  I am now the proud owner of the best sofa ever! I will also say, Rising Tide Design Co. is just wonderful. The craftsmanship of the sofa is absolutely top of the line. And the communications from the company were very much appreciated. I honestly did not mind the long wait because it was stated up front and then getting the itinerary of travel from workshop to my home almost felt like an adventure. Metro delivery continued the good communication, and the team was very helpful and friendly at my home.I so much appreciate a fabulous sofa at a price I could afford and for a team that is top notch! They have an excellent business model that benefits two communities as well. Makes me feel good to be a customer. *****

  Short version: The sofa is everything it's cracked up to be! Long version: I was hesitant buying a sofa without seeing it in person first, but I trusted the reviews saying it was really high-quality. I loved Cole's mission to build a community center, and his vision that good furniture shouldn't be prohibitively expensive. I actually thought the sofa was made in the USA so I was a bit surprised when a tracking number arose from India, but I believe he contracts with a small group of locals in Mundra to make these high-quality sofas. It was so cool tracking the boat across the ocean! There was absolutely nothing "cheap foreign made" about it. We ordered the Winchester sofa with cushions. The quality is outstanding. Truly would have cost nearly $10,000 at a main-stream US furniture store. I could not be more satisfied. This sofa will last us a lifetime! So glad I got mine before the word spreads and it becomes more unaffordable or a crazy long wait time.

There are hundreds of suppliers in ***** and all over the world that major US companies source from. Many of which have very talented craftsmen turning out gorgeous product. Yet they are often treated as expendable resources by these large furniture companies, and sometimes even the suppliers themselves. When buying high-end furniture, very little of your money usually goes to the people and materials that made it. Most is to overhead and all the middlemen with a hand in the pot. By offering to actually compensate these talented craftsmen according to their skill, it wasnt difficult to assemble a highly skilled and motivated team. With manufacturing in-house, combined with eliminating as much overhead as possible (limited offerings, only made-to-order, no endless free samples, no showrooms, no large sales staff, etc), we are able to offer the prices we do. If you purchase our furniture, the money goes towards the labor, materials, and logistics to get it to you. Nothing more. Thats why we offer free local pickup as an option. If we dont have to pay to deliver it, then why should we pass that cost on to you? And what profits we do make go to our ************************ here in ******.

  We are delighted with our purchase of a three piece sofa set. The leather is beautiful and buttery smooth and the caramel color was spot on with what we wanted. The tufted benches we opted for are firm without being hard, which makes for very comfortable long term seating for us. Customer service was very responsive and professional throughout the process from pre-purchase inquiry to post- delivery follow-up. Yes, the wait is a little long for delivery, but the prices are very fair and reasonable for the top quality materials and workmanship. Packaging was also very well done, the boxes and their contents arrived in pristine condition. The third party delivery vendor was also great, delivering exactly when they said they would. Overall, a top-notch experience! Thank you, Rising Tide Design Co for your wonderful furniture!

  Im just amazed that this beautiful sofa traveled all the way around the world, to my home. Everything went exactly as stated, and it arrived right on time. Shoot, my local post office cant even get a letter across town!! The tracking app was fun. I enjoyed watching the journey. Thank you for a superb product!

  I must say their customer service is on point! I was a little reluctant about their product at first but when I got my delivery and unwrapped the chair I was floored how amazing the quality of the product was. Im certainly looking forward to buying more pieces in the future.

  I ORDERED A 95 INCH CHESTERFIELD AND TWO CLUB CHAIRS. WE BOUGHT AND AMISH HOME AND FARM IN APRIL AND ARE KEEPING THE FEEL OF IT-BUT WITH ELECTRICITY OF COURSE. THIS FURNITURE WAS WORTH THE WAIT. IT IS ARTWORK. LOVE IT SO MUCH.

  Beautiful piece of furniture! I ordered the 87" Chesterfield and it is lovely, exactly what I needed for my "English library" vibe family room. I had discussed color and tone with Cole as we have an existing leather piece that I wanted to be sure was complimentary and they are very, very much so! The piece is very well finished. I got the individual cushions so that they can be moved around and prevent wear in any particular place. As others have mentioned, they are very firm, but will soften over time. People are noting that the 14-16 week lead time is long. Maybe, but they arrived when promised, and tracking was well communicated. I ordered two chairs from a large national company that had a 12 week lead time. They were supposed to arrive next week, and they just informed me last week that they aren't arriving until January. I'll take Cole's small company, hands on approach any day.
