      My family and I were almost hit by a forklift driver while in the store. He drove into the same aisle as us, no spotter, driving fast, driving in reverse (without a load). I complained to the floor manager (*****). He did not respond positively - instead became defensive. The next day I spoke with the store general manager (*****). Instead of having a response, He literally asked me "what do you want me to do about it". I then called the Human Resources department - Nothing. Out of three Managers none addressed my complaint.

      They need to stop posting final price after rebate when you get no money back after the "rebate"Menard's advertises products with a before and after price with the rebates. After looking at the fine print you save no money and the final price is a lie. You get no money back after the rebate, but instead get store credit.

      I bought paneling from this location and paid for it and they were suppose to pull it and save it for me as I had a pick up order that said later this week and they didn’t pull it and sold it! When went to be picked up found out it was gone and the general manager Mike was not very nice and didn’t want to help with a solution. He said I can give you an instore credit. He told us to go find it at another store. So now I had to call around to find the product I had already bought drive an hour to get it and an hour home and use my own gas! He didn’t want to help at all! I called to talk to him and he said I gave you an instore credit! Very unsatisfied about how he handled this and treated me as a customer. Truly don’t feel like a valued customer or that he should be a GM if he can’t help people

      Their security had pulled me into a room and used predatory tactics to get me to pay a $200 fine when I had not stolen anything. It is ridiculous the money I had paid did not even go to Menards themselves it went to the private security company. All though it was charged as Menards. Super unprofessional and awful business practices this was at the location in *********** **.

      I am looking to be refunded the sales tax I paid for items purchased and then returned. I was refunded $2.76 for the items returned but not the sales tax of $1.83. By law, my sales tax has to be credited back to me if a product has been returned.

      If I could give zero stars I would they accused me of stealing a $14 cat harness and told me I need to come in and sign a trespassing document and Id be banned from the store or theyll leave it up to corporate which means theyll fire my roommate who works there at the facility. He never did anything to begin with. They are discriminatory ******** and I recommend youd find your products elsewhere. Mind you I paid for the harness too.

      After emailing Menard's and ******************** for the fourth time, and them alleging they had mailed three different checks to my address on file. I just checked the rebate tracking system, and it shows that my rebate is again being processed. This is nothing more than a scam between Menard's and the company they hired to process their rebates. There are way too many complaints by other customers stating that they have not received their rebate checks on merchandise purchased at Menards. There should be sometime of class action lawsuit for misrepresentation, false advertising, fraud and scamming consumers. I have friends and family who never received their rebates, and because the amount was only $20 - $40 dollars, eventually gave up. My rebate is $173, and I will continue to pursue the issue out of integrity and holding them accountable.

      Menards advertises that customers get 11% off everything in the store. This is entirely false; customers receive an 11% in-store-only credit for the purchased items. The idea that customers get 11% off implies a discount of 11% where the 11% of the purchase price is returned to the customer or is realized savings. If an item costs $1.00, the customer pays 89 Cents only for the item and walks out with 11 cents in their pocket, not an in-store credit for 11 cents. This type of advertising is deceptive, and the customer realizes no discount. Menards has assured all monies spent in their store represent a future of 11% profit; the customers save nothing. Additionally, they expire the instore credit, further proving it is a fraudulent practice. This is complete fraud.

      I would give a zero star if I could. This is my first time dealing with Menards and I will never again buy from them. I will stick with ********** where there is better customer service. First, when I was at the store, employees were not helpful and they have no clue on the products they carry. Second I made the mistake to order a massage chair. They sold me a display chair I didn't know about. I was working so had to call them to ask for a price adjustment, which is the ethical and common business practice. The item was already in its way to my home for delivery which I had to pay extra. I made few calls and spoke to a manager who then told me he wasn't the manager. He refused to make price adjustments and said it wasn't a practice at Menards unless the item is damaged. I then asked what happens if I discovered that the item is damaged after delivery, to which he replied I will have to contact the manufacturer. I was on the call for 30 minutes to understand their rationale in their reluctance in taking responsibility for selling us defective displayed item. It is a terrible place to shop. I will never go there again.

      Bought Whirlpool washer and dryer 02/04/2024, 2 weeks later after 2 times of usage, washer wasnt spinning and draining/ clothes not come out damp not dry. Had technician come and said that washer have a bad main control pressure switch and dryer have a bad sensor harness, had to order parts and possibly 5 weeks to replace parts. Menards wouldnt take washer and dryer back because it had been past 7 days after purchase. This is a bunch of ********. Spent almost $1,600.00 for both appliances that is already brook in less than a month and Menards will not take them back and replace it with new ones. This is bad business for Menards and Whirlpool because they refused to stand behind their products to make it right. We will probably have more problems after this issues are resolve if it ever get resolved.
