    I bought the game elder ring from steam which i played for 3 hours. Due to glitches, freezes in game, and poor quality i asked for a refund as it has only been 3 hours and 2 of those hours were it just being on standbye. The company has refused twice to give me a refund due to playing for 2 hours, and i dont know where else to turn. Worst company i have ever had to deal with.

    I purchased Modern Warfare 2 on Valves Steam platform, and within a week their updates bricked the game (38 files failed to validate glitch). So now it refuses to do anything. I had already played more than 2 hours at this point so I'm ineligible for anyones return policy. I got robbed for 70 dollars and there's nothing I can do about it because the laws are bought by scum like this. I'm not uploading anything I'm sure you have thousands of complaints already and I'm sure you won't do anything about it.I also want to state it's not my hardware or software that's causing the issue don't let these crooks tell you that I've factory reset all my PC's and updated everything, allowed all permissions, deleted antivirus, literarily any solution I could find I applied to no avail.The game is just not optimized what so ever and shouldn't have been released in its state

    Steam has repeatedly allowed my account to be accessed and money be taken out of it. I use 2 factor and receive emails everytime someone attempts to login but have never once received an email that someone is trying to log in. I went into my account today to find that $50 was taken with no trace. They have 0 security measures and 2 factor means nothing.

    Valve corporation is selling a digital skin for the game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" called the "Call of Duty League - Los Angeles Thieves Pack 2023" which costs $10. The picture on their page specifies the skin only has red lettering on the chest, which was the old design of the skin. A few days ago Infinity ****, the game's developer, changed the skin by adding red straps and red goggles on the character which completely changed the skin's look. I contacted Valve for a replacement but they rejected my refund several times, stating that I had played the game too much since I purchased the skin. After I found out about the skin's changes I immediately issued a refund. These kind of business practices are extremely harmful to the consumer. I found out most if not all players that purchased the skin on the Battle.net launcher, which also carries the game and downloadable content, received refunds regardless of the playtime. It's simply false advertising and misleading. Anyone who purchased this digital item without the knowledge they were completely changing it should get a refund. In addition, Valve still has not updated the page for the skin, which still shows the old skin (the one I purchased). I'm filing this complaint because a lot of people are mad about this false advertising. I just want everyone to get what they paid for. If you can look at the skin's page on the steam application, you can see the reviews are "Mostly Negative" because of this change. I paid a total of $10.61 usd. The principle of this situation is why I'm complaining, not the amount.     I have been trying to reset my password for 3 years. The password reset process does not work and there is no other possibility to contact this company. I have dozens of games I've purchased over the years that I can no longer access because they do not offer working ways to reset password. They do not respond to social media messages. It is impossible to contact them, period.

    I recently tried loggining into my steam account that i had for years but have not logged into for a while and i been unable to. i went and tried to recover password via steam website but received a message that it was not recoverable and i had to fill out a online forum to contact them about the same. i did this and no replay. after a couple of days i repeated this request and still no reply.

    I purchased a Gaming Device from this Company for $694.00 it was faulty so I talked to customer service about returning it. They emailed me a shipping label and I went to my local *** store and returned it. Few days later I checked my tracking number and it didnt update. *** informed me my package is lost and to file a claim. I did exactly that and *** told me to contact Valve. I informed valve of what happened and I spoke to someone and they told me they would take take of the situation. Weeks went by and nobody email or called me. I called back to get a update and he told me to contact customer service because there was nothing he can do. **************** then told me Im a liar and they can still see me using the device. They then banned my Steam Account which Ive paid 100s of dollars on games. There is video proof of me in the *** store handing them the device to return it. Im utterly offended by their action and refusal to help me. A was told you guys can help with this. Next step is taking them to small claims court

    I, along with another veteran friend of mine (Also a past co-worker for the **************), looked through several online "Steam" games to spend time to visit and have camaraderie, which is therapeutic to us past war vets. We decided on a game called "***** Ring" and it cost over $60 to purchase. Before we purchased the game, we wanted to make sure there was no Player Vs Player (PVP) game play as we do not like to play games which kills other world Real Life (RL) players. From our research, it was decided that only certain instances could PVP be activated, however coop players could play together without the fear of an outside player in RL to come in, and due to their playing for years and having more experience, killing us. On December, 9th, he and I were playing together and was ambushed by a PVP'er. Knowing now with only 5 hours of play time (NOT Enough time to see if you like a game) it wasn't the game for us, requested a refund. The company stated it couldn't be a refund due to having more than 2 hours of play time. This is unreasonable as a 54 year old doesn't adapt to online games as fast as an 18 year old. I, along with others, feel like "Steam", the subsidiary of "Valve Corporation", has taken advantage and mislead other customers with their business practices.     Good morning,On November 1st, 2022 Strange Matter Studios announced that their project and game titled 'Fault' was closing down permanently. Please see the link attached from their direct website - ************************** . This was also announced on the platform they sold their product on called Steam. Steam was the providing host to access for the game and being able to purchase it. On November 10th 2022, I opened an inquiry requesting for assistance with a refund from Steam for the product no longer being operational. Before this I sent correspondence to Strange Matter Studio only to not have received a response since early November 2022. From November 10th and now ongoing the third time on November 30th, 2022 I am disputing again with Steam. I have given ample documentation showing the studio closing out and essentially wiping themselves off the Earth. I showed proof of their Discord server (platform for communication) was also suddenly closed permanently. I believe I also showed the correspondence I sent to Strange Matter Studios inquiring what to do about money given for a product that's inoperable. Rather than read and review the documentation their only concern is that I played it past 2 hours. Under their refund rules anything past 2 hours is non-refundable. I did play past 2 hours, 67 hours I believe was their quote. The issue to them is solely about the amount of time and not the fact I purchased a product from them who they contracted with a studio that no longer exists. They appear to be apathetic of the situation because quite a big portion of the community is upset. I'd like a refund for the purchase due to the company not responding and the product being inoperable regardless of hours played. It's an online only game that requires servers to utilize and players cannot servers of their own. The game is no longer a game but simply data stored in an account. Steam will also ban you indefinitely as retaliation for starting a bank dispute.

    On October 26, 2022, I purchased the Paradox H*4*8*0*9*5*9*0*0H Victoria * via H***6*4*1*5*0*5*0*1*6H/H*2*0*0***2*6*7*2*6H Corp for $84.*9. The game would not operate despite my computer meeting game requirements. Paradox H*4*8*0*9*5*9*0*0H recommended I waited for the patch release. I did. The game still did not run. I requested a refund on November 17 and was denied. The policy lists that "Purchases made significantly outside of the 14 day refund window are not eligible for a refund request." This is not "significantly" outside that window by any stretch of the imagination. That is 19 days. The request was denied. I turned to Paradox H*4*8*0*9*5*9*0*0H for support, and they were unable to offer additional support. H***6*4*1*5*0*5*0*1*6H continues to state that there is nothing they can do about the refund since my request was outside of the standard 14 day window, but 19 days is not "significantly" beyond the window, particularly since their business partner advised me to wait. The business partner has directed me to take up this issue with H***6*4*1*5*0*5*0*1*6H/H*2*0*0***2*6*7*2*6H as it is outside of their purview. H***6*4*1*5*0*5*0*1*6H/H*2*0*0***2*6*7*2*6H says the same thing. The game has never successfully run on my computer. The 26 minutes of tracked gameplay are all failed launches. I would like to be refunded for this game and have it removed from my H***6*4*1*5*0*5*0*1*6H account. The ability to do so fully lies with H***6*4*1*5*0*5*0*1*6H/H*2*0*0***2*6*7*2*6H Corp, and their continued response that there is nothing they can do to resolve the issue is patently untrue.
