I have tried to file the opt out form in their website, I have emailed their customer support, no help whatsoever. My PRIVATE information is on their website ***************************************************************************************** They refuse to take down the page. It is my phone number, I own it, I pay for it, I have had the number for 20+ years. I do NOT want this website to be connection to ANY of my personal information. It shows that I live in *****, that is alreadya red flag and displaying too much personal information. I work in law enforcement and this is a security risk. I don't know how else I am to respond to this message other than, please read my complaint. I literally placed the link in question inside of the complaint, it's still a void link, and my concern still stands as I originally stated.
To BBB, please do not allow the company to "close" the complaint. They did NOT address my concern and everything they need is found in my original complaint. To claim it's not valid is just not true. Copy the link, paste it into the browser, and what you see is my issue. It is my phone number and my personal information I do not have control over.

I was helping my father use Whitepages' opt-out feature, they require a robo call to input a code, each time it was met with a robotic voice saying "Application error, goodbye." and it'd hang up. The final time I tried to input the code as it was in the process of saying application error thinking it was a bug and might still register if I was fast enough and it proceeded to end the call before the pre-recorded message even finished leading me to believe it might be a tactic to just make people avoid going through with it because they have to jump through hoops to do so, like filing a BBB complaint.Business Response

I have been receiving spam emails that contain my personal information, which are listed on Whitepages. I would like to request the removal of my personal information from the Whitepages website:*********************************************************************************** I initially tried to remove my information via their opt-out site, but got an error message stating, "Too many suppression requests have been submitted for this listing. The refund is due to that charge was based on unauthorized charge, which I did not approve or paid on due to false pretenses and my account should have been canceled before that charge was falsely done out of my account. I joined White Pages on a 5-day trial for$1.00, After the trial the cost is to be $19.99 I began the trial on Dec 20, 2024. The trial ended on Dec 25, 2024. Since the trial ended on Dec 25, 2024, I should now be able to cancel it, as Dec 25 is a national holiday. I want to cancel the trial. Their site indicated that even if the trial is cancelled they will continue to charge my account! I would like my membership cancelled with no recurring fees!Business Response

I receive calls scams emails from everywhere. Addressed to address to *******************. He has never had this phone number. I have talked to him personally and complained that I get his c*** all the time. I would like to formally complain that this is interfering with my life and my business and my family. I demand that you rescind this information on my phone number and delete the link to *** ******. This has been going on for at least 5 years and I am sick to death of it.
