1 starHave a horrible **************** system. Was locked out of my account from being signed-in in too many locations. The only way to sign in was by getting a code sent. I had an old number listed and there was ONLY ONE option to send a security code through text message even though my email is the primary form of communication with amazon. The ONLY other way to get things changed was to call customer service.When calling customer service, was met with an unknowledgeable woman who could not complete anything, she put me on hold for about 5 minutes while "removing a block" on my account. I ended up hanging up while waiting on hold for a simple task to be done. The next customer service representative was able to confirm my identity and remove the hold and also make the change to my account within 1 minute. They employ people who do not know what they are doing and have extreme attitudes leading to them placing you on hold and wasting your time. They also have no customer service review or complaint service. Imagine they don't want to take money out of the Billion dollar profits to deal with complaints.Review fromAnthony V.

1 starAddress listed is from last order received. I had been an amazon prime member for years. I had my hotmail account hacked, which received over 5ooo junk / phishing emails a day for about a week. I am suspicious this might have originated after a similarly dead end security concern with Sofi, after I received a text telling me "here's the code you requested". On contact with Sofi, they had no answer regarding my security concerns. 2 days later the spam email barrage began. In them (yes I still screened), was one from "amazon", which I recall had some familiar search items in the email, which I didn't think of much at the time. 2 days late, I found my account was closed. I had already started changing all passwords, but financial institutions were first on my list and I hadn't gotten to changing amazon yet. On contact with amazon, there was no help. No 2nd level tech, no supervisor. All I was told was that my account was closed and I could just open a new one. The *** on the phone didn't respond in anyway to me telling them I hadn't closed the account. 2 days late, I notice a fraudulent charge for nearly 1300$. Another call to amazon had the same response, and there was absolutely no concern for fraud, security, or even a fraud department to talk to.. The *** advised me to ***ort to my credit card and just open a new account. There was no second level to speak with. The way it was handled was as though it was a routine problem, and I would wager it is a recurring scam, unsure of where it precisely initiated. There is no way to reinstate the account, and no coverage on any previous purchases. They were able to somewhat see the old account via the last item purchased and order number, but no resolution whatsoever. No way to look into new orders. No supervisor, no fraud department, absolute refusal to express concern about fraudulent charge, ***ort, or attempt to resolve. 1 starZERO stars. By far the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. Trying to create a sellers account, getting random errors, not one person i talked to out of 20 had any idea what was going on. I get a different answer from everyone from delete it and start over to you are barred from selling. It is my very firrst account with my own product. If I could give them negative stars I would. If you have the dream of selling your product on Amazon then RUN FAR AWAY and let that dream die. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL serrvice.Review fromAngela N

1 starI used to love shopping on Amazon, but I've been burned by the third party sellers too often. Plus, I can not stand how Amazon takes down negative reviews, thus falsely inflating the "positive" scores of the third party sellers. They trick innocent people into thinking a seller is trustworthy, but most of the negagive reviews gef taken down. If it doesn't suit their "community standards" they remove it! This is false advertising! And their return policy is totally bogus. If you don't ship the item back at your own expense, you don't get a refund! That is not a refund at all! Why should I pay more money to fix a "mistake" that a third party seller made?! I will not be using Amazon much in the future! BUYER BEWARE!!Review fromChris N

1 starAMAZON has been trying to deliver my order since 14 April to a local POST OFFICE!!! They must not be able to read because they keep trying to deliver AFTER the site closes!!! Post Office is open M-F 8-5 and Saturday 9-12. Contacted customer service a few days ago and they insisted order would arrive at 8pm...which it never did because the POST OFFICE was CLOSED!!!! 1 starAMAZON is DEAD!!! Sorry **** you now own the WORLDS most SCAMMY and HACKER ridden shopping platform on planet EARTH! Yeah, I think the ***** SHAPED ROCKET cost WAY TOO MUCH after all BRO!!! It's affecting your CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!! My entire home **** Network gets HACKED via my FIRESTICK daily!! Its lack of security should be CRIMINAL! They also seem to allow sellers to scam people, by selling damaged or defective merchandise as NEW!!! Then WE THE CUSTOMER get to deal with the headache, while the seller makes an INSURANCE CLAIM on the known defective or damaged goods! A TOATAL SCAM!!! AMAZON should be renamed SCAMAZON!!! 2 starsTo start I'm an active prime member. I placed an order for chocolate which was to be delivered the next day ( my day off) and I live in ************** and Temps are in the 80's. The day of delivery it showed the package was out for delivery to be expected between 2:30 and 5:30. It's now 8:00pm and it's still showing out for delivery. Here's the kicker it left the carrier facility at 7 am and arrived back at 2pm at said facility, which is about an hour away. My issue is now my package won't arrive until tomorrow and it will sit outside in the heat all day, which makes it worthless. And my husband had placed a separate order with 2 day delivery and he got his item today. Now I'll have to call customer service back and fight for a refund tomorrow night. If the listing says next day delivery it should be next day or have a delivery window that is realistic, so the purchaser can make an informed purchase.Review fromFiras E

1 starI recently purchased a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 ************* Edition headphones from Amazon. Upon receiving and testing the item, I found the left earcup to be defective, producing noticeable bass distortion. I immediately attempted to initiate a return.However, due to work obligations, I had to travel overseas the next day, and am currently outside *****************. This makes all of Amazons return options **** Store, Whole Foods, etc.) unusable, as they are only valid within the ***** contacted Amazon support to request:1.An alternative method to return the defective item (e.g., international postal service or prepaid label).2.A possible extension to the May 3 return deadline, to allow for international transit time.Despite being transferred between 6 different support agents, I received no actual help. Several of the chats were abruptly ended by agents, and none acknowledged or addressed my inability to access U.S. drop-off points. One agent even closed the chat while I was explaining my situation.I am willing to cover the cost of international return shipping I am not seeking anything unreasonable, just a way to return a clearly defective product that is not usable.Amazon continues to refer back to standard policies without offering a reasonable solution, despite the product being under warranty and returned within the accepted time window.
