    Date of the transaction:Feb 2, 2023 The amount of money paid:560 USD Nature of ******************* did not allow me to purchase, and then banned my account, with 560 USD dollar remains in it.My girlfriend decided to surprise me with a Steam Deck for my birthday. She has never used steam before but she tried to figure it out for me, but she ended up got two of her account banned, one of which has **************** the wallet.Here is the detail:For the first account, she tried to make the purchase using her credit card, and got permanantly locked. She thought it was because the credit card. Her credit card is issued in *********, but is able to pay using multiple currencies, it worked well every where in US.For the second account, she redeemed some gift cards. On top of that, she used the credit again to pay the rest 6 dollars. Her account got locked again, this time, with ******************** it.After this, We have been constantly trying to contact Steam Support. Not only they only responded in a same formulate way, but also did not inform anything whatsoever about the reason for the ban.We would like to:1. contact by a real human from Steam Support instead of automated reply.2. have our account back.3. get a refund of 560 USD.

    I need help with a customer support request for my ******************************************* Deck (Account: glurgy, Ticket: HT-34PV-8W3N-****) that has been ongoing for almost a month. The system has multiple issues including an audio **** that does not work with headphones, games that constantly crash, and a UI that crashes too. The support thread has been unhelpful with every response coming from a different representative who doesn't read the previous comments. They have asked me to answer questions I've already answered and to reformat the system even though the provided links don't work. I've requested to send the deck in for repair but have received no response. The best solution would be for Valve to repair the deck in-house.

    My autistic 14 year old son was falsely reported on his Steam gaming account for conducting trading of gaming goods. He was forced to have me provide $115 to verify his account, through a 3rd party website. They forced him with threats of deleting his account. This is extortion, as they were unable to provide any proof of misconduct.

    The game console I bought from steam was delivered by mistake. I contacted steam and asked them to find ***** to verify the situation.     Hello. I purchased a game from steam for $63.59. it was the wrong game, so i requested a refund and one was supposed to be issued to me. the problem is the refund was issued to my "steam wallet" , and i assumed i could use the money to buy the correct game. well apparently steam will not let me use the money. they are trying to scam me. they want me to purchase the game AGAIN with real money so they can make more money off of me, instead of letting me purchase the game with the $63.59 that is in my steam wallet. this is a very shady business practice and somebody needs to put a stop to it. they are literally scamming people. if i can not use the money that is in my steam wallet then i need them to refund the money to my bank account so i can purchase the item i want. i contacted steam support and they are ignoring me.

    Application which I have used for 14 years and am an active consumer purchasing many games through the application decides to ban my profile and account without any given reason. The only thing that is noteworthy is that in the last week I filed multiple complaints about a user who was consistently being combative, trolling, using political and racial language to bully others, and even had alternative account names that were clearly inappropriate. Yet despite this it feels as if some moderator is protecting this individual and now using bans as a means to silence them. The explanation they gave is '13 week ban for creating alt accounts to avoid a ban' yet my account wasn't banned during any of that time nor do I have or have needed any alt accounts as I'm a regular contributor to the community on my only account.

    Hi,I am looking for assistance in dealing with Valve Corporation. I attempted to purchase a Steam Deck (video game system) and several video games from their online store. For some unknown reason my account has been flagged for "fraudulent activity" and all my purchases were been canceled and refunded, despite not being fraudulent. I have attempted to contact Steam Support by phone and their website multiples times with no response. The last message I received from Steam Support was from last week, asking for information confirming my account. I supplied that information ASAP, but have not received anything in return. I'm simply looking to speak to someone at the company to resolve the matter, and have access to my purchases and account. I'm not really sure why they are not responding and why it is so difficult to contact them.I would appreciate any and all help the Better Business Bureau can provide in seeking a resolution to this matter. *********************

    On Feb 1st 2023 I used the permenently delete game function on the steam launcher to get rid of a game account that I needed a new game key for, when I re purchased the game I found that they gave me the same key back, I tried to refund it but their bots denied it, I made a ticket and it was responded to with information that was not relevant, the second time after my problem wasn't resolved they told me I can get a refund and roll the game back to the original purchase, they sent me back to their bots and it was denied repeatedly, i paid 83.86$ total for the purchase. There was no clear description of the permanently delete game function witch is verry misleading and there were no prompts telling me I was buying the same game back. My ticket numbers are HT-747N-KJWV-34NK and HT-****-YGB3-VC86

    I was served with an email alerting me that my STEAM account gsang728 was blocked on February 4, but only because of a like I made in 2020. At the time of the like, I had no idea what was going on. I checked the threads and found that this is not the first time steam has done this, their staff delete posts they don't like and then ban the sender, and the person who liked the comment! This is really incomprehensible. Even the sender of the comment was the game's official Chinese translation team. I tried to contact customer service twice, but no one responded at all, they have an expensive draw, but the worst service. I wish I could unblock my account.

    I got locked out of my account 2 months ago and have been trying to get in touch with their support team I've even found and emailed supervisors on the team about helping me get access to my account and I have received no help not even a reply email from the company to help resolve my issue. I have spent quite a bit of money over the years of purchasing games and in game purchases. I would very much like them to help aide me in getting my account back so I can enjoy the games I have purchased. Or at least refund all of my transactions over the years so I can start a new account.
