailed to her at the address provided with this complaint. 
    The current balance remains due. The account has been marked as disputed and will remain in that status until resolved. The consumer may contact our office to discuss payment options or to address any questions about the account.

    I am rejecting this response because:The balance of the account is incorrect regarding damages, of $995 these damages were not caused by me and I have a police report with proof of that. I want this account removed from my credit reports as I have not received any documents from this company and I do not owe them or the balance in question.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I will be in touch with the police report in the mean time I am requesting contact from the owners of ********************* Apartments. 
    Furthermore I want this collection company removed from my credit report as I have not had any communication regarding this debt before it was placed on my credit report. I have requested communication about this situation from the corporate office and owners of this property with no one reaching out to me whatsoever. I did not cause any damage to this property and I am not responsible for any damage and this complex and its owners know that, they also have video surveillance of this. My request is for Owners of authority reach out to me to discuss further and I want this removed from my credit report. My next step is a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau.

    I've reached out to this company multiple times in attempt to get more information abut my debt. I haven't received what I asked for from the compliance ***** I called and spoke with unit manager *** whom handles my account. Every time I had phone conversation with him he's verbally abusive . I don't want him handling my acct or my information. I also don't want to work with him in the future regarding anything.

    On July 18th at 7:29pm central time my husband sent this company $28.60 for a debt that is fraudulent and we explained to them that it's negatively impacting my credit score. I have the recording of the phone calls with ************************* at this company, as well as other employees on different days all acting in the interest and name of this business saying we can make the negative changes on the credit go away as we make payments and they told us how to later file for a refund from the ****** Company after we paid in payments "under protest" as they called it. We were supposed to get verification that we are paying under protest, as they explained it. On July 25th at 7:12am they hurt our bank account by attempting to steal $625.19 from the account. This is all in our bank records. With the phone recordings and the attempting theft we called them back, and they were verbally abusive as well as manipulative. The original debtor has said they're withdrawing the debt from them, and we settled it. So, we would like our $28.60 refunded and the credit report corrected to reach resolution in this matter in a civilized way.

    I received a phone call at work on 7//28 from ****** at I.Q. International. When I was not immediately available, she asked to speak to my manager. When I returned the call, she informed me that I owed a debt to my previous housing, Rock Ridge Estates. I had never received any written communication from Rock Ridge prior to this phone call. ****** told me that I needed to take care of the debt immediately or it would hit my credit report (I know the conversation was recorded, so these may not be her exact words.) I asked about disputing the debt because I wanted to see proof that I owed the money, and I was told that I could dispute later but had to pay now.When I got home, I found a letter from I.Q, International in the mail. The letter informed me that I had UNTIL 8/28 TO DISPUTE THE **** and all collection proceedings would be halted. I was NOT TOLD this information during the phone call.I am disputing the debt and would like my credit card charge for $2689 refunded. My rights under Federal Law have been violated.
