I am writing to report a deeply disappointing experience my husband and I had at Nordstrom that left us feeling mistreated and discriminated against by the staff.On September 15, 2024, my husband attempted to return a pair of Golden Goose shoes that I had purchased online (Order placed on 09/04/2024 and received on 09/12/2024). I had worn the shoes only once, but they were too large, prompting the return. When my husband approached the counter, a male associate responded with hostility, refusing the return and claiming the shoes were worn. He cited a return policy that had never been communicated to us, using a condescending tone and pulling out a policy card as if it were specifically aimed at us.When my husband requested to speak with a manager, ******* *******, the manager of shoes, approached us. Unfortunately, she also dismissed our concerns, repeatedly insisting we could not return the shoes. Despite our explanations that we were unaware of this policy, she implied we should have known better due to prior returns. This lack of empathy was compounded when she interrupted our conversation to assist another customer, showing a complete disregard for our ************ further express my concerns, I reached out to the store manager but have yet to receive a response. This lack of follow-up is incredibly unprofessional and adds to our frustration.Nordstroms return policy clearly states a commitment to customer satisfaction and fair treatment, which we did not receive. Later, we visited the Nordstrom at UTC, where the staff accepted our return without issue. This inconsistency in policy enforcement raises concerns about bias and how customers are treated based on arbitrary criteria.Overall, this experience left us feeling disrespected and singled out. I urge the BBB to investigate this matter to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar treatment. Thank you for your attention to this issue.Nordstrom, Inc.

Bought on line pair of Common Projects sneakers at Nordstrom anniversary sale mid July, 2024. Wore 10 times and rubber sole started to crumble.Tried to return to ************************* Nordstrom with receipt in hand. Shoe department manager was very rude and refused return because shoes were designer and suggested I go to ************* Nordstrom. Specifically says on line free returns anytime at any Nordstrom store.If designer merchandise cannot be returned- this should be clearly ********* a long time customer I am very disappointed and angry.Nordstrom, Inc.

Do Not ship to store!!!!. I spend a ridiculous amount annually with Nordstroms. It is unfortunate that they have no concept of how to be an effective online retailer. I ordered 3 sneakers totaling $776 from the main store in **********. Saw they had an option to have the shoes delivered the next day to a Nordstroms Rack in ********, ** a bit closer to my residence free of charge. The next morning I received notification 1 item was ready and the other 2 were awaiting pickup. It remained that way all day. I called corporate customer service and was advised the 2 other items were received by store that morning per tracking so they transferred me to the store. The customer experience manager advised that corporate was wrong and the other packages didnt get delivered. I asked for a refund on missing items. she advised. She advised she couldnt help with a refund. After using the chat function the representative advised the only party that can process a refund is the pick up location which just advised me they cant refund me because they never received the items. So I called the store back and was put in touch with the assistant floor manager who reiterated that since they didnt receive the items there was nothing she could do to assist me with a refund. I asked to speak with her manager, but was advised that the manager doesnt permit customers to contact him by email so I would just have to call M-F during business hours to try to reach him. Apparently, you arent permitted to speak the manager and the assistant manager says she doesnt have authority to help with my situation. At this point I am out $776, I am told the store is the only place that can refund me and the store refuses to refund me because they say they didnt receive the items even though according to corporate *** tracking says they did. I did finally receive a VM in the evening indicating they did receive the items but misplaced them and didnt check them in. Super broken process + bad service!Nordstrom, Inc.

I have purchased with Nordstrom for Gd knows how many years, like we all have, my packaged was stolen by the driver of the carrier they chose, they chose to use to trust with my package, i informed them of everything that happened, that i filed a police report and the person i spoke on the phone basically told me its not their problem, that my accuse is serious which im aware and i needed them to do their due diligence and start an investigation like i did to call their carrier and they simply decided i wasnt gonna get either a replace or my money back, money i work hard for like we all do, so i basically worked to buy their driver a perfume.After all these years of trust built, me buying from them, they couldnt believe that one time someone stole from me? Incredible but it was more so the way in which their customer service agent talked down to me and treated me like i was the one that kept the package, why is this person on costumer service when he doesnt know how to even address a costumer?Nordstrom, Inc.

I bought a pair of shoes from Nordstrom Rack in ******** Ga. I couldn't wear them for a full work day because the seam in the toe well of the pump was rubbing against the top of my toe. When I felt inside, I felt a small split. These shoes were damaged when I bought them. They refused even a store credit.Nordstrom, Inc.

I order a bunch of stuff from Nordstrom online. I returned a coach bag a few months ago and was never credited for my item. They reviewed this multiple times and still didnt give me credit even after me providing a tracking number for a box that was delivered to Nordstrom. Just this week, I placed an order for some replacement products I needed and one of the items was missing out of the package and they will not ship the item or credit the item because they told me the Item was received. I dont have it. Ive been a long time Nordstrom customer but Im highly dissatisfied with the level of service. Im receiving lately.Nordstrom, Inc.

Nordstrom delivery to ********* is horrible. One of my packages got lost by T Force delivery who obviously just dumps the packages at an unknown location. This is my last time shopping in Nordstrom. Much better to just find the brand you like at that brand's site.Nordstrom, Inc.

I returned two items from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale 2024. One item was refunded into my bank account. The other item was for a pair of boots for $108, which was never deposited into my bank. I called customer service, and they said it was refunded. But I said it wasnt in my bank. They punted me to three different people in the Nordstrom organization. None of them was willing to help. So I called by personal stylist and told her the situation. She had a refund for me the next day. What if I didnt have a personal stylist who knows me and trusts what I was saying?Nordstrom, Inc.

POOR Employee Experience! Worked on Sales From for 1 month until I quit due to being Verbally Assaulted by coworker on my Sales Floor in my Department. Employee Harassed me by Verbal Assault and Humuliated me in front of a line of customers and fellow sales employee on sales floor. Screamed and Yelled in my Face, Hovering over me, accusing me of stealing her customer. This happened 2-3 times. Reported to management and employee stayed on front in my department and was scheduled when I was scheduled, Still Having Horrific flashbacks.Nordstrom, Inc.
