I am sad to informed you I regret purchasing my furnitures and a mattress from this store. The employee named Mitchell never informed me I will be getting a used and displayed mattress after agreeing to pay over $1300+ for the mattress itself. I am very disappointed because I had to come back to this store multiple times just to get my orders right. Ashley's employees do NOT follow their protocols, they just let anyone pick up orders without checking IDs. And after I picked up my orders, I saw they sold me a used and dirty mattress. I had to begged them to replace the used mattress to a brand new one and when I spoke to the associate name, Jacob. He didn't want to help me at all. After begging them for help, they finally told me to come back in 30 mins and they will replace my mattress with a brand new one. And as soon as I came back, they told me the warehouse is closed and won't be able to give me a new mattress that same night so I decided to just wait for their call back the next day like they told me so. The next day, as promised, they never called me back. They even lied to me about calling and talking to someone on the phone 11/10/22. How can they call someone else when I am the only authorize on purchases? And Jacob told me that in order for me to pick up a brand new mattress I'd have to pay MORE. And they never told me about paying more until I called them if my new mattress is ready. Oh and they forgot to give me the plug for thr adjustable motion! It was my first time shopping at Ashley and I bought 3 items and I am highly disappointed with their poor communication and bad service. Please report this business ! I confirmed for a sofa and chair delivery three times prior to my delivery date this Saturday morning. That Saturday at 7:30am I received a phone call informing me that the delivery of my entire purchase had been canceled. My chair was back ordered and I asked if my couch could still be delivered later that same day. I had already gotten rid of my old furniture. The woman on the line informed me she would try to get the couch out that same day but she would call me back. Two hours later after my call was not returned I called the company and was informed that my delivery had been rescheduled two weeks from my initial delivery date without my authorization for a time and date that did not work for me. I had to call them to correct the mistake. I find their lack of communication unacceptable. I should have been called before my delivery was canceled not after and my delivery should not have been rescheduled without me. Because if a mistake on their end I am now without living room furniture. I asked where I could file a complaint and although they directed me twice to the phone number listed for that particular store I get sent to the corporate line. This store is an absolute nightmare. The manager and Aida in particular were absolutely horrendous. Originally came in for a navy blue headboard and was told “NO NEVER” and it was shocking but decided to still look around for nightstands. She followed and showed me a headboard on her tablet, so not never I guess. Meanwhile we saw some carpet that was discounted that would be of good use in a garage area. She was upset that we were interested in them. We ended up getting 3 and later decided to get 3 more. I guess it wasn’t enough money for them to want to help sell because they don’t get enough commission. Note we ended up going to the store in El Cajon and they had the blue bed and the nightstands and better customer service. My husband returned to the store 3 different days and every day was a different reason. First it was “doing inventory day” they mean to say they are open but don’t sell things? Sure! Next time he was told the warehouse people weren’t there or some bs. Today he was told they couldn’t find the tags and he finally had enough and asked to see the manager whose response is “they are busy with tasks of higher priority.” These people should not be facing customers! It doesn’t matter if the item is discounted or not customer service is customer service and they don’t know a lick of it. Save your money and peace of mind and go somewhere else where they value your business. I will be calling corporate. And if you must go to Ashley’s go to the one in El Cajon instead. Ps I am a manager and would lose my job if I treated customers that way and I sure hope he does get fired along with Aida. Absolutely ridiculous purchase I REGRET buying for my apartment. I have limited space so I thought buying a sofa bed would be nice for the time being, however it has already busted broke with 6 months!!!! It took over a week to get a manager, then a supervisor, or a manager, they dont know what their title is because no one could help.. salesperson have me full insurance, warranty package and its worthless! I have been placed on hold for over 3 hours at one point! Repairman came out disassembled it and left! Told me to call the warranty! ******* ridiculous customer service on the phone, nobody can answer my questions, now they want a photo of the serial number??!! Didnt the repairman take photos??! Isnt that on my invoice!!?? Its beyond ridiculous and absurd, I highly recommend purchasing furniture from someone local that values your time and money.. still waiting on a repair man to come back still without furniture in my apartment for the past 3 weeks.. Purchased a couch from Ashley in may ************************************** The sales person told me how buying from Ashley would be useful since they would cover damages and sold me an additional insurance while reassuring me that it will cover any possible damage. I did open a claim with ashley, they were not willing to help with it. I called the insurance company the following day after the night of the damage. A person came, and they told me they wont cover the damage. I went back to the store and asked the same sales person if it covers my issue, she very surely told me yes. Thank you for your response. The main issue is the Ashleys sales person sold me the warranty and convinced me that if I purchase the furniture through Ashley and purchase the insurance it would cover ANYTHING including pet damages or any tears. I did contact and was referred to the insurance company, which told me they will not cover this. As a result, I do think that Ashley should better inform their sales people to not convince people about the benefit of buying from Ashley and saying that it will cover any issue. In addition, I did go back to the sales person who sold me this couch and it was again mentioned that it will cover pet damages or anything. This has been going on for long, which put me into the frustration of not going after it. This is a sketchy way to sell, I hope the sales people could be more informative and not say anything to make a sale for the commission.Review fromChyrl H

Horrible Customer Service. I purchased 2 end tables and when they were delivered, they were missing parts. I called while the delivery people were still here and was assured that the parts would be ordered. In hindsight, I should have had them just take the tables back and have them exchanged. However, after waiting 3 weeks, when I called to check the status, I was told the order for the missing parts was not placed. I then asked for an exchange. I was told by Sasi, that I would receive a call from the Manager in 3 business days. I waited a week to call back and spoke with MyLyn. She told me that they sent me an email and because I didn't respond my case was closed. However, I had not received an email because they did not have my email on file. This was confirmed by her. She was rude and not helpful in resolving my issue. My tables were delivered on August 13, 2022. I have received the runaround with receiving an exchange or something as simple as the missing parts that were not ordered, nor delivered originally. I have asked to be contacted by a Manager, Nadal. However, I have yet to be contacted. I am extremely disappointed with the service that I have received at this store. I would like this issue resolved by simply exchanging these tables. They literally have been sitting in my living room still in the boxes because they were delivered with missing parts. I bought a Queen Bed Frame + Mattress + Foundation + Mattress Protector in April, and paid more than $3000 for the set. They delivered a Queen frame, Full size Foundation and California King Protector. When I contacted them, they were rude, disorganized and unhelpful. Eventually I received the correct Foundation, but they forgot to send the correct Mattress Protector. It is now June 1st, and I still to this day have not received the right Mattress Protector. When I call, they deliberately keep me on hold and don't answer my call. When I go into the store in person, Ken the Store Manager hides in the back and avoids me, and pretends he is "busy with other customers". All of the staff treat me like I'm a difficult customer, when I just want to make sure I get the item I paid for. Every time I speak to them, Ken the store manager estimates a different day that the Mattress protector will be delivered, and nothing gets delivered - this has happened 4 times now. I will never buy something from this Ashley Furniture store again, they will do or say whatever they can to get your money and then they will treat you like dirt, and if they screw up your order they will not help you. By far the worst experience I have ever experienced with any store on Miramar Road in San Diego. My sales associate was the most unorganized. It took close to four hours to actually purchase something there. Next, my items were all supposed to be delivered three days later. I took time off from work to ensure I was there as requested and only 3 of 12 items came there. Ashley's HQ said that one of my receipts was missing. I let them know I signed everything and turned it in that day. I called Naz and his response was everything was turned in. I get a call the next day about the delivery coming on Saturday and I let them know I have a very important event, which I paid for that I need to be at and these are the hours the delivery has to happen between. I was told, by Naz again, that this will happen. To my surprise on my way to my event I am getting a call that the delivery will be there during the middle of my event. I hate writing reviews such as these, but this is just not acceptable. I lost a lot all because of one individual's irresponsible actions. I called the HQ to complain, and with customer service only responding someone will get back to me. We purchased a few furniture from this store back in Feb 2022. To till this day they haven't delivered my coffee table. The rest were delivered with in 2 months. the delivery of coffee table has been scheduled 5 times and cancelled with no explanation. When we called the store they said there is a financial hold, but the promotional credit card has been PAID in FULL. The store is expecting us to drive 200 miles to sign a paper for the delivery. We are asking them to cancel the coffee table order and REFUND my money. there is a hold for 2hrs to talk to an agent. They provide Chat service/text service which is useless.
