  Choose any other company.- Their salesman lied to me in order to get me to sign the contract. - I now know that contract was way overpriced. Roughly $16,000 more than other companies who have given me estimates. - They told me they'd upgrade my electrical panel as part of the package only to walk that back months into the contract - They ended up taking over 6 months to even attempt to schedule the actual install and only after I complained that my payments were due and they hadn't done any work.I had to pay them $1750 (which is a reduced fee) just for the privilege of not doing business with this scammy, incompetent company.

  We were told when we were going through the process and thinking about solar that the benefits to going through the program that we would qualify for the federal tax incentives EVEN if we are on limited income through Disability. WELL NOT TRUE! So NOW our payment is doubling because we dont qualify to get the 30% back this year, which that money would go towards our loan. ALSO, we were told they would do a walk through our home and WOULD provide LED lightbulbs and would install a smart meter. When asked about it was told the customer service representatives promise many things that never happen. They just said it was too late to back out. Also, NO ONE instructed us on how the system works and also how to use the Sense system that controls and monitors our system. We are devastated and are now concerned we will lose our home because of all this. We are not sure how we are going to pay off ****** on our income without these incentives from the government. Thanks **** *********! I have even tried reaching out to you and nothing and you told me if we ever needed you that you would be here for us. You LIED! And this company sucks! They need an F rating for dishonesty and promises to make a sale on people who dont have the income and now worry about surviving!

  I applied in May of 2022, got approved fairly quick and it's now 12/29/2022 with no solar panels installed and stuck with paying a solar bill that began in November ON TOP of my regular utility bill. I've reached out to management, supervisors, etc., and no help or assistance, this is wild.

  Have never once done business with this company. And there sales people and or automated system calls constantly. I dont answer, and even blocking them is no good. They just harass the living h*** out of your phone number as if it is going to do something positive Stay away from this company and beware of giving out your personal info to them. It will just lead to robocall harassment. Sometimes repetitive calls as well, with no message left.

  Had s great experience!!! **** had explained everything in detail!! so happy I got to fire my utility company and now pay myself for my electricity. After reading some of these reviews below a lot of people dont understand what a privilege and honor Solgen is. I have worked with other solar companies and have not gotten as much information upfront and quality work. Panels work great and everything they said happened.

  Do not ever use #SolgenPower for solar panels. This has been the worst transaction I have ever had with a company. They have blatantly lied to us, taken money from the loan we procurred and blown it off. I have turned them over to the ******************** ******** of the Washington State ************************** I WOULD NEVER WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.

  I feel totally duped by this company. My electric bill is sky high. The credit for solar was $2.32 my bill was over $1000. Last year it was 832. A **** solar credit. I reached out to Solgen with no satisfactory response. How can a 54 panel array produce next to nothing?? I was duped into believing I would be saving all this money and instead I have an expensive lawn ornament that is now costing me 353 per month payments on top of my huge electric bill!!

  Very disappointed in the experience. The up front contract made it sound like wed be producing well over what we use, and maybe have a $50 Utility bill here and there. So far, since mid July, we have yet to bank ANY power with the utility company. Make sure you understand what your % offset is, and what that means for your production. We were initially told 90% offset, but ended up with a 56% offset. Big difference. Also make sure you get a copy of the sales presentation, which includes these numbers, as they are not on any of the other paperwork we received. When asked why they did not install a bigger system, they blamed our roof vents, something that never came up in our original presentation. The latest nugget, is that they flat refuse to even offer an alternative solution. The install crew was great. 5 stars to them. No stars for anyone else.Edit: After reaching out multiple times, no resolution. Wanted this done before the snow came, but they simply cant. be. bothered. At this point Im stuck with them. Do yourself a favor and shop around. Im in customer service, I know how to do it right. This is not it.2nd edit: After a lengthy email discourse with their team nothing was done to address any issues. What a joke.
