      They had the shower door I wanted but it had to be ordered. So I ordered it not only one employee but 2 waited on us together. I had gone out of town when I came back the wrong shower door was installed. Im not an employee so I dont look at sku #s. But they ordered a single slide door and it was supposed to be a 2 door slide. Now they only want to take a $150 of the door I originally showed on the pic and specifically pointed out the correct one. However, Ive paid my guy to put it innow I have to pay him to take it out and put the new one in. Only $800 more. How is that right? I I was Menards employees who screwed this order up not me. Double check your orders before you leave the counter where you order it. Evidently they dont correct there mistake and it cost you double. Someone should train these guys better to do it correctly the first time. Yes part is on me for not double checking. But the receipt only showed a sku # so that means after customers order they have to go back check the sku #. I agree with the other review. I dont work there. So this was on Menards.

      If I could give 0 I would worst products and extremely rude managers. Bought a chain saw today it went through 2 qt of oil for 3 little tree stumps, when I called they told me only exchange I went to store wanted store manager that has no business being a manager. Will never buy anything again from here spent over 200.00 and still have nothing to show for it.

      Ordered new furniture from Menards! After talking with someone for a week before delivery they still couldn't get it all on the same truck. The couch had a forklift hole in it. I was told I was getting a refund. Couch is still bad and still no refund! Try ********** don't waste your hard earned money on this place!

      Had cement mixture delivered the driver dropped two pallets and I called the store talked to two different GM said there going to call me back still no word basically they dont care said not there problem

      I drove 2-1/2 hrs one way to pick up 3 garage doors and all hardware and 3 Openers. They Loaded my garage doors, openers and hardware boxes, 2 of the hardware boxes were opened, unloaded them an took them inside, customer service could not produce an inventory of what was supposed to be in the boxes, said they would mail me any missing parts, started installing doors found two brackets missing, called and emailed pictures to them of missing brackets, received the 2 missing brackets and were the wrong brackets, cut and welded an made them work. Found they did not load the 3 metal tubes over the doors for the coil springs, called and from here its been a big *****, first they couldnt find them, then no one knows anything, then they say they located them, Im 2-1/2 hrs away, told them to ship them to me. Week later no tubes and again no one knows anything. The follow up of customer service is lacking to say the least. ( *********** )

      I used to work for the Menards in ******* ******** I think the manager of shipping and receiving and yard needs to be fired he treats everyone like kids and watches every one and being wreckless on a forklifts and unsafe work environment ******* needs to get fired

      Terrible all around. Ordered cabinetry through their UCREATE services on several occasions (my fault for thinking one of these experiences would go well). On the first two occasions we picked up the order ourselves. BOTH time we did not receive all of our order and had to make multiple trips back to the store to retrieve parts of our order...ok whatever. This last time I ordered I decided to pay for the delivery service because I became insane and thought someone would have to inventory the items before putting them on the truck to ensure I received them all right? When the truck rolled in they had about ? of my order - I could immediately tell just by the sheer lack of large boxes present. When I called to inquire, I was passed around, gas-lit and manipulated - they kept telling me it was my fault for splitting my purchase into 3 orders (I didn't do that - I placed ONE order and the store broke it into 3 parts). THEN told me to inventory and tell them what was missing. I'm sorry, am I also allowed in the break room and where do we pick up our paychecks? This is YOUR job....there are about a hundred line items when you order cabinets and I am missing about 70% of it! When I asked to speak with the manager it was like talking to a panel of dry wall - we got nowhere with it. Did I mention, I called in advance to check on the status of my order because they threatened via email to put the items back into their stock if I didn't pick it up by a certain date - did you catch that - I paid for delivery....the guy ensured everything was pulled and would be on the truck...cripes. When I called to report to corporate - their automated messages are a huge run around too. This place should be cancelled with *****************.

      I think their sales are bogus bait and switch acts. They put things on sale they dont have and then want to charge you exorbitant shipping fees and wont ship to store for you to pick up

      We purchased dog eared fence panels in late 2022 and Ive written them and sent pictures about the following (2023 spring/summer) every panel needed some replacement boards. These panels are also only held together by nails which is poor construction, the boards twisted and pulled away from the main panels lifting from the bottom and curling upwards while the tops curled in and downward.. we merely wanted the panels and screws to replace what we had to replace and they never responded. They also NEVER sent our rebates for the panels purchased. Poor customer service on the matter overall. We will NEVER PURCHASE building material from menards again. RP LUMBER AND LOWES or any where else will be our go to for any outdoor building needs.

      We ordered a patio set from Menards.com with free shipping to the Appleton store. The Appleton store was out of stock of the color we wanted but did have another color in stock. However the item was in stock at Menards distribution center in **********. The order arrived at Menards and my wife tried another patio chair while at the store and found the one we ordered was not the one she thought it was. The other patio set at Menards in ******** was more $ so we were going to return the set we did not pick up yet and purchase the more expensive set. NOPE! The Appleton store claims order order from Menards.com was a "special order" and therefore subject to a 25% restocking fee! There was no way we were paying a $225 restocking fee for something that was a stock item on Menards.com. Long story short; the Appleton general manager ******************** was hard-fast that this was a special order (even though it is not stated as such in store or online) and would not back down from the 25% restocking fee. ******************** was very rude trying to prove his point which just dug himself a deeper hole. The patio furniture was made by Backyard Creations which is a registered trademark of Menards so trying to convince me that anything coming from an outside vendor is a special order. I will never, ever, order anything again from Menards.com and will have to think long and hard before stepping foot in that store again. The top two national hardware stores exist in the same city so why would I want to return to Menards again to feel that berated by the GM.
