Senske Services were hired to kill the beetles infesting our Snowball ****. After two applications of their spray the beetles were unaffected. We terminated that service but are still expected to pay.Initial Complaint

We hired Senske Services to manage our weed growth in our new home. Their technician killed one of our brand new trees on the first visit and Senske's customer service has been extremely poor. This is a brand new home in a brand new development. These trees were placed as part of our landscaping. I showed Senske pictures of the green tree prior to service, and the dead one about a month later. They agreed it must have been sprayed by the weed treatment. Since then, I've received one visit from a technician. They simply sprayed it with fertilizer and told me it would fix it. It's been months and I've left multiple voicemails for leadership with no response. They've chosen to ignore my issue and their mistake. My tree is ruined and Senske Services have decided it's not a priority to address their mistakes. We initially hired Senske in July. We've spent around $300-$400 just in the last couple of months. ***** ******** is the branch manager who has choosen to ignore my complaints.Initial Complaint

I sought lawn care from Ace of Blades, PLLC in **********, ***They started off good but then slowly got worse and worse; especially regarding weed control. I have emailed, called, and sent pictures and videos of the weeds. I have spoken to their call center after hours as well as their physical office. They never seem to identify the weeds I see every day. I have told them I am not paying for their service when they cant return my emails or calls. They are billing me for service manager calls of $175 whatever that is for Im not sure. Bottom line is they are not fulfilling what I hired them for. They have billed me for $175 for fertilization which I havent paid because they leave my invoice on my neighbors door and leave theirs on mine so Im not sure if they really know whose lawn they treated and whose they havent. The lawn manager call is complete nonsense and Im not paying it.Initial Complaint

Senske came out in August to perform an aeration treatment. I was called by tec that he had accidentally crack my drain pipe cover and had reported it to his supervisor. My wife called and told me of several areas in our yard that had been damaged from the machine and also damage to fence on our north side and also that almost half the back yard was not aerated. I never heard from Senske for over 8 days and sent a message to their headquarters. I was told area supervisor would contact me in ***** hours which turned out to be 96. He said they would have tech fix the damage and replace cover. A month later nothing but a wrong size cover has been repaired. They are also requesting payment of $150 for a job they did not complete.Initial Complaint

I paid Senske for the season. I had one service done. When I felt it was time I called as they never contacted me for the next service. I scheduled a date and time and they were no shows. I had no patience for a company who has been paid to wait for me to call to schedule, and then when I do they are no shows. I asked for a refund. I was told a check was mailed June 26th which is a long time to wait. The check never came. I called again. They said they would send another and verified my address. I still have yet to see that check and it has been about a month or longer. I am about to file a suit against them and charge them for time off work and legal fees. I will slander their name and business heavily online and with anyone asking for recommendations. This company is horrible and should be fined for stealing.Initial Complaint

Senske services was to provide lawn care monthly.On July 24th, they came to my house, spent 4 minutes doing a lawn treatment.Fertilizer granules was almost not here, they were spread out to 6 inches apart.I called to have them redo the service. No response. I called again, no response.Cancelled my service with them and tried to pay my bill minus the last service which they are unable to remove from my bill. Twice I was told a supervisor would contact me, Nothing.I want to pay the balance of my bill but am unable to at this time.Customer Answer

I hired ***** to take care of the weeds that were growing in my lawn. They physically came out and viewed my lawn and guaranteed they could get the weeds out of my lawn. I have had to reach out to them after every service because the weeds were not dying. In fact they were getting worse. Finally after the fourth service i cancelled the service and requested the money I had paid to them be refunded since they did not take care of the weeds at all. Out of the $268 they only refunded $42. I have requested a manager to call me multiple times and they refuse to contact me.Initial Complaint

Dear BBB Representative,I am filing a complaint against Senske Services regarding an unresolved billing issue. In May 2024, I signed up for their lawn care program after solicitation calls. The sales representative informed me that the service was a monthly subscription for $71.00 plus tax, with the option to cancel anytime.I canceled at the end of May, but Senske is now demanding $240.24, claiming their service is billed in installments, which contradicts what I was told. I am willing to pay for one month, totaling $78.24.I have attempted to resolve this issue directly with Senske Services, but they have been unresponsive. *****************************, their Application Manager, took two weeks to respond via email after our call and insisted on the $240.24 payment without evidence. I received no reply to my email until an account statement email on August 6th.I believe I am being unfairly charged for services I did not agree to. Key points include:1. I have a voicemail from Senske stating my balance upon cancellation was $78.24.2. An account statement dated June 17th incorrectly claimed I owed $318.48, later corrected to $240.24 by ******, demonstrating inconsistencies in their billing process.3. During a call on July 8th, ****** promised to review the original sales call recording to verify the agreement terms but failed to provide any updates until July 24th. He then informed me that he could not obtain the recording but continued to insist on the $240.24 payment.4. I provided my credit card information to Senske for the $78.24 charge, but it was never processed.5. Attempts to pay $78.24 through their online portal were unsuccessful due to login issues.I have attached supporting evidence, including email correspondence and a voicemail transcript. I request the BBB's assistance in correcting my account balance to the agreed $78.24.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I paid for thier bug service online. Printed out my receipt and didn't think anything else on the matter. When my credit card statement came I saw I was billed for $886.10 which is a prepay for the years services,which i figured would cover all services for the year so it was ok. Forward 3 months down the road and I am getting bills for the services that they performed since then. I called them to ask ******* were charging me since they had charged me for the full price of the prepay amount back in April. The lady there says " you didn't pay anymore than $94.15". Meanwhile I am looking at my credit card statement that shows that they charged me the $886.10 on the day she is saying that they charged me the $94.15. She then refuses to even try to help me and tells me that I need to pay my account up to date and call my credit card if I have any questions on the charge, since there isn't anyway they charged me more than the $94.15.Initial Complaint

I contacted Senske and requested an estimate for the water spigot that comes out from my house above ground under the belief that this estimate was free. Senske has incorrectly stated that I was informed that it would not be in fact free. It is deceiving to not tell the customer up front that they will be charged, I do not agree with this business practice and I was never given the opportunity to be informed of the cost that would be involved. Considering I was not informed up front I do not agree with being billed and would like to reach a resolution to this matter.
