    M very disapointed...poor costomer service and when you ask for explanation as to why the transaction has not been delievered they tell you to contact your local bank while in reality their the ones with the contract with the other local bank....i wouldnt recomend....better world remit for Tanzania transactions.By ********

    My information was stolen and when I filed a dispute with my bank, Remitly responded to them and said the transactions were verified by Multiple Authentication. They have refused to refund almost $6,000 to me.

    This Company needs to go it's a SCAM people are loosing money to them and they do not care they calim money is with the bank if you check with the bank they bank does not have the money doesn't make any sense no representative is willing to help it's one thing over and over i have been struggling to get my money back since 2 weeks now

    If I could give them zero stars I would. I transferred money and was told it was on the review. I had to call them every time to check on the status of the said review. I was told a series of questions were required for the internal, evaluation of my transaction. I answered the same questions on numerous occasions. After we can have my transaction was Canceled with notification that my money will be sent back to me after 10 business days. Now, if that isnt theft, I dont know what it is.My questions are number one. Why did it take that long for determination to be made that transaction will not be authorized. And says the money was kept in some sort of an escrow arrangement. Why would it take 10 days to be returned to me we are talking about $2000. So now I have to wait approximately two weeks to get my money back and send through another, efficient app.I believe consumers should have rights that protects them against such shenanigans. It shouldnt take but a couple of days to decide whether you want to transfer the money by a client or not. Not happy at all.

    This business has discriminated against me due to the gender i identify as. My account was permanently suspended after I contacted customer service due to my transactions being cancelled. I was told my voice doesnt match my face. Me being a transgender I felt that very disrespectful. I waited for hours on the phone and sent several selfies with me holding my ID only to be told my account will be suspended due to me sounding manly but identifying as a woman

    They said in an email that my account was reactivated to send money. I tried on March 15, 2024. I can't send money. My account is blocked again. I called, and the lady only said is blocked. Solution: Allow me to send money. DO NOT BLOCK IT AGAIN. 1 star because it can't be 0.

    I sent money to a relative back in ***** on 02/21/2024. I sent $500 twice which I have all the reference numbers available. One of the transactions went through but the other one did not. I have contacted Remitly several times for them to solve the issue but they keep on telling me the case is still under investigation. Today is 03/08/2024 and I am getting frustrated. I have provided them with the statement from MTN ***** that only one transaction went through and they have still not told me anything meaningful yet. I have advised myself to stop using your services but want my money back. Thanks!

    I'm surprised this company is still in business with how poor their customer service is and how unclear their policies are. I signed up to use their service and loaded in my business bank account and they immediately suspended my account because apparently business use violates their poorly worded and vague User Agreement despite there being no warning when you create an account or load banking info. I reached out to their customer support for clarification and they were nice enough but the first guy had no clue what the issue is and the second guy provided me with a cut and paste response that I can't use business accounts.
