      Absolute Nightmare - Sales rep lied about tv and what was available-also lied about being able to remove services after 3 months free (yeah free thats a joke as well) if they tell you there is NO contract and can leave or switch off some services anytime without repercussions its a LIE - charged a fee for shutting off tv and internet immediately doubled from what I was quoted and has been down twice already just this week! Also they never hooked up outside before coming to do the inside installation which ended up being months of digging and redigging to get a line installed that would work properly. I am now back to paying what I was paying with my old internet provider but with less things...what a scam!

      Too bad Mr. Jim ****** does not read the reviews,regarding numerous complaints. He is the CEO of TDS, and I must say it is pretty much all unhappy consumers. In this day and age, to have to wait for over a month to get service, is not acceptable. The customer service is poor. Most CSR it is very hard to understand because of the accent, and speaking very fast. My order was put in today and it is crucial that I have service a lot quicker because I have a Lifealert button I must wear due to mu health. I requested to speak with a Superviser. Robertgot on the phone and was rude beyond belief. He have the impression he could care less about my issue. He butted in when I was trying to explain and informed me he did not care about any other day and to stick to why I requested to speak with him.Customer service used to be great a few years ago, but is now in the toilet. Mr ****** if I cannot get an ambulance due to this poor service, I have told my family to take care of my issues, should I pass away for not being able to call for help.

      This is one of the worst internet providers Ive ever had. Only reason I have them now is they are the only company to service my area. The internet speed is not as fast as claimed. They lack any effective communication. Every person Ive EVER talked to Im sure is in India, I can barley understand them at all. Im constantly having to call them to explain charges or to figure out what happened to my internet. Once another provider loaves into the area Im definitely dropping this garbage of a company.

      They do not pro-rate.If you cancels service 2 days into the next billing cycle, youre billed for the entire month. This is BS.

      I canceled TDS due to outrageous pricing. Here is where the scam comes in. I have automatic payments set up. I canceled on 8-5 and received a full bill for service 7/25-8/24. They said after they auto drafted my payment that they do not pro-rate bills. Then, 17 days after I canceled they submitted a PRO-RATED bill for 8/25 and some future date. I have called multiple times and they just put you on hold when trying to resolve.

      They are new in my neighborhood. So I called to get some information. It was terrible. He lied to me many times. Then kept telling me when a tech would be at my house to install it. I told him no many times. 35+ minutes. I had to get back to work and told him not to have anyone come out. I started to get messages that night about the tech coming out. I tried to call that night but can not talk to no one after normal hours, and can't cancel online. Called back next day, took 30 minutes to get someone to say it was cancelled. What a waste of time. Do not call them!

      No storms or anything else that would prevent someone for fixing their equipment that has has been ran over for over a week.Everything in my house runs off of WiFi so no phone TV security system nothing, I'm a disabled veteran that is at home with nothing,all they can say is no workers available in my area, .In this day and time this is just ridiculous, but of course they are right on time with the bill

      I've had tds for over 20 years now only because I have to. No other service available. They have been awful to have and to deal with through the years. And now, our service has turned even worse to the point of not having any service most of the days. Unable to make or receive calls. Could last hours or even days. Having to have outsiders call to complain for us. And they won't even do anything about it. It's affecting our trucking company because we can't even book loads. And then they won't even credit your account to even reflect not having a phone more than having one. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They Don't take care of there customers thats for sure.

      The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They set up an initial appointment for me that they made almost impossible to cancel. I first tried calling in to cancel and was told the appointment didn't exist and wasn't on file. I then got texts letting me know about the upcoming appointment. Turns out the agent put in the wrong address and name for the appointment which explains it not being able to be found. I then called into customer service to cancel the appointment. Spent 10 min waiting and spoke to an agent, gave him all the info. He then let me know I'd have to speak to another customer care agent so that they can actually cancel the appointment. This is the most inefficient process I've ever heard of. Was on hold another 30 minutes. All of this because I wanted to setup internet which would have taken two weeks for an appointment, where a technician would have to come out. Spectrum internet was setup same day no appointment.

      Internet service was great. Customer service was not the best. I made a payment by phone to have my service reconnected. I called back a few hours later to find out when my service would restart and was told they had no record of my phone payment, so she took my payment again. Today, my bank account showed a double charge. I called to ask them to refund the duplicate payment. First, they asked if I would like a credit and I told them I would need a refund.. Since I paid with an electronic check, it was going to take 3-4 weeks to refund my money. I then spoke with a supervisor who said the girl was wrong and it will take 4-6 weeks to refund me and “before I ask, she cannot expedite it”. I responded with this situation was their employer’s fault for charging me twice and the supervisor said that changed nothing. Disappointing but not surprising. Great customer service is a thing of the past. I will be cancelling my service with them.
