      Terrible service and communication. I signed a contract and was told it would take 10 days to bury the cable and take care of the inside technical set up but heard nothing for five weeks. I called a number of times and people there couldnt tell me anything, because there was no communication between departments. I finally was able to cancel.

      HORRIFIC experience and service. I work remote, so my connectivity is crucial for my vocation. I had a land line connected to my TDS service and opted to convert that number to a cellular number. Little did I know that would cause my TDS account to be terminated with no notice! After spending literally 7 hours hours on the phone BEGGING TDS to restore my service, I was informed it would be at least three business days and that my teaser rate would go away and I would be billed twice as much. This created a huge hardship as I had to move my workstation to a neighbor's just so I could continue doing my remote job. Luckily, I was able to get services in one hour with T-Mobile and was able to cancel with TDS. What TDS did was INEXCUSABLE and INEPT!

      I would rate TDS -0 it is the worst Provider out there on all services. They will raise your bill and lie to you! I had a gift card of $150 sign up on a promotion, and never received it. They said your area does not qualify! This Company will Scam you when you sign up! I cancelled everything and will not pay a $2400 a year service rates keep going up on all my services, I never got!!!!! So happy I cancelled and will go a different route! Don't get scammed by this Company!***

      I made an appt for 8/23, where they told me theyd do full installation and Id have service that day. Then the guy comes, stares at the house for 30 min and tells me someone will come on 9/3 to do installation but they will call to confirm that date. No one calls, so last Thursday I call and they say yes 9/3 and I ask if they can do exterior and interior so I can get service that day and they put me on hold and say that it was scheduled so Im all ******* here we are, 4:30pm on 9/3 and no one comes so I call and the first ****** gets me to a supervisor who then hangs up on me, so I call back and then get a very empathetic gal who got a supervisor who can expedite this, I proceed to get an absolute D*** of a supervisor who asks me what Im talking about and theres no appt for 9/3, after the last ****** told me they marked the exterior installation complete?? He was like are you sure you didnt just imagine they said 9/3? Questioning me after Ive talked to several people who confirmed that and even told me the job was marked complete is insane. He then says theres absolutely nothing he can do and he can schedule for 9/10 so I cant work or do anything at my house for a full extra week now.. I asked if they can expedite and he said he can submit but probably not because they just dont approve that for new fiber. After nearly 2 weeks of being told Id have service, Im pushed yet another week. Well see what happens next week.

      Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Ive called everyday for the past week to try to get our internet hooked up sooner due to working from home scenario. Each time Ive called they give me a different story & are not considerate to their customers. They gave me a 2 week turnaround time for internet which is not doable in todays society. Extremely frustrating. Unfortunately I cant use any other service due to our area on using TDS, but would not recommend. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

      If I could leave zero stars I would!! The absolute worst internet provider I've ever had. Our internet goes out at least it dozen times a day and the people who work for this company have no idea what they're doing or how to fix any problem other than telling you to reset your modem. Dial up back in the day was better than this. If you have other options please try them before getting into the hellish partnership that is TDS internet.

      I've had so many problems with TDS. Good luck if you have a problem because trying to get a hold of anyone is almost impossible. DON'T GET TDS... no one really helps you. You will be on hold forever and transferred to different departments and never get the same answer. They wrecked part of my yard and said they were sending someone out to help. That never happened. The only time I could get through was when I said I would be a new client. I was I was disconnected 3 times just trying to get an answer. I almost thought it was fraudulent. Just don't do it. Can't trust they. No company should be like this.

      When we set up TDS it was under my husband's name, email, etc. He passed away in 2021. I tried to ask why my bill was going up, but they would not answer any questions because my name was not on the account. 2 separate times I sent his death certificate, and transfer paperwork to TDS. It was never returned, but they "never received it". I wanted to cancel but I couldn't do that either, because well... my name isn't on the account. So I disconnected the equipment, they continued to send bills in my husband's name, and now collections in my husband's name. Horrible service, biggest regret was not sending paperwork registered mail, but didn't think I had to.

      I would give TDS 0 stars if I could. When it works, it's great, however, we constantly have issues with internet connectivity. We use our own modem that's been setup with TDS customer service. I was on the phone with their customer support this morning where they confirmed there seemed to be nothing wrong with my modem and it must be an outside problem. They set up an appointment for me in 3 days. Very inconvenient, to say the least. Long story short, we (as well as other confirmed customers) have internet drops all the time. Typically once a day, not necessarily at the same time or for the same length of time. I'm not sure what's going on on TDS' end but they need to fix it. If there are several of us complaining, it seems like they would work toward a solution but still, we just feel ignored. To their credit, the customer support person was friendly. This guy is the only reason they got 1 star.

      My dad passed away in October, he had auto payments set up. I called in December and asked for the service to be turned off and if they could refund me the 2 months. A manager said yes, I'd be seeing that check back for $234 in 6 weeks. Didn't see it. Called AGAIN. Now they didn't have record of me as the trustee. I emailed the documents. They said I'd see the check in 6 weeks. Then I get a bill for $32. I call AGAIN. That was because I had to send back the equipment (no one mentioned that before!). Those charges would be taken off and the check issued after they received the equipment. I found the equipment and sent it back. Still received bill for $32. I call AGAIN! They had received the equipment, but somehow it hadn't been marked off. He fixed that, and the check would be issued in 6 weeks. Still no check. I call AGAIN! This time they didn't have record of me as being someone they could talk to about the account?! Even though I'd already talked with them often, I needed to resend the documents. After they received those, someone would contact me about the refund within 2 days. No one did. I call AGAIN. At first they still didn't see me as a contact, but upon asking for a manager, they were able to see those documents. BUT I wasn't going to get a refund because of some other charge. I ask how that can be, she looks into it all, and decided now the refund will be $126. Why? She thinks because the original guy (8 months ago!) was not supposed to refund me for 2 months but just one month. I argue that if one manager approves it, they can't recharge me after the account is closed? I talk to her supervisor, who maintains (but for different reasons) why the $126 is what the refund will be. Apparently I'll see that check in 6 weeks, and her supervisor will contact me within 2 days. I'm not holding my breath. I have spent HOURS on the phone with them, and it's been a long 8 months of waiting and them coming up with different excuses why the check hasn't been sent.
