Complete misrepresentation of company by sales person. I have been trying for a week to get a phone call back to have someone come out (third time) to get rid of ant problem. I was told by the sales person that this was a local company but when I call, it gets routed to an international call center. The call center rep is "unable to reach the local office". I called the phone number left by the sales person but no answer there either. I looked him ** in LinkedIn and discovered he is a college student who was doing a summer job. He has already returned to his out of state school. They charge $200 a visit and spend about 10 minutes. I was promised the soil in the yard would be treated, but there is no evidence. The most recent time I was told that bait traps were set up but there is no evidence. My 85 year old mother's living space has ants and it is not a good situation. At this point I will probably cancel the contract and pay the fee, and call it an expensive ****** learned.Ecoshield Pest Control

Extremely aggressive salesman, with the same lines as everyone else stated, wouldnt take no for an answer. Told me he was just going to walk around my house and take pictures of anything that might be concerning. I once again told him no thank you. He then pulled out his camera and started a walk stating it will only take a few minutes. In return he forced my to aggressively tell him to leave explaining that Id rather not have a total stranger walking around my house taking pictures. EcoShield is a scam.For the second time, an uniformed employee showed up at our door uninvited, ignored our No Soliciting sign and said, "Hi, I was just servicing your neighbor ******'s house down the street. Can I ask which pest control service you're using?" There is no "******" or "the ***** family," which is the fake name they tried last time. I have this guy on camera, which didn't seem to bother him at all. The next time this happens, I'll call the police for trespassing.Ecoshield Pest Control

Ecoshield is all tall Claims and not much to show For results.I could see spiders ants and rodents on my property even after their service and when i complained of taking care of these things myself with ********** products i was quoted an xtra charge for the services.And when after being completly dissatisfied i wanted to cancel the service i paid around 221 more to do so. Worst more than 600 dollars spent on a visit and follow up with nothing to show for services.I felt like getting duped by them.Ecoshield Pest Control

Ecoshield has taken care of my home since 2017, Id been satisfied up until last year when the technicians werent doing their job well (I have security cameras around the house) and I had to call for touch-*** repeatedly. So I canceled the services at NO charge with no problems. Months later, a staff knocked on my door, we had a meaningful conversation. I was told the company had let go of 30% of the employees and hired new staff. I decided to give them a second chance. Talked to the technician who did the most recent service, he was extremely knowledgeable and professional, the company wouldve been a lot more successful if every technician was like him.Both of the times they showed up trying to sell, theyre never pushy. Before I paid, I was told if I cancel the contract, Id have to pay $231, the discount I was offered. For those who call it termination fee, the discount is offered only to customers who commit. If you cancel the contract, you lose the discount, totally fair! Its NOT a hidden fee as its stated on the document that says contract requiring initials! Upon signing, I received all those documents by email right away. They also explained, after the initial service, theres another service in ***** days to break the egg cycle. For those who call them money-grabber because of this, youd understand about the egg cycle if you have to deal with fleas infestation, its impossible to get rid of them with one cleaning. I have two kids, two cats, and a dog that go to the yard every day, no one has ever got sick or anything. I do think the treatments work because after I canceled the services, I noticed an increase of bugs and spiders.I think Ecoshield is an honest and trustworthy company. For almost 6 years, *** never felt locked in a contract or been lied about anything. The only problem is that not all technicians perform the same quality of work, especially last year, hence therere free touch-***. I gave them a second chance as they earned it.Ecoshield Pest Control

Predatory practices. I received a knock on my door around 6PM from a nice salesman stating he knew I had just purchased by home because he cared for my neighbors lawns and wanted to offer me a discounted service from their local company. He was very pushy, would not let me decline and as I asked simply for a card. He offered to schedule me for 7 PM the next day and assured me that I could cancel the appointment "no problem." He took some basic information and had me initial to ensure that it was correct. I explicitly asked "is this a contract?" and he stated it was not, that the actual contract had several places to initial, he wasn't collecting any payment information, and the contract would be signed at the first service. All incorrect! I checked my email later to see that I initialed for a 12 mo contract. I called the "local" company the next day and spoke with a nice man from a call center. He assured me that because I asked to cancel in the 3 day "cooling off" period I would be able to cancel without paying the CANCELLATION FEE. He then told me to wait for the technician to call me "and make sure not to miss the call." I asked for him to please send me an email in writing about our conversation confirming that he stated I would be able to cancel the contract without fees, "I need to ask my supervisor." He came back a short while later stating he would email me. Never happened. I called the number the technician left, no answer. They clearly try to string you along for as long as possible within that 3 day window. It's a complete scam. Infuriating to say the least.Ecoshield Pest Control

Worst company, don't ever deal with it!!!1) products were not working, been using their products for 8 months, no reduce of any insects. Still frequently see spider, silver fish, etc.2) service was bad, I complained the products was not working and wanted to stop service, and then the agent asked why didn't you call us earlier. I asked the technician every single month that there is no reduction of any insects. Technician kept lying, 'no worry, will see the result within 6 months or next month'3) bill is not reasonable. SCAM. If I could give them negative stars I would. DO NOT sign-up for their services. Long story short you have to pay a ridiculous amount to cancel their non-existent services and they are over priced for what they offer. After paying a whooping $1105.92 for 3 months of unsatisfactory services that got rid of no bugs or moles, I now have to pay an additional $243 to cancel services?! Also, if you have a problem, good luck getting in contact with the local WA office, I'm convinced at this point that they don't even exists. We signed up with their mole/vole and general pest services at the end of August. The sales rep that came to our door showed me a paper with all these different pests that is targeted, including wasps/hornets, spiders, etc. And let me tell ya, they didn't do anything. Lets start with the bugs, we have cameras all around our home (by every exit door and sliding door) so we can see if they sprayed - they wouldn't ********** the house. I pointed out specific areas that we have wasp issues and told them where to spray, and they STILL DID NOT get those areas. The spiders, wasps, hornets, and beetles flourished before the cold hit. So no, they do not work. On top of that, they stated that it wouldn't affect our dogs as long as we waited a few hours to let them outside. Well that was another lie. Our dogs were puking and lethargic within 24 hours and stayed sick for a few days. And don't get me started on the moles. We have more moles now than before we started with them. They have no knowledge on the animal and do nothing to get rid of them. You're better off buying the poison worms and mole deterrents that they use, from ******** which we know don't work, as that's the level of mole service they give. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT sign up with them.Ecoshield Pest Control

Ecoshield is a SCAM. Like another ****** reviewer stated, the guy shows up at my property in person telling me about how other homeowners in my neighborhood are using Ecoshield and they'd like to know if I'd like to be added to their route, offering a discount, etc. Since they are supposed to be "eco-friendly" I decided to give them a try. I cancelled my former past control service and started up with Ecoshield. WHAT A MISTAKE! I now have MORE spiders inside & outside my house. Just after their exterior spider treatment, there were a crazy amount of spiders hanging out on my exterior walls - more than I'd ever seen before! Apparently, spiders love the Ecoshield spider-deterrent product. They also promised their eco-friendly product was superior for getting rid of moles. But, before Ecoshield I had a little bit of evidence of a mole at the outskirts of my property. Now, after Ecoshield, the moles are PROLIFIC up by my house! Again, the moles seem to love the ecoshield product. Ecoshield products ATTRACT pests and cause MORE PEST INFESTATION. When I call Ecoshield to get customer service, I am always routed to a national call center where they do nothing but read from scripts. There is absolutely ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
