    I bought 3 Steam cards valued at $20 each and each card gave me an error that said it had already been redeemed even though I am the one who scratched the codes off on the backs of the cards. Dollar General could not help me and Steam also refused to help me. I am now out $60 and have nothing to show for it.

    I bought Borderlands 3 on 8/22/24. The game keeps crashing and I can't even launch the game. I did contact Steam about this issue and there's no response. I am taking this as scam as they have not contacted me back yet. Why is Borderlands 3 having launch issues? (The game keeps crashing, can't launch the Borderlands 3). Sea of Thieves I am having the same issue with as well.

    On March 11, we purchased a game from this vendor for our son using his Christmas funds. My son tried for a few hours to understand and play the game but he was unable to figure it out. He was too young for this game, it was too advanced for him. We went to the vendor to return the game since it was unusable and they refused to grant us a refund. Even a credit on our account to get a game that he could use was denied. Now my son is out his Christmas gift since we are on a budget and don't have the funds available to purchase another game. We are very disappointed with this vendor. We have tried numerous times to get a refund from this vendor and are filing this as a last resort.

    Purchased Cyberpunk 2077 on 15 August, 7 days ago to play on my Steam Deck. I made the purchase because it was advertised on the steam store as playable and supported on Steam Deck. After purchasing it I spent ~6 hours attempting to play it but no matter what settings I used to include the ones labeled Steam Deck in the game it was laggy, choppy and locked up repeatedly. The game is unplayable on my Steam Deck.When I attempted to get a refund it was denied because according to policy it was played over 2 hours and was not eligible for refund. I feel duped due to it being advertised as playable and disappointed I cannot get a refund for a game that is unplayable. This is at a minimum misleading advertising and more towards false advertising. I have taken every step I know to get the game to play smoothly enough to enjoy and now I am being penalized for the attempt because it took over 2 hours. The majority of that time was waiting on the game to quit lagging long enough to try another fix or at least move in the game.

    I understand Steam's Policy when it comes to wallet funds, but I really don't understand this. I am looking at closing my account, and I have 80 dollars left in my account balance. I am no longer going to be using steam as I switched from Windows to Apple and Apple cannot play the steam games that are in my library. In order for me to close the account, ****************** is saying I would need to purchase a game, which is baffling me, since I am no longer using the service or no longer purchasing games from them. I would like to request a one time request for a check to be sent to me.

    A monthly subscription was purchased for the video game Star Wars The Old Republic. After purchase it did not activate. I waited a day and still no activation. Doing some research in their game forums I discovered this was an ongoing problem and Steam which is owned by Valve were not refunding. I contacted the game itself and they said that because it was purchased through the Steam platform they are responsible, Steam twice tried to pass the **** and they wrote a message to me saying they had no access to the activation system. My response to them if that's true why are you selling a subscription that your company can not support and also if you have no access, then how do you have access to selling the subscriptions in the first place. Others have suffered the same losses to no response or settlement from Valve. It is the principal of selling a service they cannot support and leaving people out to dry. It is unethical and criminal.*******************************

    Date of Transaction:August 2, 2024 Amount:$64.55 USD Nature of the Dispute:I purchased Aerofly FS 4 on Steam for $64.55, intending to use it for a VR business study. The product did not meet my expectations, so I requested a refund, specifying that it be credited to my Steam account for future purchases. However, the refund was issued to my bank on August 8, 2024, contrary to my request. I received no explanation for this.After the refund, my Steam account was flagged for fraudulent activity and restricted. Steam notified me by email, but I cannot access it because my account is locked. This has left me unable to resolve the issue.I created a new account to communicate with Steam, but it also faced login issues. I am now locked out of both accounts and unable to address the problem.Efforts to Resolve:Ive never had issues with Steam before this incident. I made the refund request directly through Steam, selecting "accidental purchase" as the reason, not intending to suggest fraud. There was no clear indication that this would lead to scrutiny of my account.I have tried contacting Steam support, but have only received automated responses. The suggested QR code process did not work, and I remain unable to access my accounts or get assistance.Resolution Sought:I seek the restoration of my original Steam account and an explanation for its flagging. Additionally, I would like assurance that future refunds can be credited to my Steam account as requested. I hope Valve will address this complaint through BBB's mediation to resolve the matter amicably.

    They have locked my account due to suspicious activity, I have contacted them multiple times willing to prove ownership of my account and they refuse to assist to me in the matter. I have had this account for 15+ years and never had a single issue with the company but I have now been wrongfully locked from full access to my account and unable to get it unlocked. I have tried multiple times and keep getting the same response with zero effort from their support to help me address whatever issue arised to cause the lock and remove it.

    I was gifted a discounted version of the game Riven during the Steam Summer ***** and was informed I needed to accept it by August 6. When I attempted to accept the gift on August 6, I was informed it was too late and that the gift had been revoked. I supported a help ticket, but was ultimately informed there was nothing they could do, even though THEY were the ones who made the error.

    In 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, I purchased multiple products including Valve Index Controller sets through various Steam accounts. Unfortunately, these controllers broke, prompting me to open a support ticket for repairs. Despite answering all questions, I occasionally missed responses due to my busy schedule, leading to ticket closures and the need to start new tickets, referencing previous ones.Throughout this process, I provided requested system reports via email multiple times. However, the support team claimed they did not receive them and continued to request the reports. Recently, I was informed that my controllers are now out of warranty, even though my initial contact to support was well within the warranty period. I suspect that the prolonged and repetitive nature of the support process was a tactic to delay and ultimately deny my warranty claim.The Steam accounts I used are ************, isaboztemir, themagnifisa, usamycabr, and faycayucesoy. Unfortunately, I am unable to determine which set was purchased through which account because serial numbers are not provided in purchase details, nor have I received official invoices for these transactions. To date, I have made at least $20,000 in purchases through these accounts. I am disappointed by Valve Corporations lack of attention to customer satisfaction and respect.
