  The process of requesting information deletion is too difficult. They require a phone number that can receive calls as part of the process, which is an accessibility issue for people who are hard of hearing as well as economically or otherwise unable to have a phone. In their dropdown menu they actually offer "I am being harassed or stalked" as a reason for takedown, yet they make you jump through all these hoops to get data removed... clearly not concerned about safety.

  Absolutely ******************* Avoid Whitepages Inc. at all costs. I utilized the service back in November 2022. I paid in FULL $9.99 for the background check I needed using a CC. I read that the monthly subscription of $4.99 would renew automatically however I clicked on the auto-renew to shut it off so that I would not be billed.During an audit this week I was informed that Whitepages Inc. has been auto-deducting the $4.99 from my account since November 2022. I contacted Whitepages Inc. and informed them of the issue and demanded they reimburse me for the full amount that they have frauded from me. I was informed that the best they can do is $4.99 X2 and would not reimburse me any further. Visitor -As you can see by reviewing my acct. that I paid the $9.99 for the background report I needed. Along with that was a $4.99 charge against my credit card every month since that date which is not what I agreed to.******-Okay I see. And you mentioned you cancelled the auto-renewal on both of the accounts or only one of them?Visitor -both of the accounts were completed immediately after. As you can see I always paid the full amount and never utilized the auto renew nor wanted it **************** your account, I was not able to locate any cancellation attempt besides today. However, the best in what I'd be able to do is to issue a refund of the last two charges. Normally there would be a processing fee of $4.99 seeing that the request is being made outside of the 5 days grace ******* however, we can proceed with a full refund of the last two charges seeing there's no usage between these two months.Kurtis-Sorry, the processing fee would be $2.99, but it's waved I wish BBB did not require a star rating. There should be a negative rating allowed as this is a horrible business practice that is being allowed. I hope a class action is done soon against them.

  SCAM!!! I signed up for a $1.00 "TRIAL" service. Without my authorization they set up a "MONTHLY CHARGE" of $20 on my Paypal account after I called to cancel the service the day after I signed up for the trial!!! Then when I called to complain, they said they would refund only $15.00 of the $20.00 they charged due to some kind of fee! A complete SCAM!!!!

  This is a scam. Paid 93 cents for an advertised one time purchase to view an address. Then; learned this one time advertised purchase turned into an unadvertised rotating monthly fee of $29.95, if not cancel within 30 days. This is not advertised when obtaining a purchase of a phone #, email, address, or any other info. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

  They charged me *****. They had 3 old phone numbers and wanted ro charge double to provide the email address. All I wanted was an email address and I indicated this upon inquiring ib the site. They ask you to check what you need. I feel its a scam and its unfortunate they are allowed ro do this to people. I paid ***** ro be told I would have to pay more. ***************************

  White Pages is cool and fun sometimes They advertised an upgrade for ten dollars. When I agreed, they billed my card for over a hundred dollars

  I have never used this company before, but after cancelling my services with BeenVerified, I began receiving charges to my credit card account. Since the charges began right after cancelling my BeenVerified account (2 days) I believe they are connected.

  For a company that is "Building trusted connections in today's digital world", Whitepages, **** lists a wrong name, address, relatives, etc. when I enter my landline number of 30+ years that is also an unlisted number. Total breach of privacy and lack of data integrity ... very disappointing.

  Total garbage. Pay for a service you do not recieve. Then they ask for more money to get what you already paid for absolute garbage stay away from these crooks. I complained to them on thier website and they blocked me so now I can not even get the garbage I paid for. We all should get together and *** this company for fraud.

  I would give Whitepages NO stars. They provided no substantial information on their background check, charged more for the ENHANCED check which promises court runner reporting within 1-3 days and after 8 days, nothing has changed. *** emailed and called and they promised to send my request to their admin department for rush expediting last week. Absolutely unreliable. Do not waste your money. Im waiting now for my guaranteed money-back refund. Ill post when I get it.
