      transaction date 10/30/2024 I have emailed 4 times to Menards and no response and cannot locate a phone number to call to discuss.I purchased an electronic gift card and provided wrong email address so the recipient has not received the gift card. I either want to cancel this order or have the email updated to the correct address..... but I can't seem to speak to anyone.

      On 11/20/23 purchased cabinets and replacement doors for pantry through Menards in store. I was working with a contractor, *********, who gave measurements to Menards earlier that week. I Spoke with **** from Menards to pick out colors and design. Purchase was paid in full via check. I then realized the one cabinet I wanted glass doors and a spice shelf that was not in the order, so I returned later and added those on and paid the extra cost in full via check. Order came in several weeks later on December 28th 2023. The order was not the design and was not the colors I had picked out. I contacted **** immediately and they said it was a computer error. Lombardos had to be cancel and we had to returned all wrong parts and make arrangements to have everything to the store before ordering the right cabinets. Several months later, in March most of cabinets came in. ( unable to go with original design because **** said no options for original design through ******* cabinetry upon fixing their mistake, which she should have made me aware in first place). Lombardos began working on cabinets and realized we were missing doors for pantry and entire pantry doors were all wrong sizes. Also, glass doors for a cabinet were never received/shipped. Several attempts were made to correct this order and they have yet to order correct sizes. I have gone to the store, spoke with ****, ***** in the cabinet section and spoke with Store managers. Several Emails were sent upon request of confirming Lombardos measures, pictures, and invoices/ receipts. I have yet to hear anything back. I still have wrong door sizes and missing doors and they refuse to get back to me.

      Ordered a furnace plenum from this company, 20x20x30. Its basically a box. Four sides and a top. The geniuses sent me ONE piece of sheet metal that was 20x30. NOT what I ordered. This horrible company now refuses to refund me, or send me what I ordered. I did what they asked, sent pics of their s**** up. Was told via emails, because you cant actually talk to a human being, that it was being taken care of. NOPE, nothing was sent. Now this fraudulent company refuses to refund me my money. Menards screwed up big time, and refuses to refund me. I want my 96.45$ refunded to me immediately.

      I purchased merchandise at Menards on or around 8/22/24, specifically since it was eligible for their rebate program. I completed their rebate form and sent it in on 8/23/24. Menards asserts 6-8 weeks for return of rebate. Its now been nearly 2.5 months since my form submission and there still no receipt of the rebate. This has been a repeat issue with this company; it seems they scam customers with this program and then dont follow through and honor their responsibility. Something has to be done here.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and while I find that this resolution for this single item is satisfactory to me, the wider concern is that Menards has a practice of not honoring their customer rebate program. If I hadn't filed this complaint, I am certain that I would not have received the rebate to which I was due. Their purposely poor administration of their rebate program allows them to generate sales and bilk thousands of dollars from customers.  The ******************** needs to step up its review of this company and take action to prevent them from continuing a dishonest practice. If BBB is only going to sit in the middle between Menards and the customers it's extorting money from, there's no value, protection, or purpose that BBB supplies.

      I sent all my original receipts with the rebate form. I waited 8 week and ask where my rebate was. I was told I need my rebate number which I didnt have. I dont know how they could loose my receipts. I can go to there web site and reprint the receipts but they dont accept duplicates. I sent my original receipts because thats what you have to send.

      We ordered the garage doors. They were damaged when they came. The store issued us a refund on the doors but made us pay for the delivery and re-pickup of the doors. The cost was $118.00 each way. This cost us $236.00 . This was not our fault. We needed to have garage doors put in so we ordered them from another place (which even cost us more). They said that we had to pay the delivery fees because the small door was not damaged. We try to tell them the door would not match the new big door we had to purchase. They said it was not their problem. I do not see why we have to pay these charges when it was not our fault.

      I purchased 84 bundles of Atlas Pinnacle Desert shake shingles to reroof my home. After installing the drip edge , Atlas ice and water shield, Atlas Summit 60 synthetic underpayment and Atlas starter shingles I began opening and installing the Atlas shingles. I soon found out that many of the bundles contained defective shingles that were hopelessly stuck together in the bundles. I made menards aware of the problem on day one after opening and installing about 7 bundles . After bringing in one complete bundle of the bad shingles the front manager offered to bring out 70 more bundles for me to open and see if these too were defective. But before I returned home the delivery manager ( ****** ) called me and told me that that is not how it works. After much discussion with multiple managers from Menards they offered me no solution that did not involve me ripping off my newly installed shingles thus ruining my new drip edge , ice and water shield synthetic underpayment , and starter shingles already installed. This was all at my expense for materials and labor. A full 30% of these shingles were useless as they were stuck together in the bundles . The shingles have a release strip that is supposed to release the adhesive to prevent the shingles from sticking together but the release strip and adhesive were misaligned in 30% throughout the bundles! I was told by a manager( **** ******** ) there was a form to fill out for getting a resolution for my complaint because I was unable to complete my roof as they could only offer more of these same shingles. I had paid for the delivery of the shingles and could only get a refund for the bad ones less their 11% rebate that I had sent out! Since there was no good option I was forced to get another color of shingle for the other side of my home . I filled out the complaint form and MENARDS ONLY FORWARDED IT TO ATLAS ROOFING IN MERIDIAN ***********. I have received nothing for all of my extra trouble and labor sorting bad 1S

      I purchased a snow blower at ************************** on 10/28/2024. It clearly said, "Free shipping to home." A week later, I received an email stating that they don't offer free shipping to homes. I can either pick it up at the store or pay the local store $100+ for shipping. The snow blower is 250 lbs! As a woman, I cannot pick it up at the store and take it home myself. I asked them to waive the shipping cost and honor the original offer, but they refused. They charged my credit card immediately on 10/28 and now asked me to pick it up myself or pay them to ship it to my home for extra cost.

      On October 17th, 2024, I rented their $18.95 truck. I put down $300 deposit, which ended up being $348.36 and had 75 minutes to use it or extra charges would be added. I returned the truck in exact same shape 10 minutes early. After the customer service person, *****, finally got someone to come up front to cover for her, & she ran out to the truck and started my paperwork, it went over the 75 min. When she told me my refund would be $268 I questioned why and she realized she didn't stop the clock on it. She proceeded to try and remove the $12 charge, and after 2+ hours of standing there, I was told i could go home and she would call me the next day. They also charge tax on the $300 deposit and told me that is non-refundable I received a call around noon & was told they has to void the whole *************** would not be charged due to the inconvenience and would receive the money that came out immediately within 5-7 business days, Today is 11/4/2024 and I am still waiting for my money, Every time I have called, I have been told they are working on it. Not once has the General Manager spoken to me. I tried **************** and all 3 times have been told to talk to someone at the store. I had to borrow this money to get the truck and emphasized over and over that I need the money back. This is in no way due to something I did or am I asking for anything but the money I gave them. Very misleading advertising as well since $18.95 is base( which I understood, plus $1.20 per mile) + the tax on the entire amount. So the $18.95 truck ended up being over $60. I was refunded $13.01 for the incorrectly charged overage but as they stated, I would received the whole amount. This is 18 days now. The address is under ***********, ** since I moved since the awful experience. I can attach the contract & Bank charges if needed.

      This rental took place on 10/17/24. They have not even cut the check. Plus with mail in **, I may not receive the money until the 27th or later.  I already paid 2 overdraft fees because of all the fake info I was given. I would expect more than "a check will be mailed" etc when the deposit regund should have been immediately handled. It had been 35 days and I expect 5-7 more before I receive MY money. I did absolutely nothing wrong and waiting another week or more is not acceptable. Not once have they offered anything but a " we are working on it". That did not pay my rent or other bills. $348 is huge to a single person with one income.

      I bought a shower surround and, unfortunately, it didn't fit in my car. I live 70 miles away from the store, and it was evening, so I quickly rented one of their trucks. I checked out of the store at 6:04pm and returned the truck at 8:38pm, just minutes before they close. The fee was ridiculous, $404.85 but after the frustration of ******* to get back before they close, so as not to be charged for overnight, I just wanted to pay and leave so I could get **********, I finally had a chance to go over my paperwork and found that I was charged for 500 miles at 50 cents per mile. Like I said, I live 70 miles away and I was gone for just about 2 and a half hours. Obviously I can't drive 200 miles an hour, so clearly that wasn't possible. So I called the store to see what we can do about this mistake. THEIR mistake! And ******* who I spoke to at about 430pm that day, said she'd refund the entire amount, which seems reasonable given the absurd overcharge. However, she claimed we need to come in to get the money back. To expect us to drive 150 miles for a mistake made onv their part is an unreasonable ask. The only other option she gave was a gift card. Equally ridiculous. You keep your number a pretty good secret, so this seems to be my only point of contact, which I also find to be poor business. So I'm asking you to please make this right and refund my full amount, as promised, without making us drive 150 miles to correct your mistake. Today I called again and spoke to a supposed manager named *****, who offered no alternative and then hung up on me. They've essentially stolen my money, I have filed a complaint with my credit card company, but their fraudulent practices need to be addressed.There's no way to contact anybody other than the store, and after speaking to **** O, ******* and *****, it is quite clear that there is no possible resolution as their customer service skills don't exist.
