      Your friendly and professional technicians contacted me 15 minutes before their arrival. The window that needed to be replaced was under warranty and located 14 feet above the floor. They were able to complete the job very efficiently in a minimal amount of time. I am very impressed with Milgard's service.

      Your service technician gave m e a call maybe 45 minutes prior to arriving. Personally I really a contractor when they keep me in the loop as it regards to timing. Very professional and personable. It was a confirmation for me that I was not going crazy. The door lock was broken or had been damaged. They did not repair what was broken - they replaced the entire assembly! I feel confident that I will get the life expectancy on this new door lock. I can't believe how quiet this new locking system is. My old lock set must have been damaged for quite some time. The new one works PERFECTLY!

      Black Trinsic windows and doors are a huge disappointment. We had Milgard windows in a previous home and loved them so we sought them out for the latest house we built. We chose the black Trinsic line. What a mistake. We have been on the home a little over a year. In that time, we have had 10+ vents replaced because the corner welds in the vinyl failed. We had to have the three large slider doors (8' tall) replaced because they could NOT be removed from the frames for service. So new 'custom' sliders had to be made to fit. The other issue is that there are many many places where you see white in the product and apparently, it is an impossible task for Milgard to touch up these areas with black. We have had probably 20 service calls between the window/door installer and Milgard to get these issues sorted out to be left with a product that is inferior. Look to ******** or Pella.
