************************ (a 501c3) hosted our Flannelfest event in 2020 that we hired Brown Paper Tickets for. After the event they paid us what we were owed, but then retracted the payment from our account and then went out of business. This put our nonprofit at risk. ********** purchased Brown Paper Ticket and promised to pay all remaining debts by owed to all of the companies by March 2024 that *** wrongfully stiffed on their events. We have gotten no response after years of consistent emails.Initial Complaint

We received a check from this business for ticket money they collected. We were then notified it was not cashable due to insufficient funds. I have contacted the company four or five times in the hope we would be paid. As a small nonprofit, the $1785 is quite important to our association.I don't understand how this company can continue to do business when they have outstanding debt.Though i would like to have our organization paid, I just want this complaint on file.Initial Complaint

My organization produced a show in June of 2023 using BrownPaperTickets for ticket sales. We are now one year later and BrownPaperTickets has continued to hold the payment, totaling nearly $3k, hostage. They do not take calls and never respond to emails.Initial Complaint

Stroke **************** a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, used Brown Paper Tickets to sell registrations and sponsorships and collect donations for our charity event on October 15, 2023. We have yet to receive our payout of $3,650. I have contacted Brown Paper Tickets and Events.com (who acquired the company) numerous times without a response. They are fraudulently withholding donor funds intended for our charity.Initial Complaint

Events.com has made multiple promises to pay owed balances incurred from its acquisition of BrownPaperTickets.com. To date, these promises have not been met.I am owed $1,560 which the now defunct BrownPaperTickets.com collected of MY rightful earnings. This sum was supposed to have been remitted to me by February 1, 2023. As of 18 months later, I have not seen a ***** of this.Events.com sent several emails promising to pay off the *** producers who were owed money, yet so far they have not done so. Why would a company make empty promises? Are they just as corrupt as BrownPaperTickets was? Events.com promised as a part of acquiring BrownPaperTickets to pay off the balances owed to producers. If Events.com does not concede this promise, I will have not choice but to do everything in my power as a producer in the music industry to expose their corrupt business practices.Initial Complaint

We have two accounts that we are still waiting to receive funds from events in 2022: ************************* and ************************** We received an email on March 6 that the funds would be disbursed within 5-10 days but we have not seen anything yet. The banking information is all current and as I understood it we would receive the funds directly into our bank account. However even a mailed check should have arrived by now with that timeline. I believe all funds were supposed to be paid out by the end of March anyway under the new ownership of Brown Paper Tickets. The payouts were $3560 and $3720, totaling $7280 that is now extremely overdue. We did not submit a complaint within one year because they were bought by Events.com during that time and we hoped to still receive the payout per their court orders to pay out all owed funds.
