      I was only calling since multiple fliers stated it will be in area, lock in for lifetime payment as reward (same amount each month forever) and wound up with someone I could hardly understand, did not know what I was talking about, wasted my time for 15 minutes only to wind up telling me to pre-register online. Also, I worked in call center, when they mute themselves for long lengths, its to make fun of you to co-workers. She was rude, short and condescending with lots of long mutes. Decided forget it, I dont even want to do business with them. Unreal.

      I can only give them 1 star and that was for the way they were able to setup my service so quickly. I started service in 2017. I never used the phone line but it was part of a "package deal" so I was advised it would be cheaper to keep it. I needed internet and cable and paid $277.00 a month for it. The internet never worked in 1/2 of my home. I could not get them to help me out on fixing the issue, I spent hundreds of dollars on boosters that never helped. I had wireless boxes for my cable everywhere. It was a mess. My dvr never worked properly and once covid hit and everyone stayed at home I could barely watch anything that was livestreamed on any of my TVs because the internet was so slow. I wanted my internet upgrade to a faster speed but I was already at their fastest speed. I worked to get a new internet carrier and a couple streaming services. I have one box by my main tv and every thing in my home works!! I can use my computer and stream movies from any room in the house, including the garage. So now I turned off my service on 9/22/22 and my billing cycle began 9/16/22 so I expected that they would prorate the difference.....what a shock, just stealing more money from hardworking people. I do not know how this company can be sustainable with the way they treat their customers. I'm currently waiting online for management to speak to someone about how unethical this is after they have been stealing my money for years by paying for a service I never received properly......still holding, nobody wants to talk to an irate woman, I've been on the phone off and on hold for 35 minutes. They have taken up more time with me on hold through the years than I have spent waiting in my doctors and dental offices. WARNING ALL INTERESTED: DO NOT USE TDS - WORST SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE - AND NEVER SETUP AUTODRAFT WITH THEM....

      The absolute worst! If I had any other choice I would choose that! Lazy, incompetent charge you for internet speed you don't get. I qualify for discount internet they say I have to wait 2 months. I called to have my number changed charged me 10$ was to be completed by end of day. 48 hours still not completed. Death threats to a hospice patient, they don't care! Forced to pay for phone service I don't want. Horrible experience lazy, no compassion, no support. Don't do it if you don't have too!

      Dishonest and lazy. We have been a tds business customer for a decade. They've always been difficult to work with, but it has gotten massively worse. For example, we asked to add a line to our system. We have a bank of numbers and the equipment has extra capacity. We just needed them to activate a new line. The most common thing a Telcom company might do. However, even this was too much to ask. We had to pester our rep for months. She lied to us repeatedly. When i asked for a new rep, they said our rep was no longer with TDS, only for us to be arguing with the same lady a few weeks later who is obviously still working there. Its their practice to lie to customers and they fail on the core tasks of operating their business.

      Do not ever get TDS. They do not communicate to customers about not providing services. I work from home and moving, cancelled services and have no internet because they turned it off early. Not helpful when you work from home and have meetings. I will never get TDS nor recommend it again.

      TDS charged me one month ahead when I signed up for their services. They just kept raising the bill until I decided to go with another company . When I cancelled two days after my cycle started they are charging me for another month with out me using their services. I have been billed for this next month of services when Im not using their services. With the month pre payment and the month im not using they have two months payment where Im not using their services.

      First of all, it took me 3 days to get a hold of someone. I received a letter saying my account wasn't found from their system, so they charged me $15. I was told there wasn't anything I could do about the charge. When you try to make a pmt on the phone, you put in your bank account ## and if it isn't incorrect it will ask you to reinter your account #. Hmm! I would like to start making my pmt with a person, but that's not possible because NOBODY answers in that department. I have been a customer for 17 yrs. WHY???

      If there was a negative star rating, I would use it. Very unreliable. After losing my internet, I had to talk to 3 TDS advisors before getting the help I needed. The first 2 insisted on having a tech person come out and gave me a timeframe of 8 am-5 pm when they would come. I don't have the luxury of waiting at home all day and missing work. I have had a tech person come in the past, and what did he do? He called another advisor ON THE PHONE to fix the problem. I could have done that! This is lousy service and only a few individuals know what's going on.

      Terrible company lousy customer service spent hours on the phone. paid $25 upfront to get a promo deal waited months for the line to be ran, was connected for 2 weeks received another flyer addressed directly to me for 3 months free called and said I wasn't eligble because I wasn't a new customer . called & canceled. got a bill for almost $70 for 2 weeks service. called they then offered the 3 months free I told them to late I had called before if this was the way they treated their existing customers after over an on the phone waiting finally some answered explained the whole thing they agreed to drop the charge then a month later get a bill for 25 dollars repeat the waiting on the call talked to their billing department they transfered me to customer service explained everything again got absultly nowhere with them spread the word they are liars and cheats.

      These people came in our back yard and set up wires on the poles and helped themselves to playing basketball in our back yard, then left a big pile of boards branches and junk in our front yard. I have been calling them for 2days now to come pick up their mess and I cant get any help.
