My son with special needs was playing a game and then we were charged $200. After several attempts to contact XBOX there was no response. This is not right our family of 7 really needs the $200 back however this company is ignoring all of our request.

This was my fault and they did me right. I had a sticky A button on my controller, I put a bit of WD40 on it and started spamming the button to get it unstuck. Without realizing it, I accidentally bought something in the game I was playing.I submitted a refund request, explained the situation, and it was both approved and processed in less than an hour. My belief is always that the way to judge support isn't from when things go right but when things go wrong. Things went wrong, and they treated me well. I appreciate it even though they didn't have to.

I lost information on my flash drive after Microsoft Windows scanned it. I used recovery software and recovered files. Now Microsoft is claiming "write protection" on my files. That is not right.I used recovery software to get my files back after Microsoft Windows scanned my flash drive and left it blank. I had to purchase expensive recovery software to see if i could recover my files. I did get some major help there. Now Microsoft is claiming they are the author of my files. I looked under file properties Microsoft Word is claiming they are the author of my files. Why would anyone do that to a person? What I would like to know is how will Microsoft fix the **** files of mine that they have messed up horribly. Microsoft did not write my files, I did. I am a writer.

I have been subscribed to Microsoft for the past couple of years. I renewed my subscription this year and months later Microsoft flags my subscription as deactivated though they charges my credit card for yearly subscription. I talked to technical support via chat and one the phone of two separate occasions for a total of 5 hours with no resolution. They advised that they could not refund me any difference in my yearly subscription as I used part of the renewed service already. I ultimately gave up which means that they've stolen from me with no regard for my time and money.

Microsoft, worst company. They somehow got my credit card and were charging me for who knows what for 3 years. I finally realized, got a new credit card and they charged that one. No idea how they were able to find the new card. I called to cancel, they told me to go to their website and hung up on me. I tried to call back, they blocked my number and just automatically hung up on me after that. I finally found a new number for them, had to lie and say I wanted to buy something and in seconds, a real person was on the phone. Finally convinced them to cancel whatever it was they were charging me for but they will not give ANY money back, just said they won't charge me next year. Seems totally illegal to me. I paid hundreds of dollars for something I never wanted, never got, never needed, don't even know what it was and all they can say is, we'll try not to charge u next year? And then, of course, they hung up on me...

This company is engaging in dubious financial practices regarding automated billing. With their many corporate acquisitions and rolling every account into its own ******************** account, they have created duplicate accounts linked to the same email addresses. Their recurring billing and the options to unsubscribe from services are linked to that email address, and the duplications can therefore obstruct the customer from directly accessing or cancelling their subscriptions as a result of this process. In and of itself, this would be a moderate problem, but it would be somewhat forgivable if the company would let customers talk with a service representative. They make this process ridiculously difficult. It took me 4 hours and about **************************************************************** contact with somebody who eventually was able to end my subscription. The high difficulty of what should be a simple process, in order to avoid unwanted continuing subscription billing is problematic. Changing your credit card will not stop their billing, they have agreements with **** to transfer their automatic billing to your next card. I cannot help but think that the company is making closing accounts so difficult so that people give up and keep getting billed for subscriptions they don't want. The first person I tried to talk to hung up on me. The second person claims to have resolved the issue (we'll see). However, their automated operator is just insufferable, and directs you to solve your problems through the website. Calling them only results in being put through to a person about 5% of the time. Expect the other 95% of calls to insultingly spin you in a circle and tell you to visit their website. If the website was letting you solve your problem, why would you have called them in the first place? This company used to deliver adequate products and services. It no longer does.

My account was suspended for no reason. I tried to file an appeal with Microsoft but they denied it instantly. Its been about 3 months now and I had to create another account. They dont have any contacting options after you file an appeal.

I recently rented a film from Microsoft *********** which is through Xbox. Unfortunately, when I went to watch it, the movie says it Cant Play. I even have pictures as proof of this! It has said this for days, and I have been unable to watch it because of this. I requested a refund because of this, however, they denied my refund request and advised that I review the requirements for a refund, which I understand. I emailed them in response to this email only for the same person to email me back (swiftly, might I add) with the same email from before! So, I called Xbox support only to be told they cannot help me and transferred to the Microsoft side, only to be put on hold for half an hour. Therefore, I hung up. I get that they are probably taking other calls. So, I cant get my money back and I cant watch the movie because it wont play; they keep the money for a service that was never provided. Apparently I am not the only one that is unable to watch movies they paid for. Yet we are being ignored.
