      Costco and their warranty provider Allstate are so bad its immoral. My dad bought me a combination washer/dryer as a housewarming gift. He also got the extended warranty. The unit is now leaking and damaging my wood floor. I have spent over four hours on the phone and have sent close to a dozen emails trying to get service provided by the warranty. It is obvious that Costco and, ESPECIALLY Allstate, have made the entire process as difficult as possible. When I first called Costco, the representative told me he was sending all of the purchase information to Allstate. Allstate then emailed me saying that they needed the purchase info. I emailed them a copy of the receipts for the appliance and the warranty and they replied that the receipts were no good because they didnt have the purchase date on them. When I called Costco back so that I could get the right info I was told that the concierge department didnt have access, only the sales department does. Everything about this process has been more difficult, more complicated, more time-consuming, and more frustrating than necessary. I can only imagine it is this way so that individuals will give up and not file claims.

      I am so disappointed in Costco! We bought a Spa from them over a year and a half ago and have hardly been able to use it. Here is most of what we have gone through:We purchased the spa 1-14-2021 Spa delivered in April (we were told 6 weeks for delivery)Cover was defective, but was replaced by factory Discovered huge leak in May and we were unable to use. Factory insisted they send repair person Spa was not repaired until sometime in July In August we went out to use it and most of the inside was delaminated and water pouring out again. We were told it was one of a batch of (6) that had this problem.Factory sent new hot tub which arrived October 16th We were told by customer service we would be reimbursed for removal and replacement costs. We kept calling and emailing but no response from them. Finally, we got a response stating the customer service rep we were dealing with was no longer there and he had no authority to deal with us. We couldnt believe this! We started all over with a new rep (see emails below)New Hot tub is now leaking, and delamination started (we sent pictures)I called Costco on 7/28/ 2022. Every once in a while, I get an email stating they have not heard from the vendor yet. Meanwhile we have this big worthless piece of junk in our yard. Not only did the hot tub cost lots of money but we are wasting so much time and money on this it's unbelievable. My husband has really bd arthritis and we have always had a hot tub. The two we had before these each lasted 15 years. WE can't get a good one because we have this junk.

      Not the same place it was 20 years ago. **************** is now non-existent. Planned on a large family reunion, got all the food for everyone, get to the counter and am told that unless both the husband AND the wife are present, can't purchase anything. Have been a member since it was *********** Each year it gets worse.Really put a damper on what was supposed to be a great weekend, and staff couldn't care less. Account was valid, just the clerk behind the counter was the typical moron you expect somewhere else, but not at Costco. Said I was thinking of canceling my membership after 30 years and manager said, so politely, "Oh, well that's something I can help you with right here!".

      Costco provided a price online for a product which had a $3 off manufacturers coupon or rebate. Everywhere you look online, it says that prices may be less in warehouse. I did not find one location online that says the prices may be more at the warehouse. I went into the warehouse to purchase batteries that I thought would be at least the same price as online (since it does say it 'may be less in the warehouse') but found they were $2 more than online. I wasted my time and gas and feel that the online information is fraudulent and at the least very misleading. This is not right. There was no concern about this from the cashiers (who were rude) to customer service to corporate who said they would look into it but did not sound surprised. I do not see myself shopping there again. I will probably look into entering a full complaint.

      Ever order an item from Costco on line then get an email "sorry your order has been cancelled" with reasons like address or credit card? It has taken me 6 months to get Costco to tell me why. First item was ear buds cancelled in February. My husband blew it off. Then ordered a modem a month later. Cancelled with address or credit card issue inside the email. But we were ordering other items being delivered on the same card. I called ************************ They had no clue. I wanted a manager. The mgr. was clueless. Told me to try again and he would watch it. Called back said he was clueless but would research. Called back and he researched my account. Said we are blocked from **** 24 appliances. Told him they just installed an ** dishwasher. He told me Loss and Prevention would send me a letter with details. In June tried to order a microwave it cancelled. Called and asked for manager (which are supervisors). She looked in my account. Said i was blocked from **** 24 Electronics. Said that I have spent alot but returned half. So I am restricted. I told her they should warn the customers there's a problem instead of canceling orders with no real reason. At the end....She said she sees we spend alot of money with Costco and appreciated it. Said Loss and Prevention will get ahold of me. On 7/31 I wanted to buy a water purifier but was not sure if I should order since it could get cancelled. So I sent a letter to Costcos CEO. I got a call from an Escalation Specialist. He was clueless. Said a manager would call me. The next day HE called back and said he spoke to Loss and Prevention. I am restricted from 2 ****s. I told him the way they handle **************** *****. I should have been contacted 6 months ago & the issue discussed then if I tried to order from that **** refuse the sale. I told him I wanted a letter explaining why I'm blocked from Loss and Prevention. DONT EVER tick off Costcos CEO. Reviewed my sales. NOW I'm BLOCKED from buying On Line AT ALL.

      I shopped at COSTCO - Iwilei (store #***) today (7/30/22 - 11:30am) and when I was about to leave the parking lot, one of the parking attendants/employees purposely and intentionally grabbed my shopping cart which I had left on the side and placed it directly in the back of my car so that I would back up into it and damage my car. He placed the cart right in the back and walked away to collect other carts. My wife came out of the car to move it and he started complaining to her about us needing to put the cart away as if he was the "COSTCO PARKING POLICE". This person was a Male, Asian, between 5'4" - 5'6", black hair. We were not able to get his name as he walked in the other direction pretending that he didn't do anything wrong.IF this is the way COSTCO employees are going to treat their customers who patronize them, then I will take my business somewhere else.This employee is a liability and if he keeps doing this, there is definitely going to be an altercation and someone is going to get seriously hurt. This employee needs to be suspended or fired for his actions. This was absolutely inexcusable.

      Costco online is not trustworthy. Any number of things can go wrong from computer 'glitches' that cancel your order only god knows why. My iphone order was cancelled 3 times....it was like playing 'whack-a-mole'. Better to buy in the warehouse.

      My father has dementia and had a stroke. They refused to allow us to order as a guest since my father used to have an account with them at the same address. His account hasnt been active for several years. They have caused undue hardship. Beware if you move to a place where someone with an account or inactive account resided at the same address at any point in time.

      On March 31 2022 We purchased a new hvac system from costco advertised as a Lennox product. after the unit was installed we found out that it was a diffrent brand. (Broan) also We were offered a Costco cash card for our purchase, whch we never received as of 25 July 2022. This was over a ****** purchase. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.
