      My 11% rebate check was canceled. They put a stop payment on it because I inquired about when it will ship. Stay away from this scam. They've had class action lawsuits with the rebate program scam. Apparently another lawsuit it coming. They do everything to deny them. They reduced my rebate for no reason then canceled it when I sent an email to inquire on it. RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!

      Purchased 7 5X6 fence panels and 1 gate panel 5X6. Went to rent truck and asked if they thought I could safely transport. We both agreed it would be best to rent U-Haul. Came back hour later and they sold 3 of the 7 panels and no longer had the items I purchased. Spoke with GM ******** and was informed how this can happen with their current system design. I understood but did not think I should have to pay for transportation 2X since this was created by their system issue and they verified they had the items I was purchasing at the time I paid. I did get the 3 missing panels but had to pay an extra$70.00 for transportation of the 3 missing panels. I should not have to incur extra transportation cost due to their system issues.

      Waiting on our $800 stove to come in and to find out after we bring it home that we have to purchase a cord?? What in the backwoods is this Tomfoolery!!! What is it with these appliances nowadays? It would have even been a good idea if we were told that when we purchased it!!! Just so in a rush to make the sell!!

      Bought metal roofing from Menards and it has been a disaster. The material is fine but Menards has this thing where you pick out your roof, pay for it, sign papers then you are supposed to wait 2 days to receive an email that you need to approve before they ship it to you. Well, we never got the email to approve it. Apparently they design the roof so that they have all the elements you need, and you are supposedly approving their design. We ordered the roof day after Thanksgiving, and didnt receive it until approx Jan 8 because of the email issue- we never got the email to approve it. We had to go in multiple times to get them to process it. We finally receive it then had to return it to get the right stuff. Well then Menards didnt credit my contractors account so we had to go back to correct it. Then a while later my contractor thought they had not credited us correctly - that Menards had shorted us $1200. We had to go back into Menards to see if they would correct it, we got the store manager and he basically said they had over discounted it, implying we owed them money. We receive the correct roofing in early Feb. but because weather was bad we couldnt put it on right away. So when we do start putting it on we find that Menards had shorted us 2 sq of metal, paint, edging and several other items. We go back to Menards and they reorder the metal. We receive the metal and start putting it on then find out that Menards had shorted us some material that goes on between the metal sheets. We are still waiting on that. It is now April 14. We went thru the entire winter with only roofing felt on here in **** primarily because Menards has a horrible process for roofing. They make us sign off on a non-existing email to make sure we are getting everything we need then promptly DONT provide everything we need - even when its spelled out for them. DO NOT buy metal roofing from Menards!!!

      WORST customer service I've had in a long time. Do any of their employees enjoy working there? 80% of the people I engaged with just stared at me until I spoke to start the conversation, and NONE of them appeared to be having a nice day. I purchased a stepladder before I drove home to empty my vehicle and make room, and was told it would be waiting at the front entrance. When I returned to the front entrance, they told me it would now be waiting at door 15. When I drove all the way around to door 15... they told me to go to door 3. And when I drove over to door 3... I find that it's about 20 FEET from where the ladders were inside! That means even the employee working the area with the ladders had no idea there was the option for me to pick it up just outside. I didn't have far to drive home, so I rolled my back windows down, put the ladder in the back seat, and let it stick out the side. On my way out of the yard, I presented my receipt to the guy at the gate, and got a VERY snarky and disrespectful "Um... doesn't your back seat fold down!?!?" I already knew that the angle would be too shallow, but didn't feel the need to explain that to this snide assclown. Instead, I simply asked him "Well, should I hop out of the car, and rearrange it right now?" He said "Uh... I don't know, but that's not how I would have done it." ***************** piss-poor attitudes from employees, and a level of disrespect I have not received as a paying customer (spent over $200) in a long, long time. I'll be going to **********, or ANYPLACE else from now on.

      Menards ************************************** Bought a brand new snowblower for $1200. Ran like garbage even after warmed up. Surging idle that never smoothed out. Had to turn choke on it to make it run half way decent. Allan ****** store manage was really rude with my wife and I. Did not care I only owned it for 2 days. Would not help at all with a return or exchange. Said had to take it to a repair center and they had nothing to do with it. Said after you put gas in it they cannot return. One of the workers that dealt with snowblowers in the store said it was in perfect condition with no problems. Worse experience I have ever had with Menards. I will not shop there ever again and have no problems telling this to other people. They don't stand behind there merchandise.

      I ordered 4 Pedi pro deluxe kits thru menards.com website. Upon arrival I only received 3 with no receipt and no explanation. The price for each item was $4.99. The total of my purchase was $28.57. I had to fight to get an explanation for my missing pedi pro. Apparently it is discontinued and no longer available. I was still charged for processing fees and delivery. I checked online over a week after not receiving my item and it is still listed for purchase online. No happy. Don't order thru Menards.com

      Rebate Program is a scam! They offer 11% rebates on online purchases, have you fill out paperwork to qualify, then rather than a rebate, send you a coupon that can only be used to purchase items in a physical store. NOT A REBATE, which they decide to rename "Merchandise Credit Check" after the fact, as if that makes it somehow legal and okay. Check any definition for the word REBATE. It means a refund of a portion of purchase price after purchase, not a coupon that requires an additional purchase at a physical store only (not even usable online) that, in my case, is over 1100 miles away! Pure deception that they circumvent accountability for by simply making up their own new definitions for words used at point of sale.

      ****, general manager, at Menards, *************************************** has no knowledge regarding ************************ Warranty Law and violated my rights as a consumer. I purchased a Criterion dishwasher online from Menards on October 24, 2024 and it stopped working on December 22, 2024 where the unit itself no longer had power. No breakers were tripped or any other electrical issue in the home, so the unit itself was defective. I received pre-approval from *****, the manufacturer and warranty holder, to replace the entire unit due to no repairmen anywhere near the area. ***** approved a 1 for 1 replacement where I was to be able to pick up the new unit at Menards and, AFTER, removing the defective unit, bring it to Menard's without charge or cost due to the unit having a full warranty. **** decided that store policy superseded ************************ Warranty Law despite having an e-mail directly from ***** showing that I was authorized to receive the new unit and then exchange the defective unit without cost. **** also stated there was no one above him in the corporate chain except **** Menard **** owner. Needless to say, an *** complaint as well as this BBB review is being submitted as well as a lengthy letter to the only person above ****, **** Menard ***

      Apparently you can order things off their website that they dont actually have in stock. You will be charged for every item none the less and then notified a few days later that your order has been cancelled. You will then have to pull teeth to get your refund. Which will not be for the correct amount.
