In Mach of 2022, I purchased an engine from Quality Used Engines (*************************************************** *****) for $3070. I waited over a month for them to send my engine. I received the engine and paid a lot of money to have it installed and was to receive a $500 core charge if I returned the engine and I tried to and they would not let me the company sent me $70 and told me to keep it. because it would cost them more to ship it than for them to give me my $500 core charge back. After installation of the engine found that the engine was bad. The camshaft was messed up causing the engine to get no oil pressure in return the truck would shut down and not run. I contacted the company right away to get a new engine sent to me. It took them another couple of months to get it out and shipped to me. After receiving the 2nd engine it was also bad and had the same issues. We went through this process again and it happened a 3rd time. Now I have tried to dispute the charge with my credit card and they are having issues getting in touch with the company as well to help me get my money back. We are not out just the $3070 for the engine, we also paid to have and engine installed multiple times that never worked!

In response to the complainants rebuttal, a chargeback is where the complainant disputes a charge on their account. The Bank will investigate the dispute and issue a response on their decision. We are unable to move forward in the refund process until the bank has finalized their decision on the chargeback. Once that is closed we then can take the next steps.

In September 2022, I ordered a **** ******************** I paid this company $2895.00 on 9/6/22. For months, they told me that they had a motor and there were several issues. On two separate occasions stating that the motor was lost. They then said they had a third motor. They said it was shipped but it wasn't, then it was broken and needed fixing. I waited another two weeks and they shipped a motor. The motor they sent was a **** motor which was not what I paid for and it did not work. This motor was shipped back. They stated they would issue a refund. They only refunded me $1481.25 on 12/12/22., Since then I have left several messages for ******* at *********************. My calls have not been returned. I am unable to get my vehicle from the garage without receiving the rest of this refund, however, no one will speak to me. I do have several emails verifying all of this and the company states all calls are recorded. Please help me.

The complainant purchased a used engine on 09/02/2022 and is requesting a full refund.

The complainant purchased a used engine on 11/16/2022 and the order was shipped out on 11/16/2022. The complainant alleges that the engine was not the correct one for their vehicle. The complainant stated that they have a **** Jeep Wrangler and the engine that was sent to them was for a **** Jeep Wrangler.
The specific sections of the Terms and Conditions state as follows:
      5. All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and processing fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs.

      17. OEM auto parts are interchangeable with multiple years, makes and models which means the same part is an exact fit for multiple makes and models as determined by OEM standards. We guarantee the part we sell to fit your vehicle.

All the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty are prominently listed here: Used Engines and Transmissions (engine-transmission.com)

After further review, we did issue a refund in the amount of $1481.25 which is a result of 25% handling and processing fee plus shipping costs. Since the complainant did return the engine which was for their vehicle, and per the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty, the complainants request for a full refund is not approved.

Per my purchase receipt that was attached I purchased an engine on September 2022 not in November as the company stated. There were several various issues since September 2022.  I do not owe for the shipping or any 25% fee because the motor that was sent was not a motor that would fit my vehicle. I ordered a **** jeep wrangler engine as this year vehicle will only take a **** jeep wrangler engine. I did not purchase what they sent me therefore I should not have to be penalized for the companies error. If I order a bed and receive a stove I would not be charged to return the stove as it was not what I ordered. This is no different. I should receive 100% of my chatmrges back due to it was company error and your company should pay for that error not me.

I purchased a used transmission for my 2007 ****** Corolla from *******.com on 10/6/2022 for $1,645. Invoice number ******. I started a warranty claim on 11/1/2022. At the beginning of the claim I had contact with the company via email. They asked for a picture of the tag on the transmission and a video of the broken transmission. I sent a picture of the tag and stated that I had to wait for my mechanic to take a video of the transmission. I asked if I was able to get a refund for the transmission instead. I did not receive any contact from the company. I then got an email from their shipping department with a label for shipping and I responded to the email and told them there is no return and I had not heard anything from warranty. Since then I have reached out to the company but have not gotten any response. I would like a response from the company and to complete my warranty claim. I paid $1,645 for a transmission that they guarantee the performance of and it is broken. I have been without a car for quite some time.

      [Please type your response here.]

The company does not follow through with responses. Each time I ask a question they fail to respond. Each time I ask about the warranty they ask me to provide more information about the broken transmission. Each time this happens I have to go to the mechanic and pay them to spend time and figure out the answer to the companies question instead of them just following through with the warranty.  I have asked if a refund was possible and if I will get a full refund or if I have to pay shipping and they only respond to part of the question. I would like to finish the process and have them actually follow through with something  instead I am stuck with a car that is still broken. Obviously email is not the best form of communication for them so if they could call me to resolve the issue that would be great  **********

When my 2012 dodge ram **** began having issues with the motor, I began searching for a replacement as per suggestion from a a dodge dealership. Unfortunately their prices were extremely high and something I could not afford. I found ******* Remanufactured *********************************************** online and after seeing their pricing and going over their reviews I decided to give them a try. They offered a 5 year warranty on their remanufactured motors so it seemed like a great deal. I ordered the remanufactured motor and had it replaced at a reputable shop near home. After the installation, the truck seemed to have new life in it and I began my planned journey to WA state. The truck performed wonderfully and I had no issues until November of 2021. I then noticed a significant loss of power, then my engine developed a knock in the lower section of the motor. Immediately, I emailed ***, the gentleman who handles the warranty claims. At first there was an issue finding the paperwork for the core return and the claim could not be started. Finally, he returned my email with a solution. To take my truck to a shop, describe the issue and provide some additional information about the truck. I found two shops that would do the work but needed to touch base with ******* before they could proceed. I then supplied both shops the phone number to *** and according to the shops, they were never able to get a hold of him or the company. This resulted in the shops denying to perform the work in fear of not being reimbursed for the work. I then emailed *** with the issue and haven't heard anything from him for several moths initially until he suggested that I pay for the work and then seek reimbursement from the company. I was already out ***** dollars for the motor and the shop expanse to replace it. I was not willing to take a chance to lose more money. At this time, *** is unwilling to help me with reaching out to the shops and confirming how the warranty process will work. Leaving me stranded.

The complainant purchased a used engine and transmission from us on 09/23/2022 and is requesting a replacement.

The complainant purchased a used engine and transmission on 09/23/2022 and the order went out for delivery on 10/13/2022. The complainant alleges that the engine started to have issues after it was installed.

After review, we would ask that the complainant please go here: Used Engines for Sale:Used.*******.com and start a warranty claim and we then can take the next steps in the complainants request.

We do hope this closes the matter and please let us know if you need any further information from us.
      Sincerely,
      ******* **************** Team
