      I submitted information to Northwest Registered Agent LLC for them to register a business for me in *******. AFTER submitting the order and credit card details they asked me to verify that they were to become my registered agent for the new company (for a monthly fee, not revealed before the transaction), and did not allow me to change this.I consider this a "bait and switch", as I had expressly selected that I myself (a ******* resident) would be my own registered agent.Again, this information was not revealed until AFTER payment was submitted.

      I can confirm that all services have been terminated for the company you originally wanted to cancel, and at no cost to you. Even though our services no longer apply to this company (****** **************** & Structures LLC), you still have access to your documents and invoices in your online account.

      As for your other company ******************************* LLC), I apologize again for the confusion that led to its being canceled, too. I understand you worked with our Corporate Guide, ******** Lately, and found a resolution that is to your satisfaction. With your permission, you'll notice that we've added a new invoice to your account for filing your reinstatement and past annual report. This $500 invoice includes the $375 state filing fee and our $125 filing fee. However, we are happy to offer you 2 years of our registered agent service for free, which will save you $250. You will find that your account has been credited for 2 years, and you are now covered for our registered agent service until 2025.

As our Corporate Guides have since explained to you, we were initially unable to locate the account referenced in your complaint because it was registered under a different name. However, now that we fully understand your situation, we are more than happy to offer your requested resolution of a refund and cancellation of our services.

      As of Friday, March 10, 2023 we have canceled our Registered Agent and Renewal services for your companys account. We also refunded you both the $125 annual fee for our registered agent service, as well as the fee we charged for filing the companys annual report. You will no longer receive any charges from us in regards to these services.

      Because we are no longer acting as your registered agent, wed like to remind you that we will no longer be filing your companys annual documentation with the Secretary of State.       Northwest sent me an invoice for $125 dollars saying for the renewal of my LLC, but i already renewed it by myself, I dont need a company to do it for me. I have sent them an email last year because the same issue happened, and I actually paid but this year I said no, there is no way they can charge me $125 for something that I can do in 5 min for free. Now they keep sending me an invoice, not sure for what. I just want to be done with this company. There is no where in the website to cancel the services. Please just stop charging me for services that I dont need.

It is true that there is a $125 charge on your account, but this charge is not for filing your annual report. Instead, this $125 was a charge for our Registered Agent service from when you were a client, which included our acting as your registered agent and accepting service of process on your business behalf.

      Were sorry to lose your business, but I promise that we dont make things purposefully difficult when it comes to canceling our services.       Northwest Registered Agent fraudulently charged for service that was not provided and are attempting to charge an additional fee to correct their failure to provide service. The failed to submit yearly compliance filing and allowed our business to be administratively dissolved and now want to charge us for the state reinstatement fee. They have continued to charge monthly for service that they knew had not been provided.Their customer ********************** representative stated that they handle too many accounts to be able to notify of pending dissolution and misrepresented their fees in claiming that the normal reinstatement would be $200 and they were only going to do it for only $100 despite causing the charge in the first place. The state fee is $100 and the other $100 is the annual filing fee that they have represented as some sort of discount despite having already collected it in the $120 charged so far for service this year on a business filing they knew was being dissolved because they didn't file.

      After a week of dealing with Northwest Registered Agent, this complaint has been resolved.


      As always their people are exceedingly friendly and upbeat.  They managed to get the filings corrected and business reinstated at no additional cost and have adjusted their workflow to help prevent this from happening again.  I wish it could've been resolved without having to start the complaint process in the first place.  Still though, I am satisfied with the resolution offered and appreciate the efforts made to resolve this issue.

      This business service sent me an invoice for $125 for renewing my PLLC through the state of *******. I have asked them to cancel my services with them and to stop billing me. They told me no. Is it ok for businesses to just tell you "no" when you wish to cancel their services? I thought I was paying only for a registered agent address. Come to find out - I already had this service through another company. This is all new to me - creating a PLLC - but I will say that their ""We're just not annoying" slogan has definitely not held true for me. They sent an email saying that if I did not pay the invoice, my business was not going to be in good standing and it was going to become very costly for me. With that kind of threat, it feels like I'm dealing with the Mob. I told them I don't want to renew my PLLC and they told me that then I would have to pay them to dissolve it. I'm just a solo therapist with a part time practice online. How this got so complicated and I've gotten in a position of a company basically telling me there is no way out of our business relationship (and subsequent charges from them) unless I pay more and more and more. It's not only annoying - it's also maddening.

While this is something we can do for you, you can also do it yourself by filing for your companys dissolution with the ********** of ****** On their website, the Florida ********** of ****** ******** of Corporations includes directions and the correct forms you need to dissolve your company. You can also feel free to use the Forms Library resource in your online account. Like the ********** of ****** website, this resource also includes the forms and directions you need to file for dissolution on your own.

      While we would hate to lose you as a customer, I want to assure you that you absolutely have the right to cancel your services with us. You can cancel any time through your online account, but if you dont wish to do this online, well be happy to do it for you without any additional fees. Once your companys dissolution with the state is complete, give us a call or send us an email and well make sure your service is canceled at no extra cost to you.

      This company acts on it's on best interest not the best interest of the client. Once they file what ever they file...they renew your monthly payments unbeknownst to you, and then try to charge you for the ENTIRE AMOUNT in order for you to cancel the payment plan you did not agree too.       We created our Corporate Guide Service so that clients could break down the total cost of their business formation and our registered agent service into 12 monthly payments rather than having to pay for it all at once. The monthly payments for your first year of Corporate Guide Service included the cost of our registered agent service, a convenience fee, the state formation filing fees, and registering for an EIN. When you entered the second year of service, your monthly cost only included our registered agent service and a convenience fee, as well as the fee the Secretary of State charges businesses to file an annual report.

      I apologize that this was not made clearer when you initially signed up for our services, but I assure you were more than happy to provide you with the resolution youre looking for. Weve canceled your services and all active invoices without any extra cost to you.

      Per your request, we will not be contacting you again outside of the BBB but please feel free free to contact us again if this solution is not to your satisfaction.

      This business is selling at service to residents of ****** like myself but they fail to tell you that they cannot forward physical mail to you in the ***************. Thus, you can only view your ** Postal Service mail online at their website for a fee of $15 per view per mail piece. This means they are actually withholding your federal mail. I feel that should be a federal crime. They tell me they do not offer mail forwarding service in the ***************, yet they are selling their service to people in ******. Like myself. I paid for months and then I found out that I cannot get my mail from them I have to live in a different state. I have contacted them and I have a reply from them on two occasions. They say they are not in the wrong and they are still billing me for their services..

      I started doing business with Northwest Registered Agent in 2021. They instructed me to make a deposit then monthly payments. They stated that these fees would cover registering my business with the state of New Jersey. Then when I tried to find this, so- called registration with my state, it was nowhere to be found. So then the company sends me some link to download some cheesy looking registration. *** had a lot going on so i let it go. Then recently, I told them i needed to change 2 words in my companys name and they charged me to do this, and still i am not able to be found through my state. So today, i decided Im done being scammed and tried to cancel this subscription and of course theyre trying to charge me a remaining balance for that. This company has not done what they claimed i paid them to do and now theyre still trying to rip me off rather than just cancel my subscription and refund me all the got me for. Companies like Northwest Registered Agent and the like who lie and rip people thats trying to start a business, are contributors to the suicide rate in ******* cause they never know what kind of people theyre causing damage to.

      First, Id like to assure we are not scamming you. We are a legitimate registered agent service who also specializes in formation services. That being said, I apologize for what seems to be a miscommunication about what our monthly service includes.

      The first year you signed up with us, your monthly fee covered the cost of our registered agent service, the **************** formation filing fees, registering for an EIN, and our convenience fee for breaking up the total cost into monthly payments. Now that you have entered your second year of doing business with us, your monthly fee includes our registered agent service and the convenience fee, as well as the cost to file your annual report with the *******************. I apologize if this was not made clear when you decided to continue to do business with us.

      However, this monthly fee does not cover the cost of filing whatever amendments you wish to file with the state. When you contacted us in April to change your companys name, we were happy to do so, but in order to complete your request, you were charged the $104 the ******************* requires to file an amendment to change your name, as well as our $100 filing fee.

      Like our representative explained in a chat conversation on 8/24/2022, because youve paid at least 5 months of said monthly fee, the cost of your annual report has been covered and were more than willing to cancel your service without maintaining the monthly costs for the rest of the year.

      Weve reached out several times: by phone on 9/6/2022 and 9/7/2022, and by email on 9/7/2022, but we have yet to hear back from you. Please know that we are willing to offer a resolution and work with you to find a solution that benefits you. Hopefully well be able to remedy the situation.

      I apologize again for the confusion. Wed like to offer a solution if we can, so please contact us so that we can remedy the situation.
