Solgen has been tremendous to do business with. They helped educate ** throughout each step of the process and have constantly provided the information needed to understand how to get the best out of our system. We appreciate the fact that Solgen is inthe business of selling systems but we never felt like we were Just Another Sale.

Solgen was so easy to work with. They made going solar so great for our family. With having a consistent solar bill it has made budgeting SO MUCH EASIER. Would highly recommend.

Horrible company. Lied to ** just to get ** to sign. We then got a quote from Lumio Solar and they were way more honest, explained in full detail what solgen failed too. And they gave ** a better product for a cheaper price

Was interested in solar due to high power bills. They wont quote based off your energy usage, only after they see your bill. Then they quote high enough to be just barely below your power bill. Then bate you in with 0%financing that they paid for by buying off the bank with the extra money you spent. I also found that the higher the tax credit or rebate you get the more they charge. I almost bought from them not knowing the cost of the work until they started to jerking me around about my corporate finances that I was not interested in disclosing. (Thats why you have a corporation, our finances are great 33% of gross revenue in the bank. A+ BBB). Anyhow I got a more expensive ground mount system for half the price of their quote for a roof mount. And the ground mount has a better exposure. However my tax credit will be a lot smaller cause 30% of $45k is a lot less than 30%of $90k

******, we are sorry there was some clear miscommunication in our discussions with you. Our process begins by reviewing the utility bill for usage needs and depending on the estimated offset desired, would determine the system size needed. We also offer ground mounts for Customers with available land.

Facts are what they are, you over charge for the service because the government is subsidizing it. Solgen power is the problem in this world. The government subsidizes something to get people to invest, but Solgen just raises the price to maximize profits. Complete dirtbags!

When looking for a solar solution for our residence in June, 2021, the reviews were not reflective of the poor service from this company. Long wait between sales and installation due to 'the busy schedule'. Okay, we get it. The install crew damaged our house and we had to have porch pieces replaced and painted. The project manager NEVER called ** once and also didn't call the city's electrical inspector to schedule ** in despite many, many emails and phone calls. 51 days after the installation was completed we got inspected but the Sense Module to relay solar returns wouldn't work. Sense was made operational in time for the rainy season to begin so we missed approx 2 months worth of sunny days. Now, almost 2 years into this, our Sense ****** says we are getting 1 Watt of return from our solar array. We could get no one to respond. The dichotomous thing is that the field people are all very nice and polite but the management side is horrible at customer service. We usually give any product a chance to prove itself and we did so with this company, but it's been one disappointment after another without any response from Solgen, whatsoever. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, ever.

We, like many others, have had the unfortunate opportunity of getting solar panels through Solgen Power back in August of 2022. We decided that we wanted to be energy efficient and did some research and found that Solgen ranked the best for our area. Not sure how they got anyone to give them good ratings. We started off with a salesman," Used car salesman" is more like it. We were informed of the process and were excited to get our panels. To start, we were told that we would get 26-30% back from the government for taxes, we asked if that was a credit or a refund. We were informed that we had a choice of getting a refund sent to us or have it applied towards our loan on the panels. Our loan was for 65K and the refund would help reduce that down so our payments would not be so much. When we asked if there was anything we needed to do, we were informed to have our tax accountant file the paperwork that Solgen would be sending us. When we informed our accountant, he told us there is no refund from the government, the refund is up to 10K in tax credit and the remainder would have to be applied to the following year. We asked Solgen about this and they told us that we have a 30% tax refund. This is a complete lie. Going back to the pre-install, we asked about the design and informed them that we get lots of snow. We were informed not to worry, they do this all the time. **** came and we had 4 foot of snow damned between our rows of panels, I was informed to go up on the roof and shovel it off. Not sure Solgen understands what snow does to a roof. Asked many times to talk to design team about this and got nothing. We were also informed that Solgen would pay three months of our electric bill during the install process. Yet, we have never seen that and we have been paying for our electric bill and the panel bill. The installers were nice, but they all said that Solgen was a company of liars. I only wish there was more space to fill out. If you go solar go elsewhere.

Solgen Power does not care about it's employees nor their customers. They are only in the business to make money and profit as much doing it. In a effort recently for bumping they profit margins they had cut their employees pay in the range of 20-40% forcing people out to hire new cheaper employees. Most of there western Washington work force has left. They also charge one of the highest rates for a solar system in the market for using below average materials compare to the competition. If you do your research about different materials you would find this out as well. They also stop servicing a product for their customers in a effort to lower their Service calls company wide and save money which leaves thousands of customers having to figure out a product solgen installed. They continue to hire people in management roles who don't know how to run their warehouses and only care about making sure the numbers look good for their boss(s). They make going solar look very good upfront until you sign the contract. After you get your system installed and turned on good luck trying to get ahold of them as they are only interested in making new sales instead of fixing problems for their existing customers. I would stay away from Solgen Power coming from a former employee.

Friendly sales person. Once purchase was made there were several mistakes made including mixing up our name with another person with similar last name which delayed getting a permit. Then they got the permit it was in the wrong state. After that poor communication consistently. We had to make the contacts to them to find out what the status was for our project. Purchase was made in August 2022 but panels were not installed until March 2023, still don't have it hooked up to the power meter. I would Not recommend using this company. Although they are polite there is no follow through and extremely poor communication with customer. Have had major delays project was to have been completed before Christmas but still waiting for final step, hook up to the power meter.

*****, reviewing your account, we can see there were some mishaps regarding the permitting and for the delay in having that resubmitted, we are sorry. Customer communication is something we continue to make strides in improving the overall experience. Please let us know if you have any questions, we are here for you!

Let's first talk about the person who calls to talk to you. He will tell you to take your time. Then keeps pushing you to get the paperwork over to him, so he can get the ball rolling, looks like he is on commission. They will tell you that you are getting a "rebate" and you either keep the money or put it towards your panels bill. This is not true you are not getting a rebate. This "rebate" is a tax credit from the government. Then you don't even get the full amount towards you taxes. It gives you so much then rolls the rest over to next the year. This was very much like a bait and switch. Was told I was getting a rebate to lower the cost of my panels and in the end I am paying the full amount. Now on to the guys that install the panels. These are the nicest and the most professional people I feel out of the whole company. The ******* was able to answer any and all questions that we had bout our panels. Over all this company is not a good company to go with.

*****, thank you for sharing this feedback. Pressure sales are never okay and not what we expect of our Energy Consultants. We understand there was some miscommunication regarding the Income Tax Credit with the Federal Government for going Solar. The federal tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar subtraction of income tax that you owe and paid throughout the year. $1 solar credit = $1 less you pay in taxes. We also appreciate the positive feedback regarding our installation crew. Please let us know if you have any other questions we can assist with!
