This company is the parent company of Remanns. No physical address to be found. This company is a flat out scam and we want our $3,000 back. Something needs to be done to stop this scam.

I'm grateful to the Better Business Bureau for hosting this site, and grateful to the many reviews describing how SWEngine operates evasively, fraudulently, and unethically. I wish I'd seen these reviews before buying an engine from them. We bought a used engine for $1,670 that came with a 5 Year or 50K mile parts and labor warranty. Our professional mechanic installed the engine and found it didn't run. It was junk. We contacted SWEngines and asked fora replacement engine. After several weeks they still had not found a replacement engine. Frustrated with their failure, and after finding these reviews, we contacted them to ask for a full refund on the bad engine and wasted labor. Our professional mechanic, my wife, and I have been on the phone numerous times with Ms. *** ******,their Warranty Department representative. Ms. ****** is unable to tell ** when we'll receive the money we'reowed and can't refer us to a supervisor or manager. This company is unethical and unprofessional. We just want what we're owed according to the warranty. As so many have posted here, please don't use SWEngines.

I was sold an engine on 03/23/23 and the money was taken out of my account on 03/24/23. I was told 7-14 business days for shipment. On 14th day I was told my order was still in process, then started getting the same email for 3 days in a row after that saying the engine was on truck waiting on tracking information. After several days I called again and was told a manager would contact me, but never did. I began calling every day only to get voicemails that would not let me leave a message and would hang up on me. I finally had to file a dispute with my bank against the company and the money they took without sending me an engine. As of 35 days later I still have no engine and have not been contacted by the business to resolve the issue. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY EVEN IF IT IS YOUR LAST RESORT!!!

Quoted 67k miles "tested" engine. NO paperwork package/proof of records. Shipped on mini pallet, sitting on used tire with one steel band wrapped in shrink wrap. Boy was I a sucker and I thought my online ordering habits were solid. One lapse in judgement wasted almost $2k. No customer service, no order details (repetitive canned responses each call). Shipping notice did arrive late via email so that was about the only positive attribute. The engine that arrived looks like it was pulled from a million mile oil bath and rolled down a concrete driveway. Valve covers were both broken, looks like head gaskets had been replaced, mix match bolts. Heavy carbon deposits in exhaust ports, debris in the intake openings. Oil pan dented, At least 1/8th inch dry gummy oil on entire top half of block, even where there should be no oil. Relatively new looking water pump. Manifold and exhaust mating surfaces scratched. BUYER BEWARE I'm cutting my losses and moving on.

Orderd a ram 5.7 engine when it arrived i pulled the dipstick and it looked like graphite call them to let them know i was told it had a warranty to in stall it and if it was defective it would be covered engine and labor. That was a big negative want answer phone or call back after leaving tons of messages. So i contacted my discover card to get my money back. And looks like a may have to take 2 companies into a law suit cause discover card gives me my money back than a month later recharge me again for ****. Cause remans say i didn't send the merchandise back so now im out of $**** and the motor i shipped back to them. Then proved to discover with copies of delivery receipt showing it was signed for when delivered. So they gave me my money back again and today looked at my account again to see im being charged for the engine again. What more can i do also have vidoes of me loading the motor onto the shipping truck when they sent it to be picked up. So tired been fighting these people since September 2022.

You should have a zero star rating. We ordered an engine from this company with the guarantee it was in stock and would be delivered within 2 weeks. 5 weeks later evasive phone calls and nothing but lies from the shipping department. I’ve contacted the Attorney General for the State of Wisconsin and been informed they have been investigated for unfair business practices and deceptive responses to inquiries. I demand a full refund and was issued one from my Credit card company when I provided the documentation I provided the attorney General. I can’t believe these people are in business.

This company is a crooked as they come. I purchased a remanned engine from them. After about 8 weeks I cancelled the order and they shipped it anyway. Then after informing me that they were going to charge me a 25% restock fee and not one but two freight charges of $150 each they refuse to give me any of my money back!!!! I have been calling and emailing for two months, every other day. And all I ever get is the runaround. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!!!
