      We have been very patient. We have been told 3 times we would get a call back about our roof sheathing. No one has called us back. When we said we would appeal, we were told, by the clams person it would go back to her, and she told us, very matter of fact, that it would go back to her and she would deny it. Not sure what kind of business practices that is. Both Spencer (out agent) and Denise (the office manager) agreed with us that it should be covered. It clearly states in our policy that code or ordinance changes are covered. We just need to have an answer and an explanation. Sincerely, ******* *****

      I have had a renters insurance policy with American family insurance for 14 plus years and have never used it so I thought about cancelling it because to me it was a waste of money to keep paying on it. So I called and spoke with an agent and they told me it wasnt in the policy that I would get a full refund for the years that I had it to me this is such crooked business these insurance companys have more than enough money to give a full refund when a person cancels insurance they are just greedy and milking you for all your money. Even when you do file claims they want to raise your rates and put you through the ring around because they dont want to pay a dime for anything. Dont use American family

      "Exceptional Service from Tara ***** and Team" I recently had to file two claims with American Family Insurance: one for hail damage and another for damage sustained during a category 2 tornado. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredibly smooth thanks to the outstanding work of Tara ***** and her team at the ********* office. Tara and her team were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and always looked out for my best interests. They patiently guided me through the claims process, answered all my questions thoroughly, and kept me informed every step of the way. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. I've been an American Family Insurance customer for over 42 years, and I've always been impressed with the level of service. However, the exceptional work of Tara and her team truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend American Family Insurance to anyone seeking reliable and compassionate insurance coverage.

      If I could leave zero stars, I would. They put an adjuster on my home claim who showed up and appeared inconvenienced to be there, took a ton of phone calls, walked around the yard once and inside the home once. When questioned, about next steps, she said she would call. Never did. Solely emailed. Didnt address inquiries. Then when I complained re removal of the adjuster for lack of communication and attention and disputing the denial of roof claim for hail and wind, I received no contact from the national number, but for civil individuals telling me they put it as a high priority and shocked I hadnt received a call. I got email from the adjuster denying my appeal with another lady on it, when I complained that I wanted her removed as its been over a year, I got a statement that she was going to be out of office for the week and would get back to me next week and that its been over a year essentially and that I would have to wait. I asked for a complaint form and stating I have roofing contractors who saw the claim and they paid for my jeep claim for the same weather event. I cant believe after paying for a policy of over 500k that they cant provide any documentation, no names of inspectors etc. The roof was just put on in 2019 by the former owners contractor which was documented. I have contractors stating wind and hail damage and that it isnt that old. Zero verbal communication, inappropriate personal contact for less than 20 min of time by an adjuster, and little to no email communication. Its all about money and premiums with no coverage.

      We have been a 50 year customer of *********************************************. We have had great customer service prior to our agent retiring. Our current agent, the **********, had NEVER returned a call, email or web inquiry. He has yet to contact us. We had a recent claim and he never helped us. There are so many better insurance companies. We are so disappointed in the current business model of American Family.

      Over 60 days ago an American Family Insurance customer rear-ended my vehicle while my wife was waiting at a stop sign. The police did their job but they are still waiting for a divine revelation to make a decision and pay for the damages to my car. The most inefficient company I have ever seen.

      Before thinking of getting or changing Insurance think twice choosing AMERICA FAMILY INSURANCE, they won't take credit cards, they lie to your face, they disappeared on you after they get your money. And good luck getting your money back. They charged me 2 different amounts I only received one amount more than 2 weeks later still waiting waiting for my money. The worst is when you call to ask for it they are Not Nice anymore, they get rude and make up excuses why you didn't get your money yet. People out there always check your accounts, this is what they do to people You forget what you pay and more Than 2 weeks later you have to Beg or Fight to get your money back.This is American Family Insurance!!!!!

      I have a life insurance policy with American family for 10 years paying $53 and some change per month. They just sent me notice as of November theyre jacking up my price is $666 and some change per month. What a rip off what a scam, trying to cancel the policy and they dont want to cancel. Im not paying $666 a month. I reported this to the insurance commissioner they ***** me on my homeowners insurance now Im looking for a new car insurance to get away from these guys the prices are ridiculous , they will scam you. I have documentation from them proving it.

      I have never had a claim in 20 plus years. American Family Insurance is working as slow as they can to pay me. I have paid contractors way more money. Then I ever should, and they are not sending me my money. They gave me a small amount and then ignored everything I had to say. I have sent countless emails and sent many, many text on their site and they work as slow as they can to pay me. I have to pay for an outside agency to help me get my money. They say your money is on its way. I ask and text over and over and nobody contacts me. I have never did a bad review ever.And this is the worst company i've ever seen

      This is continued from review started once about American family insurance. I have attached a pic of a letter received show old business at top right but doesn't show this yes business. I paid all pymnt at American family office in ********. Charged $67?.?? Six mths. Mr ****** has refused my coverage . He says my current coverage ended 8/20/2024. 30 day grace ****** doesn't apply in his office.. after I made the first pymnt in March 4th I think. The general sent me 3 different quotes under $500. Mr ****** said the can't change anything at the general Go to the website. The general said I had already bought a policy can't cancel to start new one. We won't make ******
