  I got estimate for floor trusses an roof trusses. After only 3 days of deciding whom to purchase from. Me an my wife picked menards of ******. New store seemed to be running good deal. An with the rebate blew everyone's prices away! The 4th day I gave go ahead for trusses. Paid 10% down on the numbers they gave me. The floor trusses got 100 approved by ******* *********** I believe. But said estimate for roof trusses was going to be double the price. Why I asked? It was because they added a (scab trusses) sandwiching, the 2 scissor trusses together. More trusses more lumber. I was very upset due to the first time doing business with this company. An bam! 6k to 12k. As a contractor that spends 500k to 2mil as local stores in ****** like **** ***** an could have been menards. If I told my customers a price then said 4 days later. Sorry bout that it's double the price now for the roof trusses. Anyways after a weekend of cooling off an finding out this was going to be the fastest way to keep my personal project going on schedule. Me an me wife approved the roof trusses. Because of 2 guys at the local store. General Manager Brody and manger Casey. Completely understanding the issues an helping on there part absolutely ?? the best they could have. Now there's plenty of emails between menards an managers @ ******* ***************. As there are multiple pics an explanations on those emails as well. This is #1 reason I'm asking for some of my money back an filled out a complaint form. Which I have never done in my life! Got floor trusses. Suppose to be 30ft an was supposed to withhold 1/2 on each side for exterior sheeting. 1) didn't withhold for sheeting 2) the lengths was a little different up to 1in longer than 30ft?? Like what the heck thought this was a trusses company an everything was engineered an precise??? Never had this issue in 21 years of business. Ever

  I give the woman manager front desk a 0. I complained about her and bad service and now she stalks, and harass me when in the store.Could be a good store, but its not. Fire / Terminate your joke woman manager. ******* ******* location.

  I purchased a pole barn kit with the upgraded Premium Pro Rib Steel that is currently rusting and paint loss. Menards has denied any warranty relief even though Premium Pro Rib Steel has a lifetime warranty. Buyer beware purchase from a reputable company!!!

  Trying to get a rebate check reissued. cannot get past the 1st screen. How do you have a tracking number when you never received it Out a $145.52 because they mail stuff, post office loses it. Than ON TOP OF THAT THEY WANT MONEY TO REPLACE THIS, IF I EVER GET *** MONEY BACK no email Address FOR REBATES WO TRACKING NUMBER

  Item was bought with a posted sale price. Associate would not honor the posted price. As if I would do this just to get a discount. Nothing was offered to correct the issue.

  Bought a Maytag washing machine in 2021 and a three year extended warranty they sold from ******** Protection Plan. Fast Forward to this year 3 months before our extended warranty expired we needed a minor repair. The fill button stopped working. When we called tried calling ******** and found out they were purchased by **** ****** and we could not get through at all. Tried doing it on their website but we were not in the system. Spoke with the Manager about the problem a few times and he was absolutely no help at all. We tried going above him and never received a call back. Since my washer was still working we just gave up. What if my washer wasnt working at all? Just want people to be aware of this problem. I will also file a complaint against Four Square also.

  I purchased self adhesive carpet with a 5 year warranty. It was installed 3 months after purchase at my fishing club. Shortly after installation we noticed that it was badly fraying and constantly clogging up the sweeper with carpet fiber. I sent a letter to Menards along with pictures and they, along with the manufacturer, agreed it was defective and said I could receive a store credit for the amount purchased, $1,465.79, if I returned the carpet or get a $750 store credit without a return. I was fine with this being that the carpet was purchased over 3 months prior. However, I told them that the carpet could not be returned until the following year, 2025, during our "work week" at the camp. They, in return, said that I had to sign a release form and take the $750 by the end of 2024 or imply that I would not get anything. I felt no choice but to do this. I asked them what does a 5 year warranty cover on their products and have not received any explanation. In contrast, I had a defective tool after 2 years with a 5 year warranty and took it back to **********. They gave me a new one even though the cost of the tool went up over $100.

  My husband rented a truck from Menards to move some wood. He deposited $300 to use the truck. When pulling out of our apartment, he was a bit too close to a pole which is paint yellow for people coming in and out of the complex. It is somewhat narrow. So, minimal paint, like small amount barely noticeable was on the truck. My husband was honest a told what happened. Menards said they would keep his $300 deposited to fix it. Then two days later he was contacted saying it was $2000 worth of damage. I wish I could upload the picture you could barely see the yellow paint from the pole on the dark truck. It was a minor paint scrape, keeping the $300 was fine, but two layers shooting up to $2000.00 is insane. I am willing to share the photo. It is minor. My husband was responsible and willing turned over his deposit to Menards, but it wasn't $2000 worth of damage. So $2000 plus $300 deposit they have charged him $2,300 dollars for minor paint being g removed.

  Menards Online purchasing needs help. It is not efficient as orders get broken up which effects fulfillment notifications. Menards charged me a 20 percent restocking fee totaling over$600 for an order I had cancelled and never picked up at their ********** ** store. The store manager could have cared less and conducted himself in an arrogant manner. When explaining I had cancelled this order, I was informed only part of the order was cancelled because Menards had broken the order up into 3 sub-orders. While trying to sort this all out, even the Manager was confused as to what happened. Menards does not care about customer service anymore.
  Warning to consumers: Be cautious and beware if purchasing from Menards online, essentially their website and online purchasing is flawed.
