      I paid $5.00 for a TRIAL, and one time look **** I cancelled in ample time for the trial, I even sent an email to ************************** and told them I cancelled, yet ************************** charged my account anyway. In fact that charged me at 3:30 AM after attempting many times before until it went Thur. I started email communication with them that day . **** ****** from whitepages emailed me back(emails included in this complaint) stating my refund was being processed. A week went by no refund, so I again emailed, and The same **** ****** stated he could not give me my refund . I sent him the email he sent stating my refund was already being processed! I want my money back. I never sighed up for or gave any permission for a monthly subscription to **************************

      We appreciate your understanding that by agreeing to the terms of service when you signed up for the subscription, we're unable to process a refund.

      Your request to stop future billing has been completed, and you should not see any additional charges on the account associated with your email address, unless you decide to make a new purchase.

      The cancelation and refund confirmation **** sent you are for the account you created using the email ****************************. Once you sign into that account you are able to view your billing information. The last time you made a Payment using this email was on January 22, 2024.

      Reason for this confirmation: Customer contacted ********************** from the email that has a canceled account and a courtesy refund.

      Account with recent purchase and disputed charge is linked to another email.

       
      Since then, customer created multiple other trial accounts using different emails.
       
      For any further dispute we recommend contacting your bank directly. They will be able to not only investigate the transactions further but also provide support and direction on next steps.

      I have two charges of ***** on my **** debit card. The date is oct 7 ,charges show for the 9th as it is a weekend. But I have no idea what they are and how they are allowed to take money from my account. I didnt use any white pages, and specifically none from the **, I am in ******. I want my money back, this is fraud, Anyone tell me how to correct this and never have them go into my account again, how the h*** did they get in there in the first place???? This is corruption and not right at all.Thank you,*****.

      This website has sensitive and person data information about myself, my family, and my friends. This information was collected non-consensually and they do not have my consent to display this information. They will not let me file profile removals, since they claim that my phone number can't be used to do this and to contact customer support. However, there is no option to contact them anywhere on the website. Having this information up is extremely dangerous and compromises the safety of everybody.       I do not have account w/**********************. They sent me an email telling me to update my payment info and said notified credit card on file not valid. Called support to have them remove ALL my data from their website. *** was talking gibberish, did not understand my request and would not send me to a supervisor. I want written confirmation that ALL of my data is PERMANENTLY REMOVED from white pages website.

      Accounts save some details associated with your method of payment, to make it easier to sign up if you need the services again in the future. This was an automated reminder that the previous method of payment would no longer work, due to the upcoming expiration date.

      If you wish to use the service again in the future, you may need to add a new method of payment with a current expiration date. You can complete this through the Payment section in your Account Settings.

      At this time, we do not have any options available for the removal of a payment method from an account.       On May 31, 2025, I paid $1 for a 5-day trial membership with the intention of viewing phone numbers and addresses listed on the company's website. This membership was advertised as granting access to contact information for various profiles.Initially, I was able to view the phone number and address of one or two profiles. However, shortly afterward, the feature stopped working. When I attempted to click on additional profiles or view phone numbers, I was redirected to a page prompting me to purchase a separate "premium business" background report despite the fact that access to phone numbers and addresses was included in the membership I had already paid for.When I contacted customer service, I was told there was nothing wrong with the website and that the issue was somehow due to my own actions. This response was both unhelpful and dismissive. The company is engaging in deceptive and misleading practices by advertising one level of access, delivering a very limited version of it, and then attempting to upsell a more expensive product almost immediately.I am requesting a full refund of the $1 charge and would like this business investigated for potential deceptive marketing practices. I have retained screenshots of the website behavior and my payment confirmation for reference.This experience felt misleading and unethical, and I want to prevent others from falling into the same situation.

      I have contacted ************************** multiple times, including emailing the Ceo, but have gotten no reply. They refuse to remove listings for my dead grandmother, ***** *****, who died in 2002, and my dead stepmother, ****** Contach, who died in 2003. I could not find the listings, but my dead father, ****** ***** who died in 2004, and my dead mother ***** ***** who died in 2013, and my other grandmother ***** **** who died in 2012 I also want removed if they are listed/in the records.They list associates, like various people search/data broker sites, which are fraudulent, and these people are long dead. They should be allowed to rest in peace.Associated addresses are:***************************************************************************************************************************** Myrtle ST ***** MA Park ************* ** ************************* ** ****************************** a *********************** the only phone number I can recall is my family's number from about 1978 or so until my mother's death in 2013, which was ************.       Looking on this site, I see I am not the only person that has been scammed by the Whitepages. Being an elderly senior on disability I dont have a huge income and would never ever agree to paying $104.99 monthly nor agreed to do such. Being that White pages does not have you sign nor give you an actual agreement its hard to dispute with the bank to have charges reversed.I did agree to $1 trial and liked it and said I would do the $19.99 month. Next thing I know Im being ********** glad to see that there have been nearly 500 complaints with almost exact situation. Hopefully this will have the company looked into and change their policy to give accountability for their deceiving customers. Im so surprised as I know the ********************** have been around a long time and am quite surprised they have to use these types of tactics to get business.I know I wont recommend them to anyone and in fact will tell others not to use.

      No refunds were issued as part of handling your billing request. We review account history to determine if the purchased services were utilized. In this case, we can confirm that the services were used in full  for the period billed. As a result, no refunds will be provided since the product was available as intended.

      A request to upgrade your membership was done on January 11, 2025, after using all 200 lookups that came with your $19.99 promotional rate. You made an upgrade for 500 lookups at $104.99 each month, since the upgrade we have provided the services as per your request.

      On May 28, from my Iphone, I purchased a Premium membership $1 Five-Day Trail of ************************** Upon registration to the site, I was taken to a page for additional services. I did not want additional services, so I scrolled down a bit and saw a enlarged letters that said "Confirm subscription" which I assumed was referring to my $1 subscription. I pressed confirm. I went back looking at the people section and I opened-up a few background reports. They were useless because I couldn't open up additional addresses. I looked at two others. I then went to my account and saw that I was being charged $49.95 for background checks. THIS WAS TOTALLY UNCLEAR TO ME and I realized that I must have pressed the "confirm subscripton" erronously. Investigating futhur I noticed that there was a credit point system attached to the background reports and I had used 3 credits of 5 and I linked it in my head to the background check that I had MISTAKENLY hit early when I bought the $1 premium subscript for five days. The site was very misleading -- and confusing. I was not informed that the premium trail did not include other services and therefore, I was mislead. The policy set by the company is unchanging and would not allow me a refund for the three so-called credits I had used mistakenly, thinking it was a part of the premium membership.
