    I had to move out of my apartment due to the property manager raising my rent and charging me extra fees. They did not give me any type of notice and didnt correct anything until the following month of rent being due. This forced me to have to move out of my home that I lived in for 4 years. They sent the amount to collections and now the collection agency ******* has harassed me, wont proved me with any paperwork about the debt. They will not answer any questions regarding the debt. They have told me I have to take a loan out to pay them back rather than setting up a payment plan with me. They hang up on me when I tell them I cant finically afford to pay it all at once.

    Desert Ridge, the original creditor, has never reached out to discuss any money they think I owe them, and immediately sent to collection, according to ******** ******* has violated the laws in place for collections by calling me at work after being told verbally and in writing in two separate dispute letters that I cannot take calls at work, and has never attempted to call my personal number. I do not appreciate their harrassment and I have sent certified two dispute letters to this company, the first one was picked up on Sepetember 13, 2024 at 9:52 am and the other was picked up on November 4, 2024 at 9:51 am. To this day, ******* has yet to send me the information I requested in both of those dispute letters. ******* then reported these collections to credit bureaus, even though both have been disputed and they are not allowed to do so until they provide what I asked for, since these debts are not mine and I have stated that in my dispute letters. The amount that was reported to both ********** and ******* does not add up to the initial collection letters that were received last year, initially one was over $700 and the other was around $500, yet now one says around $200 and the other at $500. Lack of communication and following the laws is incredibly infuriating, and their scare tactics and harrassment must be put to an end. They are messing with people's lives and it is not okay what they are doing.

    • The reason why I believe the alleged debt is NOT valid is: I have a witness that can confirm that when I went to close out my apartment on June 26, 2024, Desert Ridge took the apartment as is by refusing to give me an exit walk through before I turned in my keys and on the exit paperwork, stated I owed nothing as I moved out. My witness can confirm that there was no damage done to the apartment and any wear or tear was already there when I moved in June of 2022, and I uploaded photos to the management company when I moved in to document any wear or tear that was in the apartment upon move in. When I moved in, I was also told m the leading agent that there was no security deposit or flex deposit that would be due upon my move in, and my lease shows that I was not charged a security deposit. I also have had to wait multiple months before they sent me any form of proof of this debt, and only received information from ******* on January 21, 2025 and the envelope that I have saved convienienly does not show a date of when they mailed it, but a bar code, yet somehow the paperwork shows the date of October 14, which I find very unreliable and leads me to once again know that this debt is not mine (and I have two witnesses that can confirm when this package was delivered to me). I have more proof of when ******* received my dispute letters and I have a copy of the exit paperwork, if needed.

    ********* has failed numerous times to comply the ***** requirements. I have made numerous attempts to have company, plus their client provide the necessary documents showing the debt in question, license to practice in NYS and they failed to provide such required items. **** complaint was filed, and their response was inaccurate. I haven't received such documentation and ********* continues to add late fees every week on the account. Credit scores has dramatically dropped because of their actions, and such collections attempts need to cease if accurate proof of debt is not provided.

    Per your request I sent a copy of my valid ID along with an utility bill for the house that I live in. I sent you a screenshot of the conversation with IQ Data International on 10/29/2024 at 12:40pm  asking them for the original contract with my signature. I have not received any correspondance from them via telephone,email, or mail aside from that one phone call. Until I got an alert on my credit report stating that I was in collections.     I have been trying to dispute this collection debt with IQ data international from mine and my husbands credit report because this debt is inaccurate. Ive sent proof to them and have not heard back. The original creditor were ******* properties who I have a signed agreement with saying that if I moved out before the 1st of July of 2022 that they would release me of all charges or any past due amounts owed if any. We were out before July 1st of 2022 staying with family. I have sent this document to ******* asking them to provide proof that I was still in the home after July 1st of 2022 and I have received no response back. I have also called and was completely disrespected by the agent on the phone I told her Im in the processes of buying a house and that Im tired of fighting with them that I was willing to settle but that I was not paying $5000 because 1 thats not the original amount owed and I told her I think thats illegal to charge interest on something that didnt have an agreement to be charged interest on and she told me that I better watch what I say and that shes in full rights. So now Ill continue to dispute because this is wrong and shouldve never even been sent to collections with having this signed agreement that I will attach if I can. I have also filed a complaint with the **** as well and have the letter to them and still no response for *******

Tell your client to send proof that I was there after July 1st of 2022, because I have requested that several times and you have yet to provide that documentation. You have not provided me with pictures or anything showing that I was still living at the property.
